Eric Duhaime: Conservative victory in Quebec wasn't an accident

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, Quebec broadcaster Eric Duhaime joined me to explain what factors lead to Conservative Richard Martel's victory in the Chicoutimi—Le Fjord by-election.

Eric explains that rural Quebec, like Alberta, is fiercely opposed to Liberal's agenda of empowering the federal government at the expense of the provinces.

With the collapse of the Bloc Quebecois and the NDP, elections in Quebec are becoming two-way races between the Liberals and the Conservatives. With rural Quebec up for grabs, Eric estimates the Conservatives could pick-up thirty or forty seats in Justin's home province!

No this wasn’t an accident. I believe this was less of a boost for the Conservatives under Scheer, but more about giving the boot to the Lieberals and the No Democracy Party….

I’m less than impressed with Scheer as well, but Justin, allowed to stay in power is a fast track into a hell I don’t want my kids to have to live through. We’ll deal with Scheer in due time. Right now I hope Canadians focus and get the liberal destroyers the hell out. If the conservative party could get Bernier in, the election would be a slam dunk. Bernier has been demoted as has Trost, and anyone else wouldn’t be much/any different/better than Scheer. Lets not lose this election over something we cannot change or improve on. Unless there is some miracle nothing is going to change in the Conservative party by oct 2019. What we really need is a new party. No time for that right now, but it might be something to jump on once we dislodge Justin.

It is very encouraging to hear that the Liberal’s advantage in Quebec is disintegrating as we speak. Justin down first, then we must go to work, either with or without the conservative party. Later, after, not now.
Justin has got to go.

Liberal lite Andrew Scheer and the CINO’s have to go if we are to truly get rid of Trudeau, otherwise it just replacing something terrible with something almost as bad. I wrote a few Conservative MP’s who Scheer has silenced and asked them to spread the word to other Conservative MP’s and vote against renewing Scheer’s leadership in August at the Conservative convention and put in a leader with vision, wisdom and guts. Why he still allows leftist MP Michael Chong to stick around while silencing Brad Trost, Cheryl Gallant and Kelly Leitch is enough evidence he has to go.
I would have a lot more respect for Scheer if he actually let ‘The Rebel’ interview him instead of continually kowtowing to the CBC. But he probably won’t because he does not want to be called a racist in the HoC. He should have come out and said he would shut down the CBC and I do not know why he hasn’t, other than that he still supports the CBC.
A leader who stands for nothing will fall for anything and at present it seems Scheer’s policy is to get elected because Trudeau is a bad leader, not over anything Scheer actually offers. He should be polling at 90% considering the amount of bungling, corruption and outright lies that the Liberals have presented the Canadian public and yet he is non-existent in the polls and a lot of Canadians do not even know who he is.
