Exclusive: CBC deceives Canadians, lending legitimacy to fake First Nation behind pipeline blockade

Keean BexteRebel Contributor

My guess is that you’ve heard about the Northern Gateway gas pipeline that was being blockaded by eco-radicals? What you haven’t heard is this alarming side of the story.

This pipeline is heading from Dawson Creek to Kitimat, a similar geographical line as a few other pipeline attempts. Remember Northern Gateway? Same place.

Instead of oil, however, this Coastal Gaslink line will export Canadian natural gas. It will run through a number of First Nations, and each of them has signed an agreement accepting money and jobs in return for the pipeline. Every single one, including the Wet’suwet’en.

But what about those Wet’suwet’en blockaders that were arrested by the RCMP for illegally contravening a court injunction?

You must have heard of them: the mainstream media has been swooning over their plight for weeks, helping them drum up a patchwork of support across Canada.

Using the Wet’suwet’en name, these eco-radicals have manipulated the public into thinking that the blockaders actually hold some sort of right to the land that the pipeline is being built on, when in fact all that they have done is set up a makeshift camp with their hands out demanding any resource company that walks by them cough up cash.

In other words: They are a marketing gimmick and are in it for the money!

The CBC lied to us about who actually funded the blockade. It wasn’t the Wet’suwet’en First Nation like they claimed – it was actually a heavily indebted company that was funded by Tides, the Pembina Institute, and many other eco-radical organizations.

BILLY HOWARD….Bernier is NOT splitting the vote….just vote for the PPC instead of for Andrew Scheer and the vote will not be split….simple…WHAT? …pray tell…would be the advantage of voting for Andrew Scheer over PPC? Unless of course you happen to have milk quota in Quebec or you cherish the CBC.

Billy Howard: I fully agree. Good points.

Paul Dixon: The argument that CBC “has served isolated communities and provided unique Canadian content for decades” is no longer valid. The gov’t has promised and is working towards bringing the internet to all isolated communities thus making reception of the CBC redundant. When you have internet, you can watch CBC, CTV, Rebel, or whatever.
Tell this to everyone who uses that argument. It’s 2019, not 1970.

For those of you beginning to realize how deceptive the CBC really is I would like to remind you that there a great book available to push you off the edge regarding the CBC. The title is “CBC exposed” by Brian Lilley. Get your hands on a copy and prepare to have your brain explode from rage. See what this criminal organization has done in the past and compare it with the stories we are reading from today. If any law abiding citizen was involved in these kind of criminal activities they would be arrested and imprisoned but the CBC is not only allowed to continue, they are being paid to do it and to ad insult to injury, you, the taxpayer are being FORCED to support them.

Billy: I think that your prediction is accurate. I lament what Bernier did, because that really is going to split the vote. And the control that Trudeau has implemented over the media is going to be huge.
I guess what I lament the most is the brainwashing that has taken place in this country. I know that most people are really dependent on the MSM for their “information”. But what most Canadians do not realize is that, not only has the media tainted the product, they have also trained Canadians HOW to THINK. And the thinking is illogical and irrational. In dialogue with my brother about how much the CBC should or should not be funded, his argument is that the CBC has served isolated communities and provided unique Canadian content for decades and is necessary. This is totally irrelevant to my argument, which is that, if they are receiving funding, then they need to be unbiased and present a balanced perspective on all issues. He is convinced that they do! Why? Because the CBC says that it does. He accuses ME of being biased and only wanting a right wing perspective to be presented, which is not at all what I have to repeat over and over… It is like trying to reason with a kid in grade 3.
This is the type of dialogue that arises with almost everyone with whom I interact who is a left-winger. I walk away shaking my head.
This disturbs me about the direction in which Canada is going. The school system is a huge, unashamed perpetrator when it comes to this type of nonsense. Sit in a staff room and bring up the global warming hoax, the illegitimacy of the “gender pay gap” issue, or mention the word “Trump” and it is like I dropped a hand grenade – you have to call a trauma counsellor for the freaked-out staff who are there. And they pass that on to their students.
I think the greatest challenge for us who “understand” the situation is to attempt to reeducate those around us on the basics of logical thinking and criticism. Without that common ground any “dialogue” on any issue with a wacked-out left-winger (those two adjectives are actually redundant!) is fruitless.

Paul Dixon said: “If he gets voted in again I will, regretfully, have to admit that Canada truly is full of stupid people.”
While the contingent of stupid Canadians will be huge if Justin wins again, let’s also consider:
-Trudeau’s year-round taxpayer funded campaigning (town halls)
-banning (TBA) of the largest conservative leaning media that openly questions his narratives: Rebel Media
-non-citizen voting (proof of citizenship not required)
-Justin’s divisive politics, pitting races/religions/regions against each other – “Divide and Conquer”
-massive 3rd party foreign funding of Trudeau narratives (ie: Tides, LeadNow, Sierra, NGOs, etc)
-Scheer is too nice to call Trudeau the liar and criminal that he is (instead uses polite descriptors) while Justin freely calls/insinuates CPC voters are Nazis and deplorables
-Bernier splitting the vote in swing ridings allowing the Libs to come up the middle
-Singh’s low approval rating as NDP leader keeps most of the alt-left vote with the Liberals

Prediction: Trudeau majority with clear divisions between Canadians. Libs will win Atlantic Canada, Quebec, Toronto/Ottawa, and Vancouver. CPC gets the rest with a smattering of NDP/PPC/Grn seats.

Trudeau obviously couldn’t care less about Canada. He is sidling up to all of these foreign interest groups, especially the UN, at the cost of Canada. His dream, and the carrot that all of them are dangling in front of him, is that they are all friends and they will offer him some high level appointment when he is no longer PM. All he is trying to secure is his future, a life of parties and luxury, and to Hades with the rest of Canada.
The last laugh, though, is going to be on him. They all know that he is an idiot, and they are simply using him and his position for their ends. When he is no longer PM they will dump him in a heartbeat. What can he, with his flakiness and lack of intelligence, offer anyone. He has no influence and no brains, and is totally dependent on those around him. He reminds me of my beloved mother-in-law, who is 93, has stage one dementia, and lives with us. She is losing any sense of initiative or organization. She is totally dependent on my wife for every decision she makes throughout the day. Trudeau is the same – he probably needs Sophie to choose his socks, and Butts to tell him which foot to put in front of the other one all day long. Who wants someone like that working for them, with an “um” between every two words he says. Kindergarten kids speak better than he does.
The fact that he cannot see that just adds to the proof that he is a boy in an adult body. Lord help us – get him out in November. If he gets voted in again I will, regretfully, have to admit that Canada truly is full of stupid people.

And that’s why “Chief Rain In The Face” was around for every photo-op during the Burnaby Mountain fiasco, but nowhere to be seen when that piece of guerrilla theatre was dismantled…

Excellent reporting Keenan!
Unfortunately I am not surprised by what the “heriditary” chiefs are doing in lining their pockets with foreign money to the detriment of Canada. Complicity by the current Trudeau regime and Notley’s NDP speaks volumes that most Canadians do not hear about given the MSM has an agenda to bow and grovel to provide only government approved fake news. Every time the CBC commercial spouting their fictitious idiocy that their news is the “truth” makes me want to gag…all the MSM in Canada are bought and paid for by Trudeau, they have no morals and lack even a shred of decency and honesty. This report by the Rebel should be made available to every Canadian.

William Kay got that right , the movement has been so hideously corrupted and co-opted that there is no saving them.

Excellent work by Bexte!

Environmentalism existed in a recognisable form 150 years ago and has survived several incarnations. Many wrongly believe environmentalism started in the late-1960s; but this period merely witnessed a process of aggressive movement recruitment, re-branding, and the establishment of secure movement beach-heads within governments.

Protest enviro-NGOs continue to play a role, but the movement is now deeply embedded within government ministries and university faculties. Canada’s largest “radical” environmental organisations are: Environment Canada, Parks Canada, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, National Energy Board and CBC. A “Green Deep State” operates in conjunction with several lawyer-based enviro-groups. Trans Mountain wasn’t blocked by protest-activists but by the Federal Court. A similar same fate may befall Coastal GasLink.

The CBC recruited and indoctrinated Suzuki before they made him an eco-star. The CBC brass aren’t being manipulated by enviro-activists. Water doesn’t run up hill.

It`s the Hereditary Chiefs comprising the opposition mimiking David Suzuki and his extinction message. They are crowdsourcing for funds. The elected leaders are collage graduates, the Hereditary elders are not so “educated”. Is CBC “lying” or simply reporting on another side of the story?
commented 2019-01-23 22:19:21 -0500
Good reporting Keenan , It’s not surprising the CBC “reporting” lies that’s pretty much all they do . Just like their masters JT and Butts . All these traitors seem to flock together . Karma will eventually catch up with all these fools and if it doesn’t a rope will !

Just so the world knows, it appears that the Hereditary Chiefs are keeping Canada’s First Nations down as second class citizens. They are going against the will of their own people.
Why are the Band Chief’s along the route, who are elected to take care of the needs of their band members being disregarded? The Hereditary Chief’s are interested in the territory only and don’t seem to give a rats ass what their own people want, need or democratically decide. By their actions it looks like they want them kept in poverty and dependant. How can the government consult in ‘good faith’ with unelected Hereditary Chief’s who do not reflect the will of their own people?

Are all foundational people in Canada being held hostage by authoritarians acting against the will of the people?

Good work. I just don’t understand, if they want to live off the land, why don’t they? Instead they choose to live off taxpayers

Tides organisation is controlled by the will of Allah. The whole situation is not really about natural gas or oil being unwelcome, it is more the take down of Canadian industry. The indigenous people are just being used to help bring Canada to it’s knees. A crippled country cannot defend itself. Trudeau smiles.

This is why trudeau bought the media. Just think what the people would do in they knew the truth. We have 100% better environmental considerations, and human rights.

Its the same on the East coast, Saudi oil 20 billion a year brought to us by the liebral elites, in tankers flagged in another country so no Canadian taxes are paid.

Big money is being spent to keep Canadians from using our own resources.
The corruption runs to the highest level of office in this country crimeminister turdeau.
We are being stolen from.

However Canadians must pay carbon tax, gender lens analysis, up stream and down stream environment BS.
All the while imported oil has none of this to deal with.
Real environmental issues like raw sewage being dumped in our rivers and oceans is ignored by both the provincial and federal governments.

Look hard enough and it is almost guaranteed that most leftist public initiatives will be found to have a globalist George Soros connection. He usually shields himself with at least 2 or 3 subordinate levels of fully funded stooge organizations.

I see corruption in all colours and religions who pays for this the hard working Canadians get screwed for many years, heads need to roll it makes my blood boil.

Great investigative journalism.
To summarize:
Groups with connections to the Alberta NDP gov’t and the Trudeau gov’t donated anti-pipeline cash
Tides paid OWS to stop the pipeline
Soros (son of George) is a contributor to Tides
George Soros has well over $100 million in oil investments OUTSIDE Canada
Tides spent well over $1 million to promote Trudeau in the 2015 election

So ask yourself: Is Trudeau and Notley telling the truth about wanting pipelines to bring Canadian energy to the world market?
commented 2019-01-23 17:02:47 -0500
the ELM-environmental lying movement live up to their name every time they shoot off their naive, ignorant mouths. thankfully the canadian media suck all their crap in. one truthful media link, the rebel, which gets attacked from all sides, because the left do not believe in freedom of expression and truth in canada.
commented 2019-01-23 16:28:45 -0500
For all those ‘progressives’ including the hideous American Hollywood actors who think First Nations don’t want pipelines.
commented 2019-01-23 16:16:06 -0500
These Hereditary Chief’s are a no good company bought and paid for by big enviro groups and foreign governments. They should be run out of Canada. They are traitors to their own people.
Why are the real chief’s of all the Bands along the pipeline route not given a voice in the media?

The Rebel could be that voice. It’s time Canada hears the truth from the mouths of the real Chiefs who want self sufficiency and want the pipelines built.

Keenan good work, you are making a name for yourself.

I have a question,if the OWS was posing as a treaty band why didn’t other First Nations groups that signed on to the deal call them out,are the other bands being intimidated by these Eco activists?
commented 2019-01-23 15:19:25 -0500
Wow so once again the government and its propaganda machine find it ok to deceive its citizens to suppress them and the economy. Lying to advance their phony climate change agenda and as Trudeau always says" “we’re working hard so Canadians can join the middle class”. Corruption out of control this rat needs to be dealt with there is no playing by the rules with this clown!!!
