David Menzies: Christian preacher critical of Islam silenced by “mall cop”

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, I was joined by The Rebel's own David Menzies to discuss his report on a Christian preacher in Toronto who was assaulted by a mall cop for criticizing Islam.

The incident occurred at Yonge-Dundas Square, a location known to host numerous street vendors, activists, and buskers.

Usually, they conduct their business with little to no interference, but all this changed when a Christian decided to voice their opposition to Islamic sharia law.

WATCH to see why David thinks this is more proof that the PC left will not permit any criticism of Islam.

Is Friday the day the trolls save up their twisted lies to do a disinfo dump on Rebel? Must be because this man was in a public place and has every right to spew what ever he wants within the strictures of defamation and criminal libel. He appears to have met that criteria and regardless of how this triggers the incivility in anti-Christian authoritarians , it IS his right to do so and the mall cop committed assault and breech of civil rights, that is the only issue on the table here, not how you feel about what he says – why is it always about you and your narcissistic selfie belief you must not ever be offended in a free society.

Grow some tolerance or get off the planet.

David Menzies ha been a loyal contributor to the Rebel, despite what Lisa Rosie says.
It is beyond me why Ezra Levant would besmirch him and make him out to be an idiot.
Hopefully David Menzies can continue his commentary despite the turn against him.

William Elder, you beat me to it…

Mall Cop – funny movie. Mall Cop 2, not so much.

Would they have run off some foamy mouthed communist spewing blood libel against Christians? You know the answer to that. Their bias is tempered by the fear of being stabbed with a butcher knife for applying the rules equally to the jihadi left.

Paul Blart mall cop strikes again.

See, you’ve set up an interesting dilemma there, since I don’t believe any Muslim has publicly tried to preach in the square. Perhaps I’m wrong, but it’s impossible to interpret if that’s the case.

Aggressive proselytizing seems to be primarily a Christian issue. I’ve never had to threaten to call the police over trespassing Muslims preaching at my door, I’ve never seen preachy billboards along the highways put up by Muslims, I’ve never seen Muslim whackos standing on the street hassling passers-by.

If one of those sidewalk preachers gets punched in the face, doing something Muslims don’t do, can you really apply an equivalency?

Andrew Stephenson give me one example of them removing Muslims. You are brainwashed.

To the trolls: Placing your hands on someone unsolicited whether on private or public property is Assault! Look up the definition in the Criminal Code if you must. Oh wait. Can’t let facts get in the way of a good smear!

Time for a test. Someone with a long beard and a scowl and an accent has to dress up as an Imam and start preaching against Zionism at the same place in that square. Then see how long the stop-watch would run before Mr. Security arrived and cleared the guy out.

Andrew Stephenson – did you even listen to the video? Pastor was in the public square when he was assaulted by the security guard. Nice trolling – but you should get your story straight before making comments. "

I’d love to see some sort of independent confirmation that undue force was used to remove him. He’s got pretty good motive to exaggerate here.

Soon – much like the entire EU – you will be arrested for expressing a distaste for the evil cult of islam.

Of that you can be certain.

The management of Yonge-Dundas Square remove ALL offensive individuals off their property (yes, it’s privately owned).

Leave it to the Rebel to turn property management into culture baiting. That’s exactly why Lilley left.

We now have an official religion for Canada. Islam. Maybe they can transfer this cop to a beach where he can arrest women for violating Sharia Law.
