Derek Fildebrandt: Jason Kenney imposes "Trudeau-style gender quotas" on the UCP

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, Alberta MLA Derek Fildebrandt joined me to discuss his concerns with Jason Kenney's leadership of the United Conservative Party.

When Notley's NDP voted to implement a "safe space" zone around abortion clinics, where pro-life protests are forbidden, Fildebrandt was the only conservative who remained in opposition after Kenney forced his UCP MLAs to leave the legislature and avoid a controversial vote.

Fildebrant claims that when he tried to run for the UCP nomination in a riding with a female UCP incumbent, his nomination was blocked by Kenney because he didn't like the optics of a "bearded, blonde, redneck" defeating one of their only female MLAs.

Fildebrandt described this as a "Trudeau-style gender quota".

However we are getting off topic… Derek Fildebrandt would be the best man for the job … A geologist and a climate change denier sets him apart from career politicians who need to press the flesh to stay employed .!!!

Tourism in Toronto… Are you kidding me… What is there to see asphalt, concrete and ghettos ..!! You can go to any big city and see that… How about mountains with glacier run off water that is so cold when you drink it you get a brain freeze or wild trout fishing in a boreal mountain streamand so much much much much more.. there is also many attractions to see in Ontario including the Great Lakes and beautiful watersheds in northern Ontario… I’ve been to southern Ontario and it looks like a squished turd . The only thing there is Niagara Falls but that’s ruined by the piece of asswipe called Niagara town . Another cheesy carnival like town who’s main source of income is fleesing the dollars out of people who came from other places to visit their family and was forced to endure that place by well-meaning relatives . Lots of Islam there now .!!

Jack Carter i don’t count forced plane stops as tourism LMAO! You do realize many people take a detour down to the US to not drive through Ontario RIGHT?

Jack Carter LMAO! Yeah sure. Now go bend over like the rest of the East. Pussies are people who need big government and welfare. That is the East. Toronto is a shithole.

Oh, I have, CANADIAN PATRIOT. You reinforce my point: the great malignancy across this Country is urbanization. Our cities suck out the need for self-sufficiency from people. So if you already have an entity taking care of your transportation, water, and sewer – and you’re okay with that – you might just vote to have your arse wiped as well.

The New York of Canada – Toronto, a world class city and pretty much the only part of Canada anyone gives a shit about outside of Canada like tourists will be just fine without Alberta one way or the other.

Oh, I see Drive-By_Jack is going into vulgarian mode again. Time for another name change.

The only people who care about TO are the people from TO. You still haven’t explained how the ROC is going to get along without their welfare cheques from the colonies.

But that’s only part of the story. The other side is the increasing reluctance of the victims of Big Government – small businesses and rural folk – to take any constructive action. It is unfortunate that social media came along to provide a surrogacy for meaningful action just when protest/civil disobedience was needed most.

Farming, ranching, oil, logging, small enterprise, you name it – all of Alberta’s private sector has been treated like absolute shit by both the provincial and federal politicians, but all I hear is whimpering and “poor us”.

If Albertans had balls, downtown Edmonton would have been brought to a standstill long ago.

William Kay,

You say that you are a Western Canada separatist. Do you say that with the knowledge that Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba (assuming they want to join Alberta) would die essentially if they separated from Canada. British Columbia certainly isn’t going to join you.

I think people are looking to separate – never really think things through and see what actual negative impact it would have if say Alberta is all of a sudden it’s own country.
________________________________________________________________________________

It is the ROC who would be screwed since they would no longer be able to live off the welfare that Alberta has provided for decades. Quebec and Ontariowe are pathetic shadows of their former selves. The Maritimes have been living off the largesse of the taxpayer (i.e. Alberta) for decades as well.BC’s movie industry would grind to a halt with no Alberta oil. I guess they could always build a pipeline from the US or have tankers bring it in form elsewhere to show off their green hypocrisy.

You need to look at the economic reality. Not the fantasy world you leftists are so fond of.

CANADIAN PATRIOT….your post of 7 hrs. ago is SO true. Big city Canada looking a lot like big city Europe in turn looking a lot like Mogadishu or most other shit hole 3rd world cities. People running around wearing a sack from head to toe and the constant threat of violence. You nail it on the head comparing Fildebrandt’s indiscretions to those of Traitor n Chief Trudeau. That bastard is now working overtime setting up the rigging of the 2019 federal election…right before our eyes…kudos to cbc and all of msm including 90% of print media, well done you crooked liberal lap dogs.

While I am on all things Canadian, does any know what has become of CANADIAN MONGREL?

Canadian Patriot,
Exactly. I am in ONtario and I can assure you there are more foreigners/muslim ghettos here and growing by the minute via our tax dollars and their propensity to breed, breed, breed. They have their own little countries all across Canada with their own representatives in our governments, serving them but the bigger issue is, WE CANADIANS PAY ALL THE BILLS – OR AT LEAST THE MAJORITY , YET THERE IS NO ONE WORKING FOR US OR CANADA!
As for trudeau, yet another reason CANADIANS LIVES ARE INCREASINGLY IN PERIL AND IF THEY DON’T SNAP THE HELL OUT OF THEIR POLITICAL CORRECTNESS, LIBERAL COMAS , THERE ISN’T GOING TO BE ANYTHING LEFT TO FIGHT OR LIVE FOR- WHERE WE ARE CONCERNED.
Read this:/2018/05/11/an-isis-fighter-who-told-media-he-executed-people-is-living-in-toronto-so-why-hasnt-the-trudeau-government-dealt-with-him/
It no longer is SAFE IN CANADA AND IT ALL CAN BE PLACED AT TRUDEAUS FEET ALONG WITH THOSE WHO CONTINUE TO SUPPORT HIM!
I believe he will get in again in 2019 because HE IS RIGGING THE ELECTION, BREAKING /RE-WRITING AND WRITING NEW , LAWS TO ENSURE HE CANNOT EVER BE VOTED OUT! HE MUST BE BROUGHT DOWN NOW OTHERWISE THERE IS NO HOPE FOR CANADA OR WHAT IS LEFT OF WE CANADIANS!
TRUDEAU IS A TERRORIST MINDED PSYCHOPATH AND SO INCREDIBLY SELF-CENTERED HE WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES FOR HIS THRONE AT THE U.N. AND IF THAT MEANS THE SLAUGHTER OF CANADIANS, SO BEIT!
WE HAVE NO ONE IN ANY GOVERNMENT, POLITICAL PARTY WHO GIVES A DAMN ABOUT CANADA AND WE ARE NOW AT THE POINT WHERE CANADA AS A NATION , NO LONGER EXISTS BUT RATHER IN NAME ONLY. WE COULDN’T POSSIBLY BE ANY WORSE OFF IF WE HAD NO GOVERNMENTS AT ALL! THEY ARE ALL DESPICABLE, LYING, THIEVING, ANTI CANADIAN, RACIST, SELF SERVING DICTATORIAL CONTROL FREAKS ALL OUT FOR THEMSELVES ONLY!
Personally, I am now at the point where I truly hope the first BOMB THAT GOES OFF HERE IN CANUKISTAN, IS ON PARLIAMENT HILL WITH THEM ALL IN SESSION-ESPECIALLY TRUDEAU AND HIS MERRY BAND OF TERRORISTS- INCLUDING BUTTS! PURE EVIL!

Jack Carter… What billions of dollars are you talking about.?? Movies that are shot in the province very little of that money finds its way to working class peoples pockets and it’s really not steady enough that it makes much of a big deal in the province … it’s all hollow prestige . Besides the new Western alliance would be much better off without the lower mainland anyway… All the fruits and nuts and alphabet soup crew call the lower mainland home . We’ll have a survey crew paid for by the Alberta oilsands to come out and geographically mark out the lower mainland isolating the nut cases who wish to remain loyal to Trudeau and the environmental terrorists. They could no longer speak to or have influence over a part of the province that they have probably never seen and the rest of the province will benefit from common sense free marketing .

Good to see there are still some right wing politicians that are not completely useless.

I somehow doubt that Kenney will be returning to the rebel. Not a big loss.

Jack Carter depends which areas of BC. Go more to the interior and North and you will see a different mentality. Last few times i worked there the local papers were always condemning the carbon tax and the damage from the Pine Beetle fiasco was not seen by some parts of BC , that was a huge government enviro fail. Talking to some forestry workers that were clearing the Pine Trees in the area at the time , they were pretty damn pissed off about the green lunacy. Also i must add that Alberta has far stricter environmental regulations when it came to Pipelines, we did stuff in BC that would have gotten you crucified and the job shut down in Alberta.

James MacMaster, take a good look at Alberta’s electoral map of 2015. The NDP, like Nenshi and Trudeau, were elected by the same magical 39%, in ridings populated by foreign workers and Muslim “New Canadians”. Visit these ridings…they are riddled with affordable government housing and people who wouldn’t comprehend Constitutional democracy if it bit them in the ass.

Jim Hoover, Trudeau has violated the Canadian Constitution and Criminal Code via rewarding convicted terrorists with $40.8 million and pledging additional hundreds of millions to militant Islamic States with your tax dollars. If you think Derek Fildebrant subletting some apartment is more diabolical than Trudeau treasonously mismanaging Canadian tax payers’ dollars, you need therapy.

Jack Carter: too much to talk about here. I will focus on your statement that BC would never want out of Canada. I lived in BC for 20 years. Don’t judge a population by its current colonial political bosses. Three quarters of BC is “unceded” territory, unlike the prairies which were unequivocally surrendered. Ottawa’s master plan is to convert BC into an Aboriginal supremacist apartheid nightmare. Aboriginals claim all the real estate in the lower mainland! There demand a veto on all resource and construction projects. This is racist and anti-democratic. The only way out is separation. There is a volcanic eruption smouldering in BC.

“No parties would want him because he is a loose cannon”… No I think it’s no parties want him because he can’t be controlled by them… He is a much better leader than a follower anyway. Statesman like Mr. Fildebrandt are destined to be natural born leaders and protectors of the liberties for the constituents that would put him in a position of authority . His unblemished record will stand for itself when the time is right .!!

Well done Derek… Get out there and keep all that foreskin schmuck on their toes .. Your unblemished political record will speak for itself when Western Canada needs to form an alliance strictly for survival .

Statesman like Derek would bring a second amendment to banana republic’s like Canada and freedom from the oppression of globalist rulers .

I am disappointed to see The Rebel give Filderbrandt this publicity. This guy brought disgrace to himself and to his party with his unethical behavior. I suggest he move on and stop trying to whine his way back into favor. He is a “loose cannon” and no party would want him as you never know what nonsense is going to come out of his mouth next.

Would be interesting to see Fildebrandt throw caution to the wind and start a REAL grassroots conservative party (running only in ridings where the NDP are not likely to come up the middle). His main party planks could be:
Sovereignty association
Freedom of speech in caucus
Meritocracy
Limited abortion debate (no 3rd trimester abortions, though it wouldn’t be a crime, only not funded by gov’t and officially denounced)
And otherwise similar policies held by UCP, such as no carbon tax, reversing many NDP social doctrines, etc.

Jack Carter….if Ab,Sask and Man did manage to put together a tidy little republic, your stubborn BC would find themselves an isolated island off in the hinterland with the nearest liberal relief back in Ontario. The plot would thicken if the Yukon joined the new Republic and came along for the ride. Maybe Brad Wall could be our first PM. I’m starting to like this possibility.

TOLD YOU THEY ARE ALL THE SAME! NONE GIVE A GOOD G.D. ABOUT CANADA OR WE CANADIANS SO STOP PAYING THEIR SALARIES BY NOT PAYING ANY MORE TAXES UNTIL THEY ALL FALL AND THAT SHOULD NOT TAKE MORE THAN A FEW DAYS

You’re always telling us not to pay taxes. Explain to me how we avoid paying taxes? I don’t know about you but I actually have a job and my employer deducts my taxes right off my pay cheque.
