Dan Albas sees Comeau case as “game changer”, urges Liberals to “free our beer”

Brian LilleyArchive

Dan Albas, Conservative MP for Central Okanagan—Similkameen—Nicola is the interprovincial trade critic and he sees the Gerard Comeau case as a game changer on the issue of whether Canadians have a constitutional right to trade with one another.

As a result of that case, the Conservatives are pushing the Liberal government to raise the issue to the Supreme Court.

Down the road, Albas feels if we can add more choice for consumers and see more competition, we can see lower prices and inevitably, stronger Canadian companies.

Watch my full interview to see how resolution of this issue in the right direction could have huge ramifications for our economy.
