Geopolitics today is defined by the ideological conflicts between Islam and its ally, Marxism, and pretty much everyone else. Here are just a few examples.
1. Pro-Israel activists went into an anti Israel demo and handed out fliers with factual information concerning Israel and Gaza. It didn't go well.
Seeing as how the US under Obama betrayed the doctor who told them where Osama Bin Laden was hiding, and allowed Pakistan to arrest and jail him with no objection, I think first the US has to ask the US if it is a friend or enemy. Once they know that, what Pakistan is will be as obvious as the noses on their faces.
Frustrated with the persistent support of certain elements in Pakistan to militant groups, several senior US lawmakers are expected to ask Pakistan if it is a friend of foe of Washington.
The senior lawmakers and their witnesses are going to discuss the issue during a hearing that would be jointly held by House Subcommittees on Terrorism, Nonproliferation and Trade and Asia and the Pacific.
The lawmakers are hoping that it would help them determine how to deal with Pakistan, an old ally many in Congress no longer trust.
The chairman of one of the subcommittees is a Republican lawmaker, Congressman Ted Poe, who never makes an effort to hide his dislike for Pakistan, according to Dawn News in Pakistan.
“This hearing will give members the opportunity to learn more about Pakistan’s longstanding ties to terrorist groups and allow for a more informed reassessment of US foreign policy priorities vis-à-vis Islamabad,” said Mr Poe while explaining why he had called the hearing.
The government of Germany did its best to suppress the facts of the Sylvester attacks across Germany, most famously at the Cologne train station. As a consequence, information is still leaking out. This was released just today.
At first, there was complete silence from officials. As rumours spread on social media, police had nothing to say about allegations of mass sexual assaults and other crimes carried out on New Year's Eve in the German city of Cologne.
It was only days later that officials reported that hundreds of women were victims of assault in Cologne, Hamburg and other German cities.
But numbers that are now emerging are likely to shock a country still coming to terms with what happened in Cologne more than half a year ago. According to a leaked police document, published by Germany's Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper and broadcasters NDR and WDR, the previous estimates have to be dramatically revised — upward.
Authorities now think that on New Year's Eve, more than 1,200 women were sexually assaulted in various German cities, including more than 600 in Cologne and about 400 in Hamburg.
Merkel seems to want to solve these various problems by labeling products that contain pork to make life more Islamic for Germans.
It is dated 2010 but is interesting in retrospect as we see the effects this Islamic political party has had on Bangladesh since then.
The Rebel has previously posted stories about the slaughter of many people by Muslims, undertaken in order to create a more "pure" and sharia based state.
2. (C) Prior to the majlish, Jamaat-e-Islami Assistant Secretary General Abdur Razzaq contrasted Jamaat's intentions with those of Bangladesh,s two main political parties, the Awami League and the Bangladesh Nationalist Party. Razzaq told us Jamaat is not concerned with short-term gains like winning the next national election or increasing the number of seats in the national parliament. Rather, Jamaat's true aim is to make Bangladesh a genuinely Islamic country. [...]
5. (C) Mollah repeatedly said an Islamic state was the only thing that could solve the problems of Bangladesh, including poverty and moral bankruptcy. [...]
6. (C) Jamaat's student wing, Bangladesh Islami Chatra Shabbir, in contrast, is much more focused on the short-term. The Shabbir leadership is concentrating on politics -- both on campus and nationally. It has organized protests against the Awami League government's education policies and holds workshops to promote Islam among students.

After that they should question Chinese ties to the Great Wall of China. After all, it is an "apartheid wall" created to keep out the Mongolians.
GENEVA, July 10, 2016 — United Nations Watch, a Geneva-based watchdog organization, expressed concern today that UNESCO may fuel anti-Jewish incitement and violence, and the increasing Palestinian denial of Jewish religious and cultural rights, by adopting an Arab-sponsored draft resolution that denies Jewish ties to Jerusalem’s Western Wall and Temple Mount.
The Jordanian-Palestinian draft text on the Old City of Jerusalem was submitted to the 21-member World Heritage Committee, which meets over the next 10 days in Istanbul for its 40th annual session.
“This inflammatory resolution risks encouraging the past year’s wave of Palestinian stabbing and shooting attacks in Jerusalem and other parts of Israel, which began with false claims that Israel was planning to damage holy Muslim shrines,” said Hillel Neuer, executive director of UN Watch.
Let's do another.
One may suspect that the statistics on sexual abuse against children, and frankly everyone else by Muslims in the West, might be much higher than we realize, if this sort of coverup is common.
Staff at an asylum seeker accommodation have been accused of a cover-up for allegedly telling the mother of a six-year-old boy not to complain about her child being sexually abused.According to the mother, managers at the asylum seeker refuge told her that the child might be taken into care if she mentioned it.The woman had left her son in the hands of a 23-year-old Iranian man in the asylum accommodation where they were both living. However when she returned from shopping to her room in the property in the Upper Austrian district of Liezen, she found him extremely distressed and he told her what had happened.
"Managers at the asylum seeker refuge told her that the child might be taken into care if she mentioned it."
Hard to wrap one's brain around that.
A few additional things of note. This first video is on the BLM movement, which on the surface may seem off topic.
But as there are strong ties between the Muslim Brotherhood and its various front groups and BLM, it is likely that Black Lives Matter is actually just another vector of attack against classical civilization. In this debate, a sociologist argues that point against an advocate.
Arizona sheriff David Clark has a few things to say as well:
Perhaps one of the reasons that people seem blissfully unaware of the facts of Islamic ideology and its intentions for the West is that any person in a place of authority who tries to point it out gets fired.
After a distinguished career spanning more than three decades in the military, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn was sacked in 2014 as head of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).
When he asked the director of national intelligence James Clapper, who came to deliver the news to him, if his forced retirement had anything to do with his leadership of the agency, the answer was “no.”
“I knew then it had more to do with the stand I took on radical Islamism and the expansion of al Qaeda and its associated movements,” Flynn wrote in a first-person account published by the New York Post. The account specifically calls out how the “intel system (has become) way too politicized.”
Flynn, who is reportedly one of the names surfacing as a running mate for Donald Trump, outlined his strategy for defeating America’s “global enemy,” who he defines as an alliance of secular dictatorships (North Korea, Cuba and Venezuela) with Iran and other radical Muslim countries and organizations such as the Islamic State, Al Qaeda and the Taliban.
Here is a curious one:
A person, already in custody, shoots three people and one dies.
No name is given for the killer. This typically has meaning.
Two bailiffs have been killed and several other people have been injured after a gunman grabbed a deputy's gun and opened fire at the Berrien County courthouse in St. Joseph, Michigan.
The shooting took place shortly before 2:30pm, and happened on the third floor of the building following a 'disturbance'.
Berrien County Sheriff Paul Bailey said 'brave officers' took down the gunman, who was an in-custody inmate who had grabbed a deputy's weapon and started shooting, according to freep.com.
