Doug Ford triggers ignorant pro-carbon tax mob

Keean BexteRebel Contributor

If you weren't able to make it to Jason Kenney and Doug Ford's rally to scrap the carbon tax, don’t worry, I got you covered! I was there and had the chance to talk to supporters and protesters alike.

The evening events started out with a gaggle of protesters who were gathered outside who were not entirely sure what it was they were protesting. They had one sign that said “No Kenney, No Ford, No Fascism, but even that was about as detailed as they got. So I started asking what they were protesting.

WATCH my video to see some of the crazy responses I heard from Alberta's radical left.

Leftism is a mental disorder. They think they can change the unchangeable. That’s insane.

Low IQ protesters are a dime a dozen – ask Tides Foundation and Open Society etc…

At 1:16, is that an actual life form? “ice bergs are melting” what a genius
The very thing they are supposed to do

Darn good question Ron. It would be a tell that told volumes.

“Let’s be pragmatic about this. Make carbon tax voluntary.”
Harold Hoff, I love it.

There is a media report that some attendees who were wearing MAGA hats were asked to remove them, is that true? And if so, who asked them to remove them?

Brainwashed idiots are easily triggered ,when the truth is told their minds cannot process it and the trigger is the reaction.

Almost as intelligent as the dimwits David interviews on the streets of Toronto. I would suggest a university education to enlighten them but I think that will just make the problem worse.

Sorry Keean, you got part of it wrong. When the event started the room was not packed. It was full. Fire regulations kept those of us who arrived “only” 10 minutes before the speech from entering.

We were told the room’s capacity was 1500 or 1600 including standing room, and there were at least a couple of hundred of us that couldn’t get in. There were plasma screens set up outside of the room (at least 3 of them) with groups gathered around each of them. There were some extra chairs that were immediately given to the oldest standees.

No signs were visible among the protesters when I arrived and there was no chanting or attempts to talk to/yell at us arrivals, but there was a visible police presence. In retrospect, the police being there was good for keeping the cars of the attendees from being vandalized. The protesters didn’t look like the sort of folks who respect private property.

Riveting speeches, but it wasn’t clear when everything wrapped up. I grabbed a couple of “scrap the carbon tax” stickers when I arrived, but gave one to a woman who arrived later than I had when the supplies had run out. A good Friday night. I’m glad to see the coverage of it.

Let’s be pragmatic about this. Make carbon tax voluntary.
Those who want to pay a carbon tax, then just send an extra 20% (or whatever number) of your income to the government, and those who don’t will abstain. But don’t built it into the cost of everything because ironically, it’s the people who want to pay it will be a victim of the employment loss and other negative consequences of it.

The stupid answers from the brain-dead protesters outside proves what sort of folks they are. We conservatives understand the real world so much better than those empty-headed dopes outside.

If we are to pay a carbon tax to save the earth why does China get a pass till 2030 ? One of the biggest economy and very large contribution to plastic in our oceans . India building coal fired generating plants and Liberals trying to kill jobs and bankrupt us with illegal immigration .PM Trudeau and vice PM Butt head must go .

Carbon Tax is in fact a big con job, compliments of Trudeau. In truth the money generated by the Carbon Tax is used to finance Islam, we who pay this tax are in fact financing our own deaths.
In the end Trudeau will have a higher death toll on his hands, than Adolph Hitler.

It’s the same thing every time there’s a lefty protest meet-up in Calgary’s Municipal Plaza.
Rebels without a clue.
