Slate magazine is insinuating that Dolly Parton is a racist ,because her quaint rural Tennessee dinner theatre features a Civil War theme.
The Slate writer went looking for any excuse to be outraged and she found one at Dolly’s Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
This uppity blogger complains non-stop about the kitschiness of the surroundings, the hokeyness of the songs, the lack of liquor service, the sweetness of the lemonade and the fact that the theatre had taken creative liberties with history.
Apparently our moral superiors on the left can’t tell the difference between a dinner theatre featuring trick riding, and a historic documentary.
Now, you might not like Dolly’s music. You might find her a little over the top.
But I love her for more than just her music. She is a philanthropic force of nature and once you learn a little more about Dolly, you’ll understand why the left is turning on her.
Watch my video to see why Dolly Parton is the hero we need today!
This isn't about Confederate statues and it never was.
It's about forcing conservatives to move the front line of the culture war, the class war, closer to themselves.
Conservatives shrugged when Confederate statues and names were being attacked and so the enemy advanced.
Now the front line is Dolly Parton, of all people.
And if they can come for Dolly after all she's done and is doing, they can come for anybody, for any reason.
