Ecofitt employees travel in style courtesy of Alberta taxpayers

Holly NicholasRebel Commentator

Last week I saw a new Nissan NV 200 van emblazoned with government decals and the Ecofitt logo. You may remember Ecofitt as the out of province company the NDP hired to install “free” lightbulbs at a cost of $21.5 million to Alberta taxpayers.

I’m sure the Notley NDP would like us to believe these vehicles are free but a base model is actually $25,000 and as we’ve already determined, there’s nothing “free” about this government program.

A review of Freedom of Information documents revealed that approximately $8 million of the $21.5 million was being spent on employee uniforms and a myriad of additional costs for recycling initiatives among other things.

Well, that $8 million includes costs for mileage, insurance and company vehicles.

One third of the total cost to run this program includes brand new vehicles.

We don’t know the total amount spent on vans and despite asking the Energy Ministry for the figure; they didn’t get back to me.

What I do know from reviewing the specs for these vehicles however, is that they aren’t electric which brings to mind the hypocrisy of this NDP government who suggested that all of us laggards should walk or take a bus rather than drive cars.

The NDP claim they created 70 jobs by implementing this program, but they’ve also created more greenhouse gas emissions by putting these new vehicles on the road, proving yet again, us laggards don’t hold a candle to these hypocrites and polluters.

I am surprised no rebel staff have tried to get themselves a light bulb.

But don’t forget, wasting these dollars on EcoFitt has helped give us Social License to build a pipeline to tide water. Just ask BC Premier Weaver, I mean Horgan, for a pipeline status report.

Let me change my last statement, some useful idiots think there are no elites , the rest are dumb and self centered enough to think they will be one of the elites.

Muta and Daryl you could put good money down that she will get a plum job from some crony who got rich from her raping our wallets.
Deborah you got that right, meanwhile the useful idiots think communism has no elites.

You can bet Notley will run into an old friend after she leaves office who just happens to have a consulting job available for a two or three hundred grand a year for doing nothing. Two or three of those part time jobs or speeches a year for payback What a bunch of slimeballs and they do it right out in the open to spite us in the face.

The Tax Payers of Alberta are paying for Notley’s NDPee’s to see the light. Being socialist, they never will, unless it is a Red light.

Nothing but the best for our communists and their friends, while the peasants can eat dirt. Right Rachel?

Nutley skank had better be looking for a place exile to. BUT, 1st she & her gang of lunatics need to answer to the people of Alberta for their crimes against Alberta. …then off to the Alberta Institution for the criminally insane’
Sure hope to never see one of those Ecofitt vans in my part of the country – it doesn’t appear that they would be much of a match for a Kenworth.

Notley, in all her crazy, is shoving more money towards her friends. Ecofit must be her best friend, judging by all the treats she’s handed over to them.

The next election begins in with the New Year.

Time to destroy the NDP and wipe them from the face of the Earth.
