REVEALED: The election's "invisible winners"

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Justin Trudeau won big last night.

But aside from Justin and the individual Liberal candidates, who are the big winners?

Here's my first attempt at a list which includes the less obvious winners who will be very happy that their guy won because now he can return those favours.

39.5% of voters gave Justin Trudeau's Liberals a big win but a lot more people will be celebrating today.

I actually feel bad for the man. Imagine being raised by a bi polar mother and wreck less father. Don’t think he should have been voted in as boss but I don’t dislike the man. The way he displays himself tells me there are some serious issues with him. Too bad he will be used as a marionette.

I am part of the 61% of the people who DID NOT vote for them.

turning the economy around on a dime… not a bad idea… if you’ve got a poor economy. WHAT THE HELL IS JUSTY THINKING???

You forgot one of the big winners is Liberal party CFO Chuck Rifici. He was the CEO of Tweed a medical pot company that bought the chocolate factory in Smith Falls and turned it into a pot factory. He owns a 20% stake in Tweed, now known as Canopy Growth Corp although he did step down as CEO and resigned from the Board of Directors. Its up 7.5% today on the TSX venture. On 10 Aug 2015 he was appointed to the board of directors of Aurora Cannabis Inc on the Montreal exchange. One wonders how many other liberal insiders have stakes in the Pot business. This is a lot like the Liberal insiders that got into the wind and solar business in Ontario when the Green Energy act was brought in by Mcsquinty. They made a bundle of cash on those deals.

You said never actually explained how Harper was racist.

Why do people like yousa always hide behind a keyboard, oh yeah the left is full of cowards LMAO

‘Yousa’ let the cat out of the bag… the watermelon fascists expect Justin to finish the job of stripping conservatives of their Charter right to freedom of speech. They will want to define every form of conservative opinion as ‘hate speech’, beyond what they already have. Will he do it? Or is there enough of his father in him to resist that temptation?

You see, Justin, your father was a real liberal. He believed in freedom of speech for everyone. Do you? I hope so.

“Have a little respect for what these people do.” I absolutely agree, Thomas, and I know most other commenters here do also, which is why a lot of our comments are seriously oriented to the subject matter at hand. But lighten up a bit, huh? Okay, you’re bummed on account of the mess that Canada is in now, with Gerald Butts (oops, I mean Junior Trudeau) becoming Prime Minister. We all are (except for Jimmy and Terry, of course). But we have to keep a sense of humor as we fight to keep Canada free and prosperous, uphill battle thought that is at the moment. Capiche?

You know what? Screw everyone who turned TheRebel comment section into a YouTube war. Every DAMN great article I read on this site is polluted by morons personally insulting each other through comments that have nothing to do with the actual subject matter. GROW THE HELL UP. If a Liberal commenter some how finds their way here and makes a dumb comment, its not your responsibility to tell them they’re dumb! They can find that out on their own just ignore it! I usually go to comments to see a practical review of someone else’s opinion on the writer’s position. Now’s its all “Bigot’s” “cowards” “bedwetter’s” its like 1922 Russian politics! Just… if you’re going to make a comment, PLEASE don’t let it just be a response to someone else’s? Have a little respect for what these people do.

They complained about a dictator but the election is just a demonstration of the new and true dictator. Now he has crazy power and didn’t have that many of the votes. Didn’t I hear the libs complain about that? This is a sham.
commented 2015-10-20 20:36:12 -0400
The truth is that at least half of those who voted do not vote Liberal.
Don’t believe for a moment that the majority of Canadians will like what Trudeau is up to once things become increasingly apparent.
We must never shut up and never give in.

Lefties truly are a stupid bunch of dickheads, I mean how much more stupid than voting for an empty airhead, part-time drama teacher, ski instructor babbling fool for PM. And a stupid brain dead dickhead that calls himself Yousa Kamadick as if anyone on the Rebel would not know the real meaning. Go back to your hole and join your friend Jimmy, I’m sure he will. You filthy pig.

Popular vote – Trudeau elected on less numbers than Harpers last victory!

Quote – One of the quirks of Canada’s first-past-the-post electoral system is that a party can take the majority of seats without winning a majority of votes. That was certainly the case in 2011, when the Conservatives won 166 of 308 seats — or 53.9 per cent — but only 39.6 per cent of the popular vote.

In terms of the ratios, the 2015 story is almost identical. Justin Trudeau and the Liberals took 184 seats — 54.4 per cent of the new total of 338 seats — with 39.5 per cent of the popular vote. – End quote

See cbc url where they state this:

It is cbc so it MUST be true!

You, you are a bedwetter too. Bottom feeder, coward lefty. Big mouthy man now.

Trudeau will get his money from Saudi Arabia. The interest to be paid, will be Canada.
commented 2015-10-20 19:21:32 -0400
We’ll see what happens to the economy now. Trudeau’s plan to borrow 30 billion over 4 years will cause the debt to increase. The GDP to debt ratio will increase and Canada’s triple A rating will be downgraded. And then the CBC leading the main stream media will blame Harper for it.
commented 2015-10-20 19:13:18 -0400
Yousa Kamadick said, “Maybe now the left can pass a law to shut you guys up”

That would be consistent with the left’s concept of “Free Speech”, which is, “Free speech for me but not for thee.”
commented 2015-10-20 19:12:42 -0400
Hey, You-saka-ma-dick . . . Liberals had their first scandal before even being elected with the backroom adviser lobbying for an oil co. and had to resign. How many scandals do you think they’ll rack up in 4yrs???
commented 2015-10-20 19:12:11 -0400
We have just lost one of the best Prime Ministers Canada has ever had. The Left is doing their rejoicing now but in the not too distant future their joy will turn to despair when they find out all is not going well with the country. It will be a bitter pill to swallow when they find out they have been hoodwinked . I will bet that within 2 years or less they will be wishing they had Harper and the Conservatives back
commented 2015-10-20 19:02:33 -0400
Good grief Charlie Brown, Jimmy dd Silva has found a friend here named Yousa Kamadick

I believe you are right about the NSM beneficiaries of the next Librano brokerage kleptocracy Ezra – a factual information blackout will descend on us with the open neutralizing of media objectivity- but for the already blind this will be no noticeable change to the factual darkness they live in anyway. Obviously the first thing a despotism must do is control public information flow and the mass media narrative – the Libranos rev. 2.0 just bought a large chunk of it and CBC will become an Ottawa based Pravda.

Don’t know how successful this spend and tax kakistocracy will be but already I see the productive sector adopting a John Galt strategy rather than a Stockholm syndrome strategy – we shall see if they can keep up the cost of propaganda when they hit a zero cash flow situation.

Near racist policies huh? Say You-sa – tell us what you think of the article by Montreal Journal, brought to us by Ezra, that reveals the woman in the Niqab fight is linked to terrorist organizations? Is MJ just making it up?
ISIS is this gen’s Hitler, and if you know anything, you’d know the Niqab is their version of the Swastika. Here, maybe you should try reading some books; The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam, God is Not Great and Delectable Lie should get you started. Common back after you’ve read them.

You saka ma dick?? OHHHHH looky everyone, we got us a HUGE Lefty redneck to poke fun at. Hey You-sa, what grade are you in??

It’s been almost a whole 24 hours since the Liberals won their majority – the sky hasn’t fallen yet.
commented 2015-10-20 18:39:20 -0400
only the elites of the left will be able to enjoy the trough that will be coming…as time pushes on those poor maritimers who are rubbing their hands with the belief things can only get better for them, will find that it may just never change, just like the past, not until they themselves change, gov’t is not the answer, never has and never will…
commented 2015-10-20 18:38:55 -0400
Who prorogued parliament twice? Harper. Who tried to win an election based on near racist & hateful policies? Harper. Who was held in contempt of parliament? Harper. Add that to the ethics commissioner going to jail, Duffy, Wallin & all the other secretive deals done in the most secretive government – you have zero room to talk. Get a life. It will take this country 25 years to overcome the hatred & divisive policies put in place by people like yourselves.
commented 2015-10-20 18:36:17 -0400
Yousa, you have no cause to call as racists. Based on what?
