1. Hungarian Leader Viktor Orban, already famous for his defence of his nation from European Union policies of mass Islamic migration, now speaks directly to the threat behind the threat: International and national socialism.
We present-day Hungarians each and every day choose freedom above all else. We understood that we can only be free if we never give up our sovereignty.
We understood that we can only live in peace and safety if we remain resolute.
We understood, because we felt it on our own skin, that if we trust in freedom, in the end it will give birth to order.
We understood we can only have a future if it is free, and Hungarian! Only free Hungarians have a future.
That is why we must break all Communist and Fascist snake-eggs in a timely manner.

Later in the evening, the Polizei Mannheim Twitter account confirmed there was no search for a second suspect.
More here also.
(German police revealed with stunning rapidity that the man was mentally ill and there was no terror motive, suggesting that police must have full access to German people’s private psychiatric records and are able to reveal this kind of information without any sort of court order…)

8. Geert Wilders suspends his campaign for Prime Minister of the Netherlands due to a breach in Dutch security forces
GoV has this explanation of the nature of the security breach, translated from Dutch sources:
A policeman with dual nationality (Moroccan and Dutch) leaked information to Moroccan criminals and possibly to terrorists. He was employed in the Dienst Bewaken & Beveiligen. This is a special police security unit that protects the royal family and people in serious danger. This is the service that protects Wilders.
It get far worse. This man, Faris K, was not only working for that service. He was also assigned to the IRIS team that protects Wilders himself. He was not working in the bodyguard team personally, but worked as an advance scout.
It gets even worse… Mr. Faris was arrested and released the very next day. He can await his trial at home.
No, we aren’t done yet. Mr. Faris has a brother. Mohammed K. He also worked for the police in Utrecht. There he was suspended for leaking sensitive information in 2007.
Gatestone explains the suspension of the campaign:
Besides this affair, Wilders was told today, that two DBB officers, one of whom was directly charged with guarding him, were removed from his protection team in 2015 for involvement in criminal activities. The Minister of Justice, Stef Blok, declined to state exactly what the two officers, the brothers, Omar El M. and Anouar El M., were suspected of doing.
In response to this news, Wilders has decided it is impossible to continue his campaign.

"The German government admitted Friday it deported fewer than half the Afghans who were due to be repatriated on a charter plane earlier this week, after some went into hiding.
Fifty Afghans whose asylum requests had been rejected were to have boarded the aircraft for their home country late Wednesday, but "in fact, only 18 got on the flight," said interior ministry spokesman Tobias Plate.
But he sought to play down the issue, saying that "if one looks at other flights, the numbers are always below that of the planning figure".
"There are always a few who don't turn up because of different reasons - health reasons, successful applications for urgent rights protection of which there are three cases here..."
I think Gomer Pyle said it best:
