Erin O’Toole: Parliament needs “diversity of opinion” on moral issues

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Last night's show included a one-on-one with Conservative Party of Canada leadership candidate Erin O'Toole, about his ideas for the party, and for Canada. In this excerpt, he focuses on "life" issues like abortion and euthanasia.

Why is it so hard to find conservatives anymore? Quit wasting money, pay off the debt, get rid of half the government, no carbon tax and only allow in sponsored immigrants with job skills.

Please support Brad Trost to make Canada great again..
He has a degree in geology and is a climate change denier and knows the carbon tax is a scam.
He is a patriot and a nationalist and does not support globalism.!!

Peter – I still like Brad Trost too!

You know we are going to have to weigh all this stuff and vote for the lesser of the evils we can live with. As well as one we think has the alpha vibe to knock Justina out of the water. I don’t know who that is yet. I hate to compromise on any of my main issues.

LIZA ROSIE, thanks for that link. Another troubling quote by O’Toole contained in this article:
While I haven’t written him off yet, I am now very close in doing so. Sounds too much like a pragmatist like Patrick Brown!

I haven’t written O’toole off yet.

Is Brad Trost biding his time? where is he? Either I unsubscribed him early without meaning to or he hasn’t sent out any emails. Not a bad idea not coming in strong until later. That is what O’leary is going to do. I am looking forward to hearing more from Trost. He is going to have to step it up though. Also I found Trost’s website sort of wanting in information. He’s going to have to ‘buff’ up.

I am disappointed he is allowing unrestricted abortions to continue, won’t reopen the issue to implement some limits. It does sound as though he is against the carbon tax but they all buy into the need to cut emissions. He says “Perhaps there’s a way where the government can incent, and the government can forego some revenue. I’m looking at a lot of these potential solutions.” If not an out and out new tax , what exactly does he mean?

Is O’Toole a Catholic like the man Hillary Clinton’s chose as a running mate, so-called Catholic Tim Kaine? O’Toole says he likes ideas. Does he understand the idea of a man of principle?

this guy doesn’t get it , we want some one who is the opposite of turdo and his libtards , we want some one that says no carbon tax ,get our pipelines built , get our resource industry going , stop trying to destroy Alberta and the west ,stop muslim invasion , ,preserve our Canadian culture and identity, we are fed up with life issues and political correctness and transgender rights and Islamophobia crap and minority rights issues , we want meat and potatoes [ excuse the pun little potatoes ] ,this guy better try for a job with the libtards because with the likes of him it would be more of the same crap we have had for over a year now , go away O’Toole .and we want some one who can work with trump to make Canada great again with the USA .

O’Toole says he’s a Catholic, but wouldn’t introduce any government legislation regarding abortion, which currently is totally un-restricted in Canada, including partial birth abortions.

Canada stands alone among western democratic societies which practice the rule of law, having absolutely NO legal framework regulating abortion. And that seems to be fine with O-Toole.

He says he’s in the ‘middle’ between libertarian and social conservatism, whatever that means from a practical perspective.

Sounds to me like he has opinions but isn’t willing to state them, or stand by them.

Not my cup of tea.

Still Brad Trost is my choice.
