Democrats' rising star won't debate Ben Shapiro, & MORE

John CardilloRebel Host | Off The Cuff

How much identity politics did a left leaning media outlet pack into one tweet?

And how did the “future of the Democratic Party” avoid a debate with a well-known conservative pundit?

I’ll tell you all about it, and why it happened.

Andrew Stephenson “Obama got the most votes in American history for a reason.” That reason was voter fraud. And a wave of populism which you attribute to President Trump.

“But for this young woman to not only refuse to debate but to attack the integrity of a well know journalist and debater shows just how shallow and weak she is”

I’m curious if your criticism extends to when the President himself does that.

“What does perplex me is that the Dems are even bandying about the idea of this little piece of insignificant fluff being the new face of the Dem party. "

Like Trump, she won the primary on a surge of “throw the bums out”. The Mills and Zers are becoming a very strong political force, with candidates they like, the Right doesn’t stand a chance. Obama got the most votes in American history for a reason.

A mechanic who won’t pull out his wrenches, or a chef who will not cook or a doctor who will not operate or a pilot who will not start the engines all have something in common. They get fired. The purview of “politicians” is making speeches, discussion and debate. For them to fail to engage is to deny their own “craft”. Obnoxious it already is that a part time drama school teacher who is the photogenic son of a past PM can run a country. But at least he goes through the motions. But for this young woman to not only refuse to debate but to attack the integrity of a well know journalist and debater shows just how shallow and weak she is. Whether you like Hillary or not, she always came in very well prepared and she always had a vast grip on the facts as she understood them her fingertips. She is as smart as a whip.
What does perplex me is that the Dems are even bandying about the idea of this little piece of insignificant fluff being the new face of the Dem party. Trump, like him or hate him, has to be recognized as having a whole new level of smarts. Trump is like Mohammed Ali. Ali boxed at a whole new level. Even though they shut him down for years in his prime, he was the best boxer ever. Can you even for a moment imagine what a debate between Trump and this little mental midget would look like?
If you want to see what a woman with a big brain looks like, catch Judge Jeanine Pirro on Fox sometime. Her ability to keep a dozen balls in the air at the same time in terms of making a difficult complex story easy to understand is admirable. Should anyone expect less for any politician?

So once again… Except one day she is going to have to face a genuine debate where her "like, “like” and California “Oh wows” are going to be hanging in the wind for all to see… To say nothing of exposing the painful stupidity of her understanding of how the world really works…

I don’t think the idea behind the debate was about winning or losing. It could have been an opportunity for her to bounce her ideas off of someone with different ideas”

Shapiro’s not interested in “ideas”. He’s interested in sound bites, which will inevitably end up posted on, Youtube, out of context, as “Shapiro OWNS Liberal”. or something like that. If I was her I wouldnt’ waste my time.

She may very well win her district, and if she does it will be a testament to the power of a demographics within a district. Hers is about 50 percent Latino, 40 percent Spanish-speaking, and almost all people of color.”
which is to say, one of the few clusters it is nearly impossible for the GOP to gerrymander.

Ok.. So as of a few minutes ago, Orcasio Cortez “may” debate Shapiro if the ante is raised to $15,000… Sounds to me she is “raising to the wolf whistle” after all… I can’t wait to see how the profound “Amy Lynn” of booster seat analogies plays this latest development…. It’s enough to make a girl go and squat in a corner to pee vinegar…

IF Shapiro was just a rabble rouser she would have point. It would be like Shapiro debating Bill Maher. He’s just out to score cheap laffs with his trained seals. But that ain’t Ben. So the reality is that she is so vacuous that she has to keep her yap shut. She has that much over our boy in Ottawa.

How do you run for office without debating someone. Doesn’t matter what her background is, she has proven herself to NOT be a fighter. So if she is running for office or is already in office and suddenly a debate comes up, she’s out of there so fast you won’t see her for the dust cloud. I guess that’s typical of the Left, in this case Democrats, they don’t like to debate, because when faced with the truth they shut down. And to effectively debate Ben Shapiro, you should have more than a single digit IQ like Cortez.

What would be the point? Conservatives have already crowned Shapiro the winner, and she’ll win in this powerfully Democrat district irregardless. Why waste the time on negativity-mongers like Shapiro and the standard “conservative pundit” mush? She’s got more important things to do.

I will give Ben Shapiro $10,000 if he can eat at a table full of adults without a booster seat.

Cortez is the female equivalent of our very own Traitor Tot.

It is possible that Cortex was smart when she entered University, but the Leftist Professors would have definitely dulled her thinking.
commented 2018-08-10 19:54:14 -0400
The only logical trait about Shapiro is that he doesn’t support Trump.
commented 2018-08-10 19:16:44 -0400
Plz do not speak directly to the monkey troll.. if you cannot help yourself and feel after all this time that the troll could learn from you only speak to it in a third-party context and never address the monkey by name.!

It is encouraging to see that the left is seeing Alexandria Unoccupied Cortex as their savior. She pretty much campaigns for Trump everytime she speaks.

Amy Lynn Cortez is a coward and Shapiro is far smarter than you or she will ever be. If you like her so much move to Venezuela to see the results of her ideology. You are such an angry hate filled left wing child.

Amy I agree that Cortez was right to decline. She is ill informed, not completely stupid, or at least her handlers aren’t. Saying Ben is a ‘shitposter’ and not even a ‘smart one’ is just entirely disingenuous. I know you are pro palistine so why not be honest about your,‘on the backs of dead children’ comment. You don’t like Ben because he is a Jew.

With all due respect to a young, well intended, and to my way thinking, very attractive young woman, I do not blame her for not wanting to debate Ben Shapiro. Mr. Shapiro, as we all know, is currently one of hot intellectual properties of the Right who is blessed with more logic in his little finger than this poor ingenue has in her entire body. Mr. Shapiro would, without breaking so much as a sweat, spread her on Melba toast, cover her with hot tamale sauce and call her Hispanic lunch. C’mon, a Shapiro/Ocasio-Cortez debate would be serious overkill.

Better to match her up with someone at her intellectual level, such as Klem Kadiddlehopper or Yosemite Sam. Its only fair.
commented 2018-08-10 16:59:52 -0400
…besides, why should anybody fulfill a debate request from a guy who danced on the graves of dead children?
commented 2018-08-10 16:57:36 -0400
Shapiro is a shitposter and a troll; he’s not even a smart one. He’s pretending to a level of achievement he hasn’t earned, and Cortez is entirely correct to deny it to him.
commented 2018-08-10 16:50:38 -0400
correction: ……..could NOT deny his impressive proficiency in logic and facts.
commented 2018-08-10 16:48:09 -0400
Mike I think he knew she would decline. He didn’t even have to debate her to highlight what she has already shown everybody several times over.
commented 2018-08-10 16:47:43 -0400
How would she do with some one from the CBC ?
commented 2018-08-10 16:45:08 -0400
Publicity stunt? Maybe. Any one who has ever seen Ben in action, could deny his impressive proficiency in logic and facts. Cortez, not so much. Her declining and in such an ungracious, sexist way speaks for itself. It looks good on her. Ben didn’t even need to debate her to take her down.

I’ve got a feeling that her ‘national profile’ is for all the wrong reasons and will be short lived. Its going to go the way of all really bad ideas, which history has proven to us to be disastrous. Good for Republicans though. She is such a ‘lovely’ contrast. A rather glaring one.
commented 2018-08-10 16:41:39 -0400
She certainly has “a national profile” for now…. Mostly for being America’s answer to our Boy Blunder…
