"Laughable": Here's everything Maclean's got wrong about "the angry, radical right"

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Maclean’s magazine just published a huge story called “The Angry, Radical Right," with the sub-headline, “Why a growing number of extremists are lashing out publicly at Muslim immigrants and Justin Trudeau."

What the author did was laughable:

He went to some public Facebook groups — where anyone in the world can write a message -- and he cherry-picked some people ranting politically about the PM and refugees.

The Maclean's article uses the word "extremist" five times — but never to talk about Muslim migrants or terrorists, of course. Only to describe old stock Canadians who are angry about Trudeau.

But those angry words on Facebook that Maclean's is suddenly so concerned about? They’re just words. Maclean’s used to support that sort of thing.

Remember Mark Steyn's cover story ten years ago, warning about Muslim migration?

Muslims took Maclean's to human rights court over that. It cost the magazine a quarter million dollars to fight back, but they did.

Maclean’s would never do that today.

Now they put convicted Al Qaida terrorist Omar Khadr on their cover, presenting him as a victim.

There are real threats in Canada. As I told their writer, the likelihood of being killed by Muslim terrorists is very low. The real threat is political Islam changing our culture.

But to Maclean’s, that’s just too difficult to talk about.

Besides, they know that the online commenters they went after in this article aren't going to take them to court, let alone an unfair human rights commission.

At The Rebel, we know what the real threats are. And exposing them is tougher work than reporting on comments left on obscure Facebook pages.

The problem that seems to go over your head, you fucktard, is that you don’t own The Rebel and Ezra doesn’t feel the same way that you do. In fact, you may be even too batshit crazy for him.

Ezra has said repeatedly that he wants liberals to post here and that he is all about free speech. In addition, he seems to love hate comments more than he likes supportive comments.

The bottom line – Ezra wants me here and needs me here.

Yes, That is MSM, through Maclean’s magazine pick at bones that their own kind express and rant all the time, much more violently I must say than any Conservative Bloggers I’ve ever noticed! A Conservative I’ve noticed pretty much will call a spade a spade … but a left winger resorts to threats’ and name calling! Now that it has been mentioned – start taking notice – some tweets by left wingers are right off the wall and could be classed as direct threats on people that by any right should be charged and arrested! As depicted in the great effort some lefty made as Ezra pointed out… to photo shop a picture of Jack Ruby shooting Prime Minister Stephen Harper! That is the effort the left will resort to to demonstrate their violent emotions!

I know business owners that will NEVER hire another person from the maritime provinces – they will close their companies down first. That is how bad they think of anyone from that part of the world now.

Please don’t condemn all of us. I’ve only ever voted conservative and I’m stranded in NL. I finally made it to Alberta for the first time last year only to get canned when oil hit the dirt. Now I’m back on this miserable liberal prison Rock and I hate almost everyone I see. It’s a rare person here who doesn’t deserve total contempt. Stupidity is celebrated here. Civility doesn’t exist here. Liberty is “an American thing”.

But some of us are only stranded with these idiots against our will. We are not like them. Please don’t shut me out when this finally gets better and I return. I would have never left if oil had remained good long enough for me to put some roots down

If this comment section were a physical building, you wouldn’t dare step inside there you fucking goof… And if you did, and said the shit you say here, you’d be leaving in rough shape to say the least.

Sean Penson intoned: “The right must learn to master newspeak, and at least pretend to eschew their views. Just at least pretend to go with the flow, and all will be fine. Just be ready to turn in your friends and supporters to the appropriate authorities when told to do so” Spoken like a tyrant! Any relation to Goebbels?

Here’s another scenario for you, Michael. I go to a female fitness club and ask to join, they say no. I come back in drag, say my name is Caitlyn, they again say no.

It’s a simple matter of “one of these things is not like the other”. There are places that I don’t belong, and there are places where YOU don’t belong, and one of those places is amongst the “extreme” right-wing you’re so terrified over. So again, fuck off, go with your “progressive” buddies somewhere else.

You know what I’m talking about leftist… No banquet burgers served at the hot pot restaurants with asian characters in the windows. To ask for one would be absurd, why are you still here? Did you not get the point? Your leftist BS isn’t worth a damn here, fuck off back to the CBC already.

New World Order.

commented 2016-01-24 12:50:01 -0500

There are many places in Chinatown that serve banquet burgers/all kinds of burgers, so your scenario is moronic, since even in Chinatown – multiculturalism is represented and you can get whatever food you want.

Judging from your punctuation and spelling I think you must be a product of the modern education system.

I think you need to go back to school for a couple of years.

Proud to be a red neck – Alberta will recover – however there will not be any jobs for easterners when the time comes.

I see I touched a nerve.

Well, suck it up buttercup – and keep supporting those who want you to eat from the food banks while loading us up with welfare cases for the next 25 years.

Have a good one.

MacLeans not on my list of readings, anyway.

Heh, so Macleans is on the LPC patronage client program too – oh well another MSM rag to boycott and smile when they get hit by the comet.

Ezra it seems obvious from the core message and pale evidence presented from this Macleans hatchet piece, that criticising Truedough and his policies makes one some sub-human creature who should have their right to free expression stifled. Pretty “extreme” treatment of a large group of fellow Canadians – highly hypocritical. It is an indictment of this hack Patriquin’s tunnel vision that he did not see the voluminous net messaging of a vile malicious radical left which routinely threaten their targets with violence – missed that didn’t you Martin – but I suppose balance and objectivity are sidelined when his real rant ,and the subliminal message sent by this article, is the internet is just too damn free – free speech attracts “angry, radical right” (mature, white Christian gun-toting sheet-wearing) people – so we have a justifition fro censoring the internet and killing the right to free speech – because this invites diversity of opinion, and every good single party statist doesn’t want that.

My suggestion to Mr. Patriquin would be to stop wishing rights be taken from his ideological opponents, because if he gets his wish, the integrity and quality of his craft will be the first to suffer. He may also want to ponder the risks of crossing that thin line between partisan journalism and propagandist.

Quelle surprise! Levant launches another poorly-conceived swipe at the media, this time MacLeans. It’s getting laughable, when he talks about the left-wing bias of the CBC (ignoring the fact that the network has no shortage of right-wing pundits like Rex Murphy and Andrew Coyne regularly appearing and for a while had Kevin O’Leary drawing a paycheque), and even taking shots at independent media like the Georgia Straight (for presumably promoting eco-terrorism) and Edmonton campus station CJSR (for featuring a show of African-Canadian political commentary), which he erroneously dismissed as CKKK. I’m now of the opinion that he privately doesn’t believe in the so-called Media Party, but just wants to feed that hateful B.S. to his angry gullible following simply because he loves the sound of his own voice.

I have not read Macleans in…well….decades! It was always infuriating to wade through the extreme left wing views in that rag, so I just stopped. I won’t even pick it up at the Dentists office if it’s on the table. If everyone who isn’t a far left socialist did this, it would finally fold and disappear.

Like I’ve said before, if I were a father, I think that I would rather have my two young kids talk to me and their mother at the dinner table about what they read in Penthouse or Hustler or Playboy as opposed to what they read in Maclean’s.

If Maclean’s can get hauled off to the human rights commission, what is stopping the rebel from getting taken there as well? We all know how much Ezra loved getting taken to the human rights commission.

And what did Ezra mean when he said that Canada has eight and a half premiers that are left wing? How do you get a half?

Ezra please keep up the good fight. Plus I live in Canada / Alberta. Have you guys ever heard of the CRA taking 100% of your checks. Well they have started that with me just yesterday. They have informed me that the $74,000.00 I paid them last year isn’t enough, and just after Christmas the company I work for told me they were fighting for me, because nobody can live in this country with out any money. Even the company is fighting. I called the CRA and do you know what they said. You are behind in taxes but your Country needs it to help with all the issues that are taking place now. What a joke. My stress level is starting to hit the boiling point. I really don’t know if I love my country any more.

How can you miss Harper’s Saudi ass-kissing when Trudeau does it so well?? “The former government made this commitment to the Saudis” my ass… I hate Pierre Elliott Trudeau, but even he would have enough balls to say “FUCK YOU!” to the Saudis. In other words, the acorn has been blown far from the old tree. Harper = Soros. Trudeau =Soros. Whatever media-loved fool comes next=Soros. And that my friends is how you can tell that Trump does NOT = Soros. The media is out for blood, even Democrats now know the New World Order is real, they’re leaning toward Trump.

Trump is a lot like Putin. Not a perfect guy by any means, in fact, more or less an embarrassment. But beat the hell outta Clinton/Obama/Bush (Soros)… For some reason, these men have decided to throw the gloves to the ice and pummel the globalist elites. So I support them in that. Not just men, look at Le Pen. Can’t hold this back, you “liberal” fucks have fucked us around for too long, not gonna take this shit no more.

Rick Jackson:

I ain’t surprised Amigo. They do NOT believe in free speech, they are not TRUE Liberals like we are.

I’ll say this: accept homosexuals as created that way by God Almighty. Accept folks for whatever the fuck their skin color is, whatever the difference is, that’s them and we got our own sphere as well, our own Sovereignty… WE are the TRUE Liberals.

My perfect world would be the two lesbians, Free and Liberal, growing a field of cannabis on their private property, armed with shotguns to defend what’s their’s. And obviously being straight is good too, but the point is, if you’re fucking gay, who cares???? Doesn’t bother me a bit, that’s your domain.

And I’ll say this to “Sean Penson”, who I suspect is Dhimmi Duhhhh Silva, who I’ve already told this to.

For the second time, just like last time, asshole:

“Let’s imagine for a second here, that I head into Chinatown Toronto on my day off from house arrest.

When I get there, I say, “Hey, Mr. Xuang, give me a double banquet burger.” Now, if I were to attempt this, I SHOULD know full well, Mr. Xuang has no double banquet burger to serve me.

I will look like a goddamn moron going from restaurant to restaurant there, asking for something, which based on the neighborhood, will certainly not be normal or available.

If it helps for you multi-culturalists, think of this website like Toronto Chinatown. You are now the asshole coming into a restaurant that clearly doesn’t serve banquet burgers, asking for a goddamn banquet burger.

When a leftist says he adores multiculturalism, yet approaches an obviously different culture demanding his hosts conform to his comfortable culture… Is that not total hypocrisy? I don’t go to Chinatown and demand such impossibility…

And so I ask, what the fuck are you doing in Conservative-town, demanding a double leftist burger??? Take a hint douchebag, time to sign on out, for the last time, and stop fucking with us here, you are being “culturally insensitive” if that’s the BS language that’ll get thru."

Snip – “people were from Atlantic Canada and Ontario now they are going back to Trudeau’s dirt floor bare foot economy”
I know business owners that will NEVER hire another person from the maritime provinces – they will close their companies down first. That is how bad they think of anyone from that part of the world now.

As for kebec – never again – you have a frog accent you are not even going to see your resume hit the pile – it will be straight into the shredder.

Ontario? Maybe – but only if you are coming home after being away.

It was a real betrayal – and now they all have their hand out looking for money.

Hate the west – love their cash.

Time to split this country down the middle – those in the west that do not like it can leave – be happy to help them pack.

They will not be missed.

In closing……..

Big hug to Michael Mann – the stalker. ;-)
