Does Donald Trump have a secret crush on Megyn Kelly? Watch him tell her “I could never beat you” back in 2011

StaffRebel Columnist

Donald Trump may have been choking on some humility throughout the campaign.

The Republican presidential front-runner has boycotted the January 28 debate on Fox News because Megyn Kelly would be moderating.

Trump has sparred with Kelly before, taking shots with her in interviews and on social media.

His most recent was posted to Facebook today. He said, “I refuse to call Megyn Kelly a bimbo, because that would not be politically correct. Instead I will only call her a lightweight reporter!”

Now, a 2011 interview between Trump and Kelly has surfaced. Back then, he was thinking of moderating a Newsmax debate. He claimed that he “knew the issues better than most.”

Kelly asked him, “Do you really think you’re a better moderator than I am?”

He responded, “No, I could never beat you. That wouldn’t even be close. That would be no contest. You have done a great job, by the way, and I mean it.”

If he still feels this way about her, it's tough to tell. Too many negs, not enough game.

As a post-mortem I don’t think the debate suffered at all with the The Donald not being there and quite a few candidates scored nice points.. Ironically, it was the “junior” rank GOP debate that had Carly Fiorina skewering Hillary Rodham Clinton as she has never been flamed before… Nicely done!….

Megyn has proven herself little more than the mouthpiece for the official ownership of Fox News, which is run by Karl Rover RINOs. She has shown herself over and over as hostile to real conservatives.

First very revealing stumble by The Donald as the voters of Iowa will demonstrate next week… Stay tuned… Meanwhile, those remaining on the debate stage will focus the minds of American voters as to who should really occupy the oval office….

This hit piece by Megyn Kelly is proof she was biased and intended to slander him by trying to direct a response instead of asking a question. Typical Lefty Hack move.

Who wrote this crap? “Rebel Staff” … you SUCK. This isn’t about Megyn Kelly. This is Trump showing that he is in charge, that he is the alpha male, and that Megyn Kelly is irrelevant. The tidal wave of tingles that Megyn Kellly feels for Trump right now could drown Japan. Smarten up. The Rebel is better than this.

Good for you Donald. A man of principle not letting a bias news media Corporation push you around.

I would not talk to her either. I don’t like her, but my reasons have nothing to do with Trump.

The Donald taps a lot younger and a lot better looking than Megyn.

Do you know why FOX NEWS is upset with Trump’s withdrawal from just another boring debate it’s because of ratings. Who wants to hear from a bunch losers. If any of the other’s had done halve as much as Donald they would be interesting. Trump wants to build the economy while Cruse voted for the TPP that will destroy the U.S. economy

One has to admire Donald Trumps’ candor. The US could do worse for President, such as Hillary “I am a criminal” Clinton. So far Trump is not a criminal, just loud and obnoxious … something the US needs at this time.
