1. #Motion 103 updat: Canadian government delegation met with Islamist lobby NCCM / CAIR-CAN, Islamic Relief and Haroun Bouazzi
On February 8, Liberal MP Iqra Khalid “reconnected” with Islamist lobby NCCM / CAIR-CAN, Montreal-based AMAL-Québec co-president Haroun Bouazzi and Islamic Relief Executive Manager Abdelbasset Benaissa for a discussion about Motion 103. She was accompanied by fellow MPs Salma Zahid and Frank Baylis for the occasion. Motion 103 aims at “develop[ing] a whole-of-government approach” to target so-called Islamophobia.
Officially, Motion 103 is Iqra Khalid’s private member motion. However, very early on Heritage Minister Mélanie Joly was mandated to express the federal government’s “strong and clear support” to Iqra Khalid’s motion.
As National Post columnist Barbara Kay pointed out, it is not clear “whether it was MP Iqra Khalid […] or the Prime Minister’s Office” who crafted the motion. MP Khalid refuses media interviews and won’t answer this question and others.}
2. Train passengers in Sweden have "breathing problems" after liquid thrown on them
TRAIN passengers were left with breathing problems in Sweden tonight after a masked man threw liquid on them as the carriage doors slammed shut - trapping them inside. The attack happened on a subway train at Sankt Eriksplan station in Stockholm, where emergency services rushed to the scene.
One passenger onboard said commuters were left in a state of panic, most suffering from breathing problems and others desperately rushing for the exits.
Reports initially stated the man threw a rucksack into the carriage, but Swedish police have confirmed it was a noxious liquid instead – the motives behind the incident or the identity of the man involved are not yet known.
3. The Blind Sheik, Omar Abdel-Rahman, who recently died in an American prison for his role in the first WTC attack, had his body returned to his home town in Egypt where he is treated as a hero.
4. Muslims on campuses in the West are becoming increasingly open and strident about their anti-Semitism
“Jews only live once” and “stuff Jews in the oven” are among the offensive comments flooding the social media pages of current and former students at the University of Texas, Arlington (UTA), a dossier recently released by a covert campus watchdog group revealed.
According to the document, compiled by Canary Mission – which anonymously monitors anti-American, anti-Israel and antisemitic activity on US college campuses — 24 UTA students and graduates have likened Israel to Nazi Germany, called for violence against Jews and both denied and championed the Holocaust in Facebook and Twitter posts.
5. Racist dodges jail after SPITTING in baby’s face and yelling: "Whites shouldn’t breed"
Callous Rezzas Abdulla spewed saliva all over the pram of little Layla-Jean in the sickening race-hate attack last January.
Stunned mum Rebecca Telford, 25, was walking through South Shields with the tot when Abdulla launched his unprovoked attack, a court heard.
The 33-year-old leant over the baby’s pram and spat in her face before shouting the racially motivated tirade, prosecutors said.
Abdulla was convicted of racially aggravated common assault at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court.
But Abdulla, who has two previous convictions for race-hate attacks on white females, walked free from court without a jail term.
Note: Here is another excellent example of the kind of two tier justice in the West now favouring Muslims.
6. Cary, North Carolina: Muslim convert planned killing spree against non-Muslims
A search of Grimsley's apartment by the FBI, SBI, and the Cary Police Department revealed an AK-47 assault rifle with a collapsible stock, four 30-round magazines, and approximately 340 rounds of 7.62 millimeter ammunition.
If convicted, Grimsley faces five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
The Islamic Association of Raleigh told ABC11 that "IAR always condemns any sort of violence and all kind of terrorist actions committed by anyone regardless of his faith or background. The action of this Cary man if true is no exception is condemned and should be punished in accordance with the law of the land.”
(The media still uses his birth name, but his use of Islamic terms suggests it likely that he had taken an Islamic name. Video at link.)
7. Fredericton open to becoming a "sanctuary city" for asylum seekers: Mayor
The mayor of Fredericton, New Brunswick is considering declaring his city a “sanctuary city,” meaning the doors would be open to those seeking refuge in Canada.
“What it theoretically means is we’re an open city for any refugee, undocumented refugee that hasn’t got citizenship status,” Mayor Mike O’Brien said Wednesday.
If you own property in the formerly idyllic town of Fredericton, NB, now may be the time to sell.

And more French riots over the same issue from today:
9. "It’s no paradise": Switzerland funds Nigerian TV series to discourage migrants from coming
Switzerland’s State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) is spending $450,000 on filming a TV series with African actors showing the perils of living in Europe illegally, which will be shown on Nigerian television.
“We have seen that a lack of information or false information is one of the main problems that leads to illegal migration,” SEM spokesman Lukas Rieder told The Local. “Human traffickers tell potential migrants that Switzerland is paradise, it's El Dorado. But that's not true. We want to provide objective information about the dangers of passage, and the dangers of living in Switzerland without a permit, for example.”
10. Young Iranian chess grandmaster expelled from national team for not wearing hijab
Iran has banned 18-year-old chess grandmaster Dorsa Derakhshani from competing for the national chess team for not wearing a hijab – obligatory dress for women under Iranian law.
Derakhshani was expelled for not covering her hair with the garment – compulsory wear for women since the Islamic Revolution in 1979 – while competing as an independent player in the 2017 Tradewise Gibraltar Chess Festival.
Her brother Borna, 15, has also been banned after competing against Israeli player Alexander Huzman in the same tournament.
The siblings have subsequently been precluded from competing in future international competitions for the Islamic Republic. Dorsa obtained her International Master and Woman Grandmaster titles last year and currently lives in Barcelona, Spain, after taking up the offer of a year’s residency.
(If there is a nation left on Earth that still defends the rights of people not to be adherent to Islamic sharia norms, I am certain they would be most honoured to have them both.)
