Europe's "cultural suicide": Who benefits from Muslim mass migration? Only the elite Left

Rebel Staff

Journalists and politicians on the Left are just giddy about the refugee crisis.

For many of them, this enthusiasm is an act of emotional therapy, especially for guilty white liberal Germans, for whom taking in all these migrants will be akin to committing cultural suicide.

In Europe, as in America, the elite Left's "humanitarian" open borders policy is often just a thinly disguised desire for cheap labour.

Plus all these new "underprivileged" people will suddenly "need" social workers and welfare bureaucrats...

I predict that this mass migration will uncork new bigotry among ordinary citizens, as Europe's good will is taken advantage of.

And that's not all I see happening...

The history of humanity is the history of mass migration and settlement. This is just the latest iteration on the theme. What is needed is the receiving countries to believe in themselves to withstand a siege by opposing it or insisting upon the migrant mass to adhere to cultural standards. The first didn’t work out so hot for the Plains First Nations. The second not so hot for Western China. So we are probably living through a new turning point of human migration on a massive level.

@ Richard – truth is it does’t matter what you and I think. There is a notion that our opinions here in the comment sections (at The Rebel or elsewhere on the inter web – say the CBC) actually carry any weight in terms of what happens in this world. Newsflash – they don’t – not yours, not mine and really – probably not even Ezra’s (though I would say he carries more weight in certain circles outside of the web) even if he is correct.

You actually don’t even have to have an opinion one way or the other on Muslims to read the writing on the wall – all you have to do is clear your head of ideology, observe add and subtract and presto – you have a relatively good view of what will eventually happen.

The best case scenario is that Ezra and the posters here (including myself) are wrong – that the millions of Muslims displaced into a Secular/Christian European society will be embraced by their new host nations and everyone will join hands and sing “We are the World” and live happily every after. Possible? Sure. Likely? I would’t put money on it. You think this is an ideologically based value judgement no doubt. I would say it is looking at the reality of our world and doing a little addition and subtraction. You can take odds if you like…. I’m not a big gambler so I’ll go political, social and economic disaster as a result. Hope you win though. Peace and wisdom brother…

The Stranger within my gate,
He may be true or kind,
But he does not talk my talk—
I cannot feel his mind.
I see the face and the eyes and the mouth,
But not the soul behind.

The men of my own stock,
They may do ill or well,
But they tell the lies I am wanted to,
They are used to the lies I tell;
And we do not need interpreters
When we go to buy or sell.

The Stranger within my gates,
He may be evil or good,
But I cannot tell what powers control—
What reasons sway his mood;
Nor when the Gods of his far-off land
Shall repossess his blood.

The men of my own stock,
Bitter bad they may be,
But, at least, they hear the things I hear,
And see the things I see;
And whatever I think of them and their likes
They think of the likes of me.

This was my father’s belief
And this is also mine:
Let the corn be all one sheaf—
And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children’s teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.

Further to my post of a few minutes ago, many pundits have been invoking the legacy of the Fathers of Confederation as if they were inclined to let in all comers and let them do as they please once here. I was amused to read a recent NP commentary by Connie Black wherein the verbose once pitched Wilfrid Laurier as some kind of multi-culti cheerleader. Yet Sir Wilfrid has this to say about that:

""We must insist that the immigrant that comes here is willing to become a Canadian and is willing to assimilate our ways, he should be treated on equal grounds and it would be shameful to discriminate against such a person for reasons of their beliefs or the place of birth or origin. But it is the responsibility of that person to become a Canadian in all aspects of life, nothing else but a Canadian. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says that he is a Canadian, but tries to impose his customs and habits upon us, is not a Canadian. We have room for only one flag, the Canadian flag. There is room for only two languages here, English and French. And we have room for loyalty, but only one, loyalty to the Canadian people. We won’t accept anyone, I’m saying anyone, who will try to impose his religion or his customs on us." – 1907

When an incoming group fails to integrate, or whose practices are at odds with the prevailing culture, or disproportionately relies upon public resources – or all of the above – eventually there is going to be push back from the mainstream of host country. That is inevitable. How the incoming group reacts will, to some extent, influence the nature or intensity of the push back. I don’t see the present situation involving widespread and choatic migration form the Middle East and the reaction to it in nations that have been receiving large numbers of migrants as at all analogous with the lead up to the Holocaust or to the large migrations that followed WW2. Firstly, European Jews were not newly arrived Europe. They had a long established presence there and were well-integrated into the mainstream. Secondly, no one is advocating the extermination of the Middle Eastern migrants and lastly their sheer numbers are placing inordinate strain on finite resources at a time when much of Europe is in a downward economic spiral.

Previous large scale migrations, particularly those that followed WW2, conducted in an orderly and systematic manner by countries that wanted a lot of young men to fill anticipated labour shortages. The migrants of that era got off the boat and went to work (many were required to work for a proscribed period of time for a specific employer or within a particular industry, within a particular city or region). There was no welfare, no subsidized housing and quick deportation for those who ran afoul of the law. Their expectations of the host country were minimal and they demanded nothing. They certainly did not expect to impose their culture on the dominant culture. Many were alright with that. They wanted to get away from the old ways. Support was provided by their own communities and other charitable organizations. As much as the msm keeps referring to Canadians’ own immigrant ancestors, most of us recall that our ancestors had a quite different experience yet were able to thrive and prosper despite the absence of any social supports.

It don’t think that it’s xenophobic to feel and to express unease when witnessing the chaos that this latest wave of uncontrolled migration is causing. What is happening in Europe is not good for either the hosts or the new arrivals and regrettably, the actions of ISIS and other terror cults and their interpretations of Muslim religion have further fueled unease and will fuel push back in European nations that are overwhelmed and unable to meet the migrants’ expectations.

Let Canada help the EU, with their immigration problems. Canada can offer to take in all the refugees, those that cross the Mediterranean, from North Africa to Italy, in small unsafe boats. We can take in, all that arrive on our shore’s. Just one condition, they must use the same Boats. Perhaps Trudeau and Mulclair could go out and meet the in mid Atlantic, using Wind Surfers.

I don’t buy it Ezra – I see this latest YouTube like many others here as pure fear-mongering and nothing less.
The goal of these videos it seems is to inspire a perpetual hate and mistrust towards Muslims – the same way some go out of thier way to demonize Jews and Christians – It’s not cool Ezra – it’s very sad…

And once again for the, let’s think, millionth time, socialists/communists pigs are partnered with islamic terrorists and islamic to eradicate Christianity and Judaism.

Our laws are derived from Christianity. Now if the communist pigs can eradicate religion, there’s no more reference to their laws.

It’s been said many times that the elite/world leaders/CEO’s are psychopaths. So to see this total chaos unfold would be quite acceptable to these fucking animals.

Hopefully more boats will capsize. These so called refugees are just more pawns to act out in violent ways.

I’ll give Ezra this – he can do math.

A shit storm is brewing in Europe over this. When it blows it will not be pretty. Ezra nailed it this time.
