Doug Ford's enemies: Bureaucrats and the media

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, Sun columnist Anthony Furey joined me to discuss the greatest risks to Ontario Premier-designate Doug Ford.

Anthony thinks it's fighting government inertia, bureaucrats aren't interested in cutting government waste and will attempt to block Ford's campaign promise of 4 per cent cuts.

I think the media is Ford's biggest enemy. They lost their minds when he won the election and will now attempt to get into his head to subvert his agenda.

We all hate trudeau, jerk-off, fuck-wad that he is. Whats more to say? An enemy of all things Canadian!

Why all this fuss over 13,000 dairy farmers in the entire country, at the expense of the rest of Canadian, is is beyond me. As far as Ford is concerned, less than half that number are even in Ontario.

American subsidies are not off the table Andrew, because Trudeau and crew would not entertain Trumps suggestion of a truly open market of NO subsidies across the board. Why would the US take theirs off the table until Justin agreed to concessions, of no subsidies or at least balanced subsidies. Justin wouldn’t and ignored Trump withdrawing the sunset clause, and basically told Trump to fck off, just not to his face because Justin is a slimy scuz bag snivelling coward.

Andrew Stephenson Justin is defending a cabal that screws the dairy farmer and the consumer. "

Trump wants to screw dairy farmers. Removing American subsidies is not on the table.

Do you think that it’s fair for subsidized American farmers to undercut the Canadian industry? Do you think it’s reasonable that American milk contains more than a dollar of subsidy in every gallon?

Dear Ms. Stephenson, so:- “Yet, somehow, asking if it’s actually a good idea to deal with a crushing debt burden by reducing your ability to pay your bills,..” So you do admit there is a “crushing debt load”??? Wow!.. I must admit that is the first flicker of reality I have seen in any, any of your recent posts!…"

Doug ran on a fiscal platform (sort of… ), and it’s important to acknowledge that. I acknowledge the debt, and I acknowledge the irresponsibility of running deficits in a boom year late in the economic cycle when a near-term recession is a non-trivial risk. This applies to Trudeau as well as Wynne. However, Ford has not proven himself to be a solution to that particular problem – priority 1 should be running surpluses, if not actively paying down the debt at least stabilizing it so inflation can shrink it over time. Ford is moving in the opposite direction.

“As for the obvious priority of “pay your bills” might I suggest the wisdom found in that little homily that posits “If you are in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging!”… You just gotta love “the obvious”… But no?… "

So, how do you feel about Doug’s tax cuts, which will add billions to Ontario’s deficits since his proposed efficiencies are less than the cost of the tax cut, and don’t even begin to address the existing deficit?

Drew Wakariuk.. That’s as incredible as the Exploding Pineapple Corporation buying a dozen ads every night on FOX News, given that audience, magically hoping that “somebody” would really start watching them… A waste of thousands of dollars, over and over again…

Andrew Stephenson if CBC could not pay for favorable ad placement with tax money they would not be in first. Do i need to explain how the internet works to you?

Andrew the report is titled, Doug Ford’s enemies: Bureaucrats and the media.

The left are losing around the world….media is one of the very big reasons, msm lies to the public and people are waking up to this fact.
As you know, many people don’t like to fund the government’s propaganda bureau – CBC

Andrew, the link I posted directly speaks to why the left is losing, one big reason being msm. "

Don’t deflect.

Shall I point out that the CBC is the top rated news site in Canada, and the Rebel is literally thousands of places lower in the rankings?

After checking Doug’s Facebook and Twitter feeds, I would say about 90% of respondents are asking him NOT to support Trudeau in any trade escalation with the U.S. even though Doug is siding with Trudeau. Not sure who is advising Doug on these matters.”

Common sense. You don’t side with the guy screwing your constituents, a good number of whom are dairy farmers.

The Trump fans have some very misplaced priorities.

I wrote a few Conservative MP’s today regarding a non-confidence motion for Scheer as Conservative leader in August. Trudeau cannot and must not win in 2019. We need a leader to defeat him. Dr. Jordan Peterson for Conservative PM as last resort. Unless Stephen Harper makes a return but I think Harper has had enough and I do not blame him.
Most internet news on the Scheer/Bernier spat today is negative towards Scheer. The milk cartel in Quebec has to go if any fair trade deal is to be initiated with Trump. Trump’s style is to say something and then watch for what people say for a few days and then respond again. Scheer did ask Trudeau today in HoC about the supposed clause Trump offered. Trudeau gave only a non-answer. You can bet Trump gave Trudeau a deal. And Trudeau plays politics with people’s lives while his media state broadcaster CBC lies for him to the public just like they lie about Doug Ford and any moral/ Conservative/patriotic Canadian that does not fit their Leftist/post-modern narrative.

… Rebel should make it their great crusade to eliminate ALL media funding. It is an insult and and injustice that we are forced to finance any media.
… There is no need to attack the corrupt CBC. Simply, eliminate ALL media funding.

Yet, somehow, asking if it’s actually a good idea to deal with a crushing debt burden by reducing your ability to pay your bills, is waved off by the Rebel types as ’losing your mind".

Alternative Rebel response: personal attacks and/or ranting about Liberals!

Doug Ford will need to keep the main promise he made during his nomination bid to lead the PCParty.
He promised to LISTEN ,LISTEN to the people.
If he stays in Toronto and surrounds himself with a bunch of party hacks and governs through opinion polls and elite attitudes and advise ,he will fail.
I don’t agree with a darn thing the media spews each day. And there are lots of us outsude the GTA moat that share that opinion. Bypass the media ,the pundits and elites and do what is right for Ontario and the people .Ford Nation has grown to be Province wide and hopefully new policies will restore Ontario to a semblance of its glory days.

The corrupt left wing lame stream media has been the enemy of Canadians for years. They are in the business of covering up of the truth, and promoting cultural and economic Marxist propaganda. To which the overfed, bloated government bureaucracies have been some of the biggest beneficiary’s. While the private sector has labored like slaves to feed the beast, which includes the spacial rights and treatment groups. Ralph Klein knew how to deal with them, which is why he was so hated by them, and loved by the average working Joe.
