Conservative MP’s message to gun owners: “Don’t expect the Liberals to protect your rights”

Brian LilleyArchive

We’ve done several stories since the RCMP turned hundreds of thousands of Canadians into criminals overnight by changing the classification of a widely owned rifle magazine to prohibited. We’ve spoken to gun experts and politicians who all say this is wrong.

Conservative MP Candice Bergen joins me to discuss her recent effort to fight for common sense on this issue in a letter to Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale encouraging the Liberals to use the ability the Federal government has to reverse this decision.

Watch as she fills us in on what gun owners need to do to help make sure their rights are protected.

An example of the tail wagging the master. RCMP responsible to Parliament, not the reverse. Parliament tells the RCMP what the gun laws are.

Ah, but we are in Bizzaroland. A land where ministers ignore the law and do as the RCMP tells them. Just so sad.

Miss Harper yet?

Leviticus, private property in Canuckistan is meaningless. The Tater Tot’s Papa never gave us property rights in your flawed constitution. I can assure you that that fact is not lost on said, Tot.

Not one has been arrested. So rebel try posting facts. Like get off your ideology and do something real.

Goodale and his fellow commissars will likely feel challenged by Conservative MP Candice Bergen’s letter which will force the LPC’s hand now – especially if he reads the comments here…
I wonder how the confiscation will actually go down?
Regional teams of jack-booted thug hirelings trained outside of Canada, in urban and rural firearms confiscation and warfare by the UN, sweeping their assigned areas, armed with lists of all the law abiding, responsible firearms owners – shades of the High River Gun Grab. Heavily armed in heavily armoured vehicles with all kinds of techno-scanning stuff and other war materiel:
Aided and abetted by the local police and/or Mounties and other government bureaucrats.
‘Oh the humanity!’ (Visualize a burning Hindenburg)
Bad PR that…
Or will they stick to the ‘death by a thousand cuts’ routine…
I suspect law abiding responsible firearms owners are a little more resistant or militant today about our gun rights and property rights than we were when that other LPC commissar Alan Rock foisted gun control on us…
Gun Control has very little to do with guns, but has everything to do with control!

The Liberals do not care about liberty.

Hide your firearms and make sure they are hidden in weather proof containers in land near where you live – preferably on land that is owned by someone with no firearms license.

Be sure to store at least two boxes of ammunition with each firearm.

You might thank me within the next ten years.

The police are now your enemy – avoid them with a passion.

If you do not you will sooner or later be very sorry

@leviticus – private property can be seized at any time by a vindictive government.

And the fag boy hates people like you and me.

LEVITICUS 2013 said, ‘Fire arms are private property.!!’
Yeah, but when did Liberals respect our rights leave alone our private property.
They are all assholes that are bound and determined to screw up our Canadian rights and values.

Every kid in my neck of the woods still uses this mag in their 10/22 for shooting tin cans and pests – still using them, openly in fields and pastures across the west – this is who the RCMP political section has set themselves against. There will be a lot of pissed off farmers and band chiefs when their youngsters are criminally charged for owning something that has been legal for 5 decades.

I don’t have the bandwidth to enunciate the legal premises that have been violated by the police here – suffice to say that it is a constitutional right for Canadians to expect the rule of law to be applied in accordance with equity and linearity and not capriciously criminalize people by decree of bureaucrats.

The first test this regulation meets in federal court it will fall. But that’s the point bothe the Liberals and Goodale have such contempt for Canadians who hunt or own firearms (this is a boys .22 were’s talking about here, not a military assault rifle) they want to make us (as a group funded effort) go through the expensive time consuming legal system – they want to creat hardship and abuse their authority.

On a larger scale, these malevolent police bureaucrats are testing our response to this obvious insult – if they get away with it they will attempt an larger abomination of regulatory oppression. Join a firearms owners rights group and chip in a few bucks for a legal war chest – we’re going to need it because the current regime hopes to accomplish mass confiscation and another gun registry through regulatory reclassification.

“Don’t expect liberals to stand up for your rights”

Then don’t expect me to comply.

And don’t think that you will be treated with any respect if you come knocking at my door.

I’m sick and tired of being bullied by liberals and their disciples.

You want a fight………it may get a little bloody.

Hey Goodale if you’re reading this?

Any gun owner that voted Liberal in any election while actually believing that the Liberals would not go after law abiding gun owners, lives in the twilight zone. The Liberals at every level have shown their disdain for anyone that owns a firearm .As far as the Liberals are concerned, lawful fun owners are cavemen in an enlightened society. They have no place in it. They will do everything in their power to slowly erode this part of society, until it is too expensive, too weighted down in red tape, and just too difficult to enjoy. But they will say that they just want to make the streets safer for everyone. While at the same time making sure that 50% of all criminals that are serving time in this country, are serving it in the community. Weak on crime, tough of the law-biding. Guess which is easier. Bet you most people with criminal records vote Liberal, and most of the law abiding don’t.

Gun owning law abiding citizens present absolutely no threat to other law abiding citizens… gun free zones are targets for criminals and other sub humans who wish to do harm on innocent people Because they know there is nobody there to stop them and the authorities usually only arrive after the fact to take bodies away and to take statements from survivors.
I don’t think there was ever a time in history where murderers and thieves bothered to take the time to obtain a gun permit before going on their murderous rampages.. unarmed citizens are targets and resources for the criminal element who would do them wrong. The statistics are out there for every country who practices gun control… Either the crime rate goes straight up and through the roof because only the criminals have guns or the country evolves into a armed dictatorship who through violence and aggression subvert the people… the lessons of gun control should be represented by cold hard facts that speak for themselves in a positive light and not based on knee-jerk reactions or crying emotions that have no place in objective and critical thinking.
If gun control worked then police would not ever need to be armed.. Taking guns away from law-abiding citizens does not take guns away from criminals or do anything to help us it only leaves us defenseless to protect ourselves from a threatening element.
Switzerland has an automatic military style tactical rifle Tucked away with ammunition in almost each and every household… Nobody bothers to mention that it has one of the lowest violent crime rates in the world.. And they as law abiding gun owners don’t run around shooting each other up.
Start demanding your right as Canadians for self protection
and castle law..

First off, the pistol is a restricted firearm. So I guess the RCMP bureaucrats are admitting firearm restrictions are useless when criminals want to use them. Anyone really think both the pistol and magazine will disappear when the Mohawk reserves exist?

Second, this is a trial case. Successfully prohibit a rim fire .22 of maximum capacity, then what is next. My bet, shotguns, the best home defence firearm.

Third, I suggested on another platform years ago that this will be the method of control, ammo and magazines. Stock your ammo now.

As far as I can determine there are no more than 200 of the pistols in question out there. Making that pistol a prohib would create fewer criminals…..and piss off fewer people.
