1. German government makes stick-on tattoos for young girls to ward off Muslim rapists in public pools.
The small press-on designs also sport angel-like wings and are part of a new prevention campaign launched in the Bodensee district in the state of Baden-Wurttemberg.
Veronika Wascher-Goggerle, the Women's and Family representative of the district, is behind the launch and said the press-on tattoos would also help raise awareness over the growing issue of sex attacks in swimming pools.
The Bodenseekreis is famous for its bathing and boasts numerous indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
Here is a translation of a German opinion piece on the issue:
After Silvester [New Years Eve in Germany] women were told to hold “an arm’s length distance” from strange men. At the Bavarian Broadcast station one refugee helper just recently suggested that young women and girls will have to be educated about how they should act towards asylum seekers, so that they wouldn’t “provoke” them, and now? Stick on tattoos which say “No”?
Wait a minute, you think this is too out of touch? Veronika Wäscher-Göggerle doesn’t think so. The commissioner for women and family affairs at the Bodensee district sees in this campaign that she brought to life an assistance for young swimming guests. She assures: “I do believe that they are very insecure.” Also a cartoon which will be available at public pools will explain what is acceptable and allowed and what not. Wäscher-Göggerle sees the stick on tattoos as an incentive for young pool guests to talk about the issue. Because it shouldn’t come across as a new pool regulation.
2. French news video of the arrest of an Imam and his family.
The story was covered here at the Rebel earlier today.
This is the man who's son was walking the streets of Belgium chanting for the death of Christians.
The father, a "radical imam," has faced deportation before, but as he has dual Dutch/Moroccan citizenship they found it difficult.
3. British boy, eight, died after a GRENADE was thrown into his bedroom while he was visiting relatives in Sweden:
His father Abdiwahid Warsame today confirmed his son, who was visiting relatives in Sweden, had died in the attack, which is being treated as a murder.
Paying tribute to his son he said: 'He was a lovely boy, a beautiful child. He was so well liked at school and really worked on his education."
4. Kurds and Turks illustrate multiculturalism in Holland at work (Rotterdam, August 20, 2016):
Hundreds of residents of the Italian city of Pisa have staged a rally, calling for others to sign a petition against the planned construction of a mosque only 400 meters to the city’s main attraction, the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
The rally was organized at the city market of the city of some 90,000 residents. According to Ruptly video agency, hundreds of people took part in the protest.
“We have to halt the construction of new mosques to prevent Italy from becoming an Islamic suburb to avoid losing our identity,” right wing MP and leader of the ‘No Mosque Campaign’ Daniela Santanche said.
