Don't listen to Media Party: Canadians are united -- not divided -- on niqab, citizenship

Holly NicholasRebel Commentator

Canadians are tired of this election and here’s why – the media bias and hatred toward Harper is so strong that it’s causing people to tune out.

Last night, CTV aired a story on the CPC proposal to ban the Niqab in public service. They went as far as stating that Prime Minister Harper is playing into the divisive and ugly side of politics for people that don’t like multiculturalism. How’s that for greasy media coverage?

But the truth is that Canadians are united on issues like Bill C-24 and the Niqab – polls solidify this and the CBC’s own data shows that 72% of Canadians disagree with wearing a face covering in the oath ceremony.

However, the shoddy coverage by the media is starting to backfire and polls, plus seat projections are showing this.

Good point Alain… A lot of “Canadian journalists” are by now desperately hoping that their collective hatchet job on Harper in recent months comes to fruition on election night… Otherwise they are going to have some deep-shit, tap-dancing “explaining” to do in the coming years… As will certain pollsters… The same is very true in Washington; that come Inaugural Day in January 2017, a lot of Obama’s butt-kissers, and even military brass, are going to be cleaning out their desks and trying to find a nice, quiet, “no address” cottage in the Florida Keys… One can only hope and pray…

On the topic of biased, unprofessional Journalism prevalent in the Comments below, here’s an amusing, if not pathetic example of a Liberal newspaper that almost shot itself in the foot. A former classmate from Ontario who now resides in Manitoba sent me her notes (and a chuckle) regarding a city newspaper almost too clever for its own Harper-Hating good. I’ll let you interpret what this example really reveals. See: https://evelins.sharefile.com/d-s83deebfca4c46a3a

Are Canadians really united on the citizenship question? In the main stream media hardly a peep about the threat posed by Danish “cultural” practices, even though they have been well documented here and pose a risk to all Canadians. With 200,000 people in Canada claiming Danish background it is hardly a trivial matter.
If we are all agreed that these so-called “cultural” practices are barbaric, is it not time to decide whose citizenship gets revoked? Or are we to wait until more people end up looking like Chris Alexander?

So Tru-adeau and Muc-air would have us warming our hearts to the culture of Islam, the religion of peace. Wait until these two clowns feel that K-Bar slicing through their Jugulars.
Multiculturalism is the same as Islamophobia, a myth. You want to come to Canada, be prepared to become civilized, the same as Canadians are. Act like human beings.

I voted in the advanced polls tonight, on my way home from work. It was steady, and that’s a good sign. The only poll that matters is the one on election night!

It’s getting to be somewhat unnerving just how important the outcome of this election has become today, on 2015 planet Earth.
The traumatizing effect of the murder of SNN by the embedded Liberal bureaucrats at the CRTC will be like nothing to the order of magnitude of fear and blackness generated if the socialists or the communists get ‘elected’. We will face certain doom…
I was considering buying a cheap Crappy Tire tent, with No-see-um netting and wearing it to my polling station to exercise my franchise after I watch the Menzoid video first and pick up some tips, but the oppressive pall generated by the collusionists at the Media Party of the threat of Harper not winning another majority and what would be unleashed upon us in his stead…I just hope I can find the wherewithal to even get to the polling station in ten days.

Once again I feel my blood boiling at the shenanigans of so-called “news” media and their talking head pundits. As the rage builds within me, I remember to take my blood pressure medication as I struggle to remain composed by reassuring myself that, as a conservative, I’m better than this.
I remember that the goal of the media (aside from the one that’s on welfare) is to make profit. Making profit is dependent on advertising revenue and advertising revenue is dependent on ratings. It’s understandable therefore, in order to maximize ratings; any of the mainstream media organizations will make a business decision and choose which half of the population will be the easiest to string along. Will it be the sensible, clear-headed, independent thinking, freedom loving folks on the right? Or would it be the half-baked, confused, dependent and needy, pinko-commie liberals on the left?
I liken the media to the entertaining hypnotist, searching the audience for subjects who can be the most easily induced into a trance by way of their weak, feeble minds, turned into brain dead zombies by the hypnotist, chanting their mantra; hope for change, time for change, change for hope, . . .

I know that the MSM is stirring this problem of the face covering and keeping it alive. BUT do not forget the asshole Judges that brought this to the forefront and fcking Justie and Mulcair keeping it there along side the MSM. ALL of them are going against the majority of Canadians.
What we as Canadians want and feel is right, does not matter anymore to the JERKS we have presiding in our courts, from the lowest municipal court to the highest. What a travesty of so called justice.

Man oh man! I have never in my life hated a person as much as I hate Justin fckng Turdeau. He is such a weasel and a liar. This prck will say anything about our PM Mr. Harper just to get elected. I don’t usually wish evil on anybody, but in his case I wish I had the power and the means to send this POS to Syria and be done with him. Mulcair would follow.

John O’Neill Can’t wait for the whole city of Toronto, the whole country, to be walking around in the veil of deception. That’s what the Media Party wants so give it to them. Start a “wear a mask when voting” campaign. I watched the David Menzies video and it took over 26 minutes to finalize his vote in the niqab. Hell… you’d only need 100 niqab voters in a row at each poling station to shut the whole dam system down. FANTASTIC!

So the Media Party pushes the problem so much they want you to ignore the niqab, forget it, get sick of it to the point it’s normalized. Then it will be an everyday thing. Reminds me of the G20 raids of the police wearing their face masks… their niqabs. Let’s all start wearing them so nobody knows who they’re talking to. Let the cops deal with that.

Have every child wear them to school so the teachers don’t know who’s who at attendance time. School Bus Drivers won’t know who’s getting on or off the bus.

I suggest total overkill on it. Make it a message of a non-message. Make a mockery of it. Why not give them what they want to the power of 10! It all adds up to me.

ctv is pretty much a justin love in totally anti harper and pretty much not trust worthy reporting any news. I agree i tuned out long ago and will vote for the cons. They lame stream media can spin the polls anyway they like canadians are tired opf the endless BS they spout. One drop of oil spilt in alberta and the panic starts, Victoria and montreal dumping raw sewage and nothing to see here folks look the other way. They are pathetic. Thankfully the rebel is here and at least someone has the spine to ask the hard questions.

Yesterday on CPAC a CTV Liberal-vision reporter (?)in a question to their “boy”, stated as if it was a fact, that there is some support in Quebec for the ban, but little to none in the rest of the Country and would Trudeau comment. An outright lie from the reporter (?) to which Trudeau replied, the Liberal party of Canada believes, blah, blah, blah, god given right, blah, blah, Harpers fault, blah, blah, blah, whatever Gerald Butts told me say.

In my opinion much of the anti-Harper sentiment coming into our homes through the lefty news is being led by the CBC who feel threatened by slashes to their funding and fear their jig is up.

I get so tired of hearing the sell out politicians chastise Harper for creating fear and division. when in fact they are the ones who are creating the fear of Harper and treating anyone who disagrees with them as the ones who are dividing. So typical of power abusers to blame someone for noticing a problem as causing the problem. True unity does not come from trying to force a false unity upon us by pretending problems do not exist and failure to address real problems will only cause deeper division down the road and demonizing people simply because they have security concerns is not the way to create unity.

I had already tuned out of most news media outlets a few years ago because they don’t talk to— and for me. One of the outlets I had tolerated until recently, the National Post, is also veering leftward in their “reporting”/opinion (has anyone else been bothered by this?). So I haven’t been at the National Post for a couple of weeks now, and have no intention of going back anytime soon. The Rebel and The Wall Street Journal, with frequent peeks at Reuters and CNBC (financial), is all I can tolerate now.

Good Job, Holly
I was talking to a couple people yesterday on the street who were suffering from Harper Derangement Syndrome and Anything But Conservative pathology. I asked them some questions about why Harper is bad and they could not think of anything at first then could only come up with Duffy!
I asked if they owned a company and had a good employee who was charged with shoplifting but had repaid the store, should they be held responsible? Answer : … crickets … Ummm … I don’t know.
Then I asked why they blame Harper for what Duffy did considering it had been standard practice by Liberals for decades but was ignored? Answer : … crickets … Umm … I suppose that makes more sense … crickets … Your right, maybe I should vote for Harper, I do agree with most of what he is doing.
Ask questions and inform people what the Media Party will not. Most people are not stupid, they are just misled by the Media Party. Help them, don’t berate them or dismiss them because that will just drive their HDS or ABC pathology.

One additional item – I know I am living in the country – however the comment in the article about – “Canadians are tired of this election and here’s why – the media bias and hatred toward Harper is so strong that it’s causing people to tune out.” – is very true.

That information flow is also driving most of the people I know to go with Harper.

If he gets in – and I hope he does – I will personally send a written letter to the editors in chief of the main news networks in Canada thanking them for their vitriol, their agenda driven and their prejudiced reporting – which powered Harper into the PM seat – proving they are out of touch with “old stock” Canadians.

Time will tell – voting in the advanced poll today.

I have visited at least 10 farms in the past week while hauling hay – I would make a point of bringing this issue up.

Seems like we are all in agreement despite the lies the media party spews.

Couldn’t agree more, Vlad, especially about the cable TV. I haven’t had cable or any other version of TV since 2006.

Disconnected my cable years ago – Canadian MSM/media party news is pure shit. MSM are condescending fucks in how they dialogue and push socialists agendas.

Pick up an HDTV antenna (about $50) and drop your $100 per month cable bill. It works extremely well.

Hook up your TV to the internet and enjoy more than you get from shitbag cable.

Nice to see a new face, Holly! Good report.

It is actually the Liberals and the NDP that are creating the rift between Canadians, not Harper. They make divisive comments and then blame it on Harper and the main stream media is delighted to continue making the division and then blaming it on Harper.

I have never seen such a thing like this “Harper Derangement Syndrome” occur at any other time in history. The hatred against Harper is unnatural and so extremely excessive as to far outstrip any common sense.

And even with all this hatred, this Harper Derangement Syndrome, Harper is still polling first in many polls, and a close second in other polls. So if we are to assume that this crusade the MSM has against Harper has some affect on the general population of Canadians, then if they were not crusading against Harper then he would walk away with a solid majority. As it is he still might get a majority or at least a strong minority.

Good stuff Holly. Its going to blow up in Justin’s face and its going to blow up in Tom’s face, and just in time. Keep up exposing the mainstream media for the liars that they are. The left say Harper is fear mongering when fear mongering is the entire modus operandi of the left. These two politicians, Trudeau and Mulcair, and their puppets, the main stream media, are the ones who are dividing Canadians. They couldn’t be more divisive if they tried. They insult the intelligence of Canadians.
commented 2015-10-09 09:43:59 -0400
The only one stirring up crap are the socialists, who in their right mind thinks that minimizing woman is a good thing in Canada. Why do socialists want to continue to use the “divisive” comment when immigrants that were not even born in Canada agree with this. This is where the problem lies, socialist is another word for communist, so when the majority agrees the communist will disagree because they feel the minority should rule and with an iron fist. Look through out history and you will see that socialist/communist governments are tyrannical and far from democratic.
