Desjardins bows to anti-Canadian activists

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

Canadian financial Giant, Desjardins is considering withholding financing for the Transmountain pipeline project.

But it’s not just Transmountain that Desjardins is rethinking.

The credit union and insurance conglomerate are contemplating not financing any oil and gas projects altogether — but for SJW reasons.

Desjardins cited their concerns about the impacts of energy projects on the environment as the reasons they may not finance energy projects going forward

Greenpeace is celebrating Desjardins, but chances are good that not too many dirty, borderline employable Greenpeace supporters have large holdings in Canadian banks.

Desjardins is largely QC based, so some of this anti-oil madness is predictable.

But what about Desjardins’ 500,000 western Canadian customers?

Desjardins is making their final decision about fossil fuel financing by the end of the year, so if you are a Desjardins customer, now is the time to let them know.

Tell this Canadian company to stop bowing to anti-Canadian activists, and stand up for their Canadian customers and for all Canadian jobs.

Boy, that social license Albertans are paying through the nose for via the carbon tax extortion has sure been effective. The B/C government elect is going to stop Trans-mountain and Desjardin is not going to finance Alberta pipeline infrastructure. Yep, glad we have a social license to get those pipelines built.

Mind you, a provincial government that stands up for the welfare of its electorate would be infinitely more preferable to social license.

Do the Saudis own them like Citibank?

Screw Desjardins. This is an opportunity for another financial institution. Who ever jumps in would have huge support. There are more people who want to work and see the country prosper than those with their heads up their arses.

This PQ-based credit union is a globalist climber seeking admittance to the inner circle of transnational corporatism by embracing their globalist agenda 21 themes. They are a small financial presence in the west and particularly Alberta as much of their investment is in Hibernia Oil production.
