Daniel Pipes: Greece's simple, counterintuitive solution to illegal immigration

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, President of the Middle East Forum Daniel Pipes joined me to talk about how Greece's model solution to illegal immigration.

Muslim migrants have poured into Greece from Turkey. In fact, it's become one of the worst affected countries during this current wave of illegal immigration.

But the country's solution has so far resulted in 2,200 of these illegal migrants peacefully and voluntarily going home.

Greece has funded a hostel in a nice part of Athens, complete with modern amenities, where migrants can live while their documents and forms are completed.

This may sound like a soft approach, but Pipes reports that 94 per cent of migrants who stayed at the hostel have returned to their homelands.

WATCH to see how this measure has saved Greece millions while making the country safer.

I don’t know why they are moving illegal border jumpers to Ontario . Justine (his feminine name) invited them leave them in Quebec . Ontario has enough debt . Remember the best PMs come from Quebec . Just ask him .

Would it not be cheaper and easier to prevent the illegals from crossing the border in the first place. We will go to any length to not nip the problem in the bud. We don’t need high level meetings. We need our laws changed but then that would not give our lefty leaders opportunity for photo ops and hand wringing when someone dies.
