Entitled Calgary Mayor needs someone else to chair City Council meetings

Holly NicholasRebel Commentator

Calgary City Council has been wasting money during council meetings that can sometimes drag on for days costing taxpayers overtime salary dollars. But it’s part of Mayor Nenshi’s job to chair these meetings efficiently, isn’t it?

The simple solution would be to just set a schedule and stick to it, but instead Council brought in a parliamentary expert from Vancouver to suggest solutions.

Watch as I explain the options that resulted from the consultation, one of which is a costly solution that requires bringing in someone from outside council to take on the job of chairing meetings for Nenshi.

The Mayor seems to like the option of not having to chair the meetings and seems upset that the media is portraying this situation as one that results from him not doing a good job.

Nenshi says this consultation will help him do his job better.

But you know government is too big and too entitled when they'd rather spend your money on a convoluted mess rather than opt for a straight forward solution that’s as simple as making a plan and sticking to it.

This is where we ask what we pay the politicians to do.

a large part of the mayor’s job is to chair city council meetings…if someone is hired to do that, their salary must be deducted from nenshi’s…

Carole asked, "Is that guy a muslim? If so, what is happening in Alberta? My gosh.. "

We have fallen astray.

Here’s hoping next election Notley is out, but when it comes to Calgary, the city has for the most part voted in liberal leaning mayors and then voted Conservative provincially and federally … until of late.

Ralph Klein (1980-89) was of the “old stock” Liberals back in the days when Liberals were more respectable and stood for something other than the ever changing wave of public trends. Ralph was a good man both as mayor and premier of Alberta. A good Liberal, who’d have thunk it!

But I reminisce.

I’ve voted twice against Nenshi and I’m hoping that we can finally slam the door in his face. He’s a true narcissist who loves to hear himself speak. Let’s hope there’s enough sane voters left to oust him from office.

I just want this big fat waste of time to go away and see my mil rate go down. Nenshi is a prime example of a professional PS artist – read his career bio and you will understand why we get these long winded baffle gab session where nothing is said or accomplished. Nenshi is a TALKER, not a doer – speaking of which I really miss Al Duerr

Nenshi proves that these Muslim barbarians are just a thieving bunch of POS! Would sure like to see Nenshi’s face if Mr. Klien would walk into that city hall!! Ralph would kick the ever loving shit out of this POS.

Nenshi’s education background is heavy on “non-profit” expertise. Ummmm, isn’t that what we call a red flag?
I have already voted against Candidate Nenshi twice. Let’s hope that third time’s the charm.

Tammie said, “Isn’t he great at spending other people’s money!”

Most Liberals are.
