Departure of star MPP MacLaren, just one of Patrick Brown’s many problems

Brian LilleyArchive

Patrick Brown is leading in the polls but he has problems on the horizon and the departure of one of his former star MPPs is just part of the problem.

Brown is also facing the prospect of another breakaway group starting its own party, a caucus that is increasingly frustrated and big time donors thinking of pulling their funds.

I explain what is happening behind the scenes and how Brown can fix this so his Ontario PC’s still defeat Kathleen Wynne.

Let’s not do this again. Can we please just win the election then we can work on other issues. Conservatives always go after each other but Liberals stand together. Let’s not eat our own before the election. We’ve got to stick together or we are sure to lose ….again!

Already been emailing the Trillium party to get more info and will also be looking at the Alliance party.

I can’t stand Brown. So either he steps down or my vote will go elsewhere!!! He has been useless. A flip-flopper of the first degree.

Go ahead, split the vote!

If you live in ONtario, you should just leave the province. Regardless of who wins, you will be doomed.

With Brown’s support of the Sex Ed Curriculum alone is enough for me but adding in the other issues he has betrayed Conservatives on, it’s a done deal. Patrick Brown is a Lying, Back Stabbing Traitorous Maggot. If there is no other party that comes forward for me to vote for, even though I am a Conservative, I will vote NDP and hope at best either the Liberals or Conservatives get a minority government. Where things will most likely be at a standstill for awhile. At least they may not get worse as they are sure to under a majority of either party at this point. Brown got the leadership waving a false flag, he has exposed himself for the Liberal plant that he is, expect him to get a lot worse if he gets a majority.

I was just researching the options today. Yippee….I’m voting Trillium or what did you call them Brian?? Ontario Alliance??
Monte McNaughton,Bob Bailey and others need to change over to a new, real Conservative party. Hopefully, groups like PAFE (Parents as First Educators) would be on board – right Brian?
Brown doesn’t need to change, he needs to resign and let a real man who can say ‘NO’ take over.

I agree that Patrick Brown is a CINO, with his flip flop on sex ed & in favour of a carbon tax. Electing him as leader was a big mistake & perhaps he should resign & join the Liberals. That will suit him better.

Is there any mechanism with the Ontario PC Party to recall a leader and choose a new one or are we stuck with Brown?

I imagine any mechanism to replace him would be difficult, time-consuming and divisive and it would certainly give the Liberals and NDP lots of ammunition to use against the PCs in the next election but I’m starting to think this is the ONLY way a PC Party can – or should – be elected to govern this province.

Otherwise, I’m at a loss to see how the PCs are any better than the Liberals or NDP.

Brown will win the next election. Face it, right wing politics are dead in Canada.
commented 2017-05-31 21:12:31 -0400
Brown’s a closet commie.
commented 2017-05-31 21:04:39 -0400
I quit the Ontario PC and will not support it as long as Brown is leader. He is the problem.

Out here in the country, all the kids are singing.

Paddy Brown
His pants fell down
And everyone could see
A tiny pair
With peach fuzz hair
As pink as pink can be.

Now, as for Jack, it’s a little late to show balls now, after acting like he had none for the last few years.

@ Kelly Weber said, “I don’t get why the Ontario PC’s keep picking these losers.”

Don’t feel too bad, Kelly, I don’t understand why Liberals and NDP, voters and politicians alike, are all losers.

Are lefties losers because they chose to be socialists, or are they socialists because they are losers?

That is one of life’s great mysteries. It is the chicken or the egg question.

The problem is they don’t get to pick anybody..
Foreign money provides the candidate and foreign money ensures that candidate is successful

I don’t get why the Ontario PC’s keep picking these losers. First it was Tim the dim now this clown. Really, Wynne is such a total fuck up that my dog could run against her and win.
commented 2017-05-31 13:36:08 -0400
The fix is already baked in the cake… Whoever the foreign money wants to win this election will win this election.!!
It doesn’t matter who votes it only matters who counts the votes.!!

Patrick is definitely the problem. He’s not conservative at all.

It sounds as if Ontario gets to flip a wooden nickel next election.

McLaren, of sexual misconduct and fake testimonial fame? I doubt anybody is worried.
commented 2017-05-31 12:34:09 -0400
Brown can’t fix the PCs because he is the problem, a CINO. The grassroots members need to step up. Start by stop sending the PC party donations and tell them why.

Brian Lilley, excellent report. I couldn’t agree more. Patrick Brown has a lot of work to do, and, I hope he recognizes the precarious position he is putting the Provincial Conservatives in.
