The term deniers is often used exclusively for holocaust deniers. It's not a term that should simply be thrown around.
But for years now, anyone who has challenged man-made global warming, has been called a climate change denier. So it becomes appropriate to attribute the term "denier" to Justin Trudeau and the Liberals in their refusal to acknowledge genocide.
On June 14, 2016 Justin Trudeau proudly led his Liberals in a vote against a motion to join our allies in recognition of ISIS slaughterings as a genocide.
Not only did our allies like the USA and the UK all pass similar motions, but the opposition political parties like the Conservatives, NDP, and Bloc all agreed with this motion as well.
Trudeau argued that he had to wait for the UN to declare what is, and what is not, a genocide.
Since that vote the UN announced that they consider ISIS's persecution of the Yazidi people as a genocide.
So the Liberals are now willing to say that there is a genocide against Yazidi, but they are unwilling to admit that there is a genocide against Christians or Shia muslims as well.
The Liberals are still deniers. They are refusing to act until the United Nations tells them what to think.
We need the government to stand up and join our allies in recognition of this genocide.
Calling this a genocide is the first step in addressing the problem and we need to demand that Justin Trudeau and the Liberals think for themselves and stop living in denial.
Please sign the petition below and demand that the government stop living in denial of genocide.
Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada should join the international community in recognizing the ISIS slaughtering campaign against Yazidis, Christians, and Shia Muslims as a genocide.
