Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is anything but a friend to free speech. If anything, he completely opposes the idea – as we've detailed in the past.
It was revealed last week at Zuckerberg took an issue with his employees scratching out “black lives matter” and writing “all lives matter” on the company's signature wall.
In a private Facebook page meant for employees only, Zuckerberg called this behavior 'unacceptable' and 'malicious'.
“We’ve never had rules around what people can write on our walls – we expect everybody to treat each other with respect. Regardless of the content or location, crossing out something means silencing speech or one person's speech is more important than another's,” he wrote. He also encouraged employees to 'educate themselves' on what the Black Lives Matter movement was about.
It's downright hilarious that Zuckerberg would take an issue with silencing speech while the company he suspends users for ridiculous reasons.
There we go. Blocked from Facebook for using the word "faggot".. pic.twitter.com/EYBHksiVcw— Lauren Southern (@Lauren_Southern) February 29, 2016
This week, The Rebel's own Lauren Southern was suspended from Facebook twice because she used the word 'faggot'.
Or this user who was suspended for who knows what...
Zuckerberg's love of Germany and their handling of the refugee crisis (ha) shows just how out of touch with reality he really is.
Take this post for instance.
“Berlin is a symbol of so much that I believe in: breaking down walls between people to make the world more open and connected. Now Germany's leadership and compassion in the refugee crisis has also become a symbol of what it means to build an inclusive global community, and has an set an example for the world.”
Completely running your country into the ground is 'setting an example for the world' according to Zuckerberg.
The man is nothing more than a glorified social justice warrior with the ability to shut anyone down on a whim. He has the power all left-wing fascists crave: the power to end debate, not through facts and stats, but through censorship.
Let's call him what he is: Cuckerberg.
