Common sense debunks “BreastGate” scandal at Aretha Franklin funeral

David MenziesMission Specialist

One week and two apologies later, the debate about whether or not Pastor Charles Ellis touched Ariana Grande’s breast at Aretha Franklin’s funeral, rages on.

But it’s no surprise that “BreastGate is getting so much traction in the #MeToo/TimesUp era, a time in which the “benefit of the doubt” is the most notable casualty.

The video evidence would suggest that there was indeed contact made vis-a-vis the preacher’s hand and the singer’s boob, but I’d be willing to bet the farm that Ellis was oblivious that his fingers had entered a no-fly zone.

The fact is, unintentional contact between two people who are in close proximity can and does happen and for that, I’m sure Pastor Ellis has suffered enough embarrassment.

To all the trolls out there - can we please move on?

Stephen E. It would be a pretty sick man that would want to touch Hillary.

David: his fingers didn’t go into a ‘no fly zone’, that’s a different anatomy.
Isn’t she the one that wore the dress that was so short anyone sitting behind her (men) would see her behind? At a funeral?

The pastor needs to learn that you never apologize to the perpetually offended SJW’s. Not only is it useless, it also empowers them.

He is tall, she is short. Things happen by accident. It definitely was not him cupping her breast in his hand, which is what the complainers seem to imply.

If he put his hand lower down on her short torso, it would be him groping her butt.

She did not seem bothered about anything, even hugging him after this alleged ‘cheap thrill’ took place, so no offence taken.

Maybe she should have a roped off section around her as Hillary did while campaigning in public. A safe from physical contact zone. That might keep the PC police happy. What am I saying? Even that will bring complaints. Its a heads I win, tails you lose world.
