Today's list of Islamic atrocities brought to you by the teachings of Muhammad and his followers is more grizzly as usual, as it's Ramadan.
As is the custom, this motive for this attack, like so many jihad attacks by Muslims, is being deflected by the government-media complex onto the mentally ill community.
In more classically liberal times, voices would be heard objecting to this as the mentally ill have the same proportion of violent antisocial behaviour as does the general population.
Much like how the British deflect Islamic violence onto the "Asian" community, apparently using real racism, always saying it was Asians, to offset the appearance of racism, by mentioning it was Muslims.
The fact is, it is not Asian ancestry that caused the Rotherham rape scandal. It was Islamic beliefs.
A TEENAGE girl has been stabbed by a man as a Ramadan sacrifice, according to authorities.
The girl was reportedly stabbed in Rennes, France, by an attacker marking the Islamic month of fasting.
Prosecutor Nicolas Jacquet confirmed the attack today, in which the 19-year-old victim sustained three stab wounds.
He said the man, who had known psychiatric problems, claimed he heard voices demanding a sacrifice for Ramadan.
Funny, you never hear about a sacrifice being needed for Jesus or Buddha.
Yemen: According to the 1994 penal code, married men can be sentenced to death by stoning for homosexual intercourse. Unmarried men face whipping or one year in prison. Women face up to seven years in prison.
Iran: In accordance with sharia law, homosexual intercourse between men can be punished by death, and men can be flogged for lesser acts such as kissing. Women may be flogged.
Iraq: The penal code does not expressly prohibit homosexual acts, but people have been killed by militias and sentenced to death by judges citing sharia law.
Mauritania: Muslim men engaging in homosexual sex can be stoned to death, according to a 1984 law. Women face prison.
The rest of the list is at the WAPO link above. SPOILER ALERT: They are all Islamic territories, where death is applied. None of them are giant mental institutions. It is noteworthy that at least check, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania still has open slave markets and many people in that religiously Islamic nation are born into generations of slavery.
3. Two Muslims arrested in India for "Love Jihad" where a girl was forcibly converted, forced to eat beef -- cows are sacred to Hindus -- and tortured and blackmailed.
There is quite a bit of this in Europe as well. I believe in the Netherlands, this is called "Loverboy" jihad.
Iranian women who wear immodest clothing have caused the nation’s rivers to run dry and damaged the environment, a senior cleric has claimed.
Ayatollah Yousef Tabatabai-Nejad, an arch conservative prayer leader in the city of Isfahan, said that a strict Islamic dress code must be enforced to ward off drought. The controversial cleric, previously accused of provoking acid attacks on women who flouted the dress code and for advocating the use of the whip, called for a new crackdown on the phenomenon of “bad hijab”, meaning that women are not properly covered up.
I suppose I could potentially see a case for lots of good looking women dressed immodestly causing a degree of global warming. But droughts? A bridge too far.
5. Newt Gingrich: "The fact is, this is an alien ideology that wants to destroy our civilization"
On a roll now. Let's keep going shall we?
Yesterday, a Muslim waging jihad in France, murdered a French police officer and his wife in front of their 3 year old son. The media is already playing the "mental health" card. But his "martyrdom" video has already been found and is in translation. From what sources tell me, there is zero room for doubt left, after watching it, about his motivation.
The Rebel hopes to bring that to you tomorrow.
The Islamic State already claims responsibility for this killing. But they claim responsibility for ants at a picnic so its hard to make that a conclusive data point.
Here is an update on that killing:
Here is a fascinating report from Australia, where a Shiia Muslim cleric was asked to leave the country for saying that according to sharia, homosexuals must be killed for being homosexuals.
This talk was given three years ago and the talk made it to Youtube etc.
However in the wake of the Orlando shooting, Australia finds it inconvenient to have this cleric in the country, and so is expelling him.
In this interview, there is a stunning mix of honesty and deception by both parties: Self deception perhaps on the part of the interviewer who may be annoyed that the cleric does not distance Islam from sharia and its values, and the cleric who fails to mention that his condemnation of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and the Islamic State comes from the fact that he is a Shiia with Iranian loyalties, who the Islamic State Sunnis view as apostates.
A capital offense of holding any other entity equal to "Allah".
This is worth watching with full attention.
Meanwhile, in Amarillo Texas, a Muslim named Mohamed held people hostage at a Walmart for sometime till police shot him dead.
Mohammad Moghaddam, 54, was a store employee who took the manager and another employee hostage after a confrontation regarding a dispute over a promotion, said Sonja Gross, spokeswoman for the City of Amarillo.
"There is no indication that this had anything to do with terrorism," she said.
Moghaddam fired one shot from a handgun into the ceiling during the dispute and then took the manager to an office in back of the store, she said.
This may not have been jihad. But it may be the result of being raised in a culture where resorting to lethal violence over trivialities, which is Islamic normal, can be the major factor as to when one goes "postal".
Then there is the notion muslims have that Islamic law must be imposed on everyone. Not just the observant.
The Gambia has banned music, dancing and drumming during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, on pain of being arrested - and people are complying, police said.
Ordinary citizens in the small West African country - whose president declared it an Islamic state in December - are being urged to report anyone seen engaging in the activities to authorities, a spokesman said on Monday.
"People are complying with the police order banning drumming and dancing during the month of Ramadan and so far no one has been arrested by the police for violating it," police spokesman Lamin Njie told the AFP news agency.
A police statement published last week warned that "all ceremonies, festivities and programmes that involve drumming, music and dance during the day or at night are prohibited".
Could be worse. In some countries you can't eat while the Muslims are skipping lunch and making up for it at dinner.
So what are Canadian politicians saying about the Orlando shooting?
Bonnie Crombie, the Mayor of Mississauga, Ontario, the sixth biggest city in Canada, condemns the “mass shootings” in Orlando, Florida, that was carried out, according to her, by “criminals” who “are not motivated by any recognizable religion.”
Omar Saddiqui Mateen, 29, of Fort Pierce, Florida, armed with an assault rifle, murdered on Sunday, June 12, 2016, approximately 50 people and injured dozens at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando. The attacker, an American citizen of Afghan parents, was killed by Police.
The following is Crombie’s statement:
“On behalf of the City of Mississauga and Members of Council, our most solemn thoughts and prayers are with the people of Orlando in the wake of these heinous acts of terror.
“I wish to further acknowledge those brave first responders working countless hours, and under incredible pressure, who are helping the residents of Orlando manage through such unthinkable violence.
I wonder what Muslims think about that. I am pretty sure they feel their religion is recognized. Not all of us like it and fewer of us are allowed to say that. But pretty much everyone recognizes it.
I was never really invested in theories of a "one world government" led by the UN, but then this:
A government must be afraid of its people and not the other way around, if we wish to remain free, and preserve liberal democracy.
