Michelle Stirling: Foreign-funded environmentalist NGOs use “green money” to steer Canadian politics

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

On this week's episode of The Gunn Show, Michelle Stirling, Communications Manager for Friends of Science, joined me to discuss her report exposing the enormous sums of money environmentalist non-governmental organizations (ENGOs) use to influence politics in Canada.

With the popularity of three anti-carbon tax premiers — Doug Ford of Ontario, Scott Moe of Saskatchewan, New Brunswick's Blaine Higgs (and the impending election of a fourth, Jason Kenney in Alberta) —carbon taxes and climate change are losing issues for the Liberals.

But, somehow these two items remain Liberal flagship issues. They won't shut up about them!

That’s because of the power and influence environmental NGOs have over the electoral system in Canada. It's all about cash, and they have a lot of it. Sometimes single ENGOs are able to out-fundraise major political parties.

WATCH my interview with Michelle to see all the details!

If you want a GENUINE “environmental issue” to tackle – hey Greenies! – it is the plastics and chemical soup flowing down 24 hours a day from the rivers of China, Indonesia and India… Now THAT is a real issue worthy of international condemnation!!!… It’s so “bleepin” obvious that nobody from Dr. Zook or feckless Al Gore or Canada’s own Climate Barbie would let their grandkids within miles of them…

Carbon Dioxide a miracle molecule… Indeed!… All life depends on it, and since Canada’s boreal forest mass, from coast to coast, MORE than absorbs ANY emissions emanating from Canada, any taxation of it is absolute bullshit… China and India, and other Far East countries, are an entirely different argument…

Odd how the left goes insane for supposed Russian interference in American politics while being fine with influencing Canadian politics. Obama also interfered in Israel’s election but that’s perfectly fine with the Devilcrats.

Well if they have so much money maybe they could start paying for all these climate changing illegal migrants . And what’s with these nuts declaring a climate emergency in some cities ? Down the road these people will regret this stupid shit . They have to put the bong down .

That was a good interview. For all my griping about The Rebel it remains of the few outlets that airs enviro critical/climate sceptic content. I wrote a pamphlet titled “The American Oligarchy’s Economic Warfare Campaign on British Columbia” in 1999. It was the first thing I posted on my website. So this isn’t exactly news to me.

Two flaws in the analysis:

A) This is not something only happening to Canada and the money being spent in Canada is not mainly foreign. Environmentalism is a truly global movement. Countries like the USA and Brazil are every bit as much victimised as we are. As well, there are many wealthy Canadian contributors to the cause (Bronfmans, Westons, Irvings etc.)

B) Environmentalism is a “semi-institutionalised” movement. The pirates have hijacked the ship of state. Scores of government bureaucracies like Environment Canada, Parks Canada, Environment and Parks Alberta etc are seamlessly integrated into the larger movement; as are hundreds of academic departments. ENGOs are the tip of the iceberg.

That is so concerning. Those numbers are amazing. Boy, Canada is everyone’s ‘little bitch’. In some cases we even pay for the privilege.
