I have a happy ending to a sad story: Last week a Calgary daycare owned by a Filipino immigrant was vandalized, simply for having the audacity of hosting a “Stop Notley" sign on their front lawn. Their property was marred by graffiti that said “Racist” and “Nazis.” It was shameful.
They were targeted in a similar fashion to many conservatives during the Alberta election campaign, which has seen bomb threats and bricks thrown through windows. Fortunately, after the ballots are counted tonight, those incidents will be a thing of the past.
I was pleased to drop off the money you generously donated, to help this young family repair the damage made by left-wing criminals. (The balance of the donations will be given to the Nazarene Fund, a respected charity that helps persecuted Christians in the Middle East.)
Thank you again, Rebel family, for showing your generosity. This family is very grateful, and so am I.
