EXCLUSIVE: FOI docs reveal Environment Ministry pushed for McKenna’s pricey Paris photographer

Remember when Environment Minister Catherine McKenna spent $6,700 for a photographer to take pictures of her at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris?

A French photographer, hired by the Environment and Climate Change Ministry, put in five days of work in late November of 2015. When the cost of his work came to light, McKenna was lambasted by the Conservatives for her wasteful ways.

McKenna was quick to defend and distance herself from the contract. She said that the photographer was something that was foisted upon her by the ministry. She said her ministry was just following the long standing practice of using photography to communicate with the public and that she was in no way involved.

But at the Rebel, we knew there was more to the story. We aren’t like the rest of the mainstream media who were willing to take Catherine McKenna’s explanations and excuses at face value.

We asked McKenna’s ministry to: "Provide copies of all documents, including e-mails, RFPs, proposals, contracts, invoices, memos, text or instant messages, Blackberry PINs, etc. regarding the hiring of photographer {Sebastien Leban} to document the Minister's visit to Paris, since November 2015"

Watch my video to see what those internal emails returned.

We discovered that Catherine McKenna’s office was far more involved in the hiring of the photographer than she wanted us to believe.

This is theft of taxpayer dollars. These self-centered people have no moral compass. None.

Sorry folks, I must be listening to Trudope the Younger too much, my version of the ah ah ahs!

I just saw some quotes and tweets of McKenna gushing over her meeting with the King of Corruption, Al “Scammer” Gore. I detected a puddle of excitement under her panties. Quite possibly she is one of the stupidest of Canada’s citizens. When you toss in Freeland, Monsef and Trudope’s other female members of that “diverse” cabinet of misfits it begs the question, does this instill pride in the Rebel female crowd? McKenna should try one of the new fangled energy efficient light bulbs, the one between her ears now has been burnt out for some time.

One tweet that caught my eye. If the climate change money dried up, the climate would stop changing. Not entirely true, but you get the jist. And the scammers would be on to the next fraud.

McKenna should be minister of shit sniffing or something. At least she has that “meaningful” co2 plaque from the corrupt UN. Another Climate Barbarella to the rescue. Cunned stunt action girl.

And I’m still convinced it’s all because Environment Barbie never made it onto her high school cheerleading squad… Explains everything…

You can’t expect her to know what goes on in her department, that would require commitment and ability which are not requirements to be a Liberal Cabinet Minister.

That’s fine, at some point in the – hopefully near – future those pricey, taxpayer funded ‘glamour’ photos of Environment Barbie will merely become trial evidence in…THE PURGE!
Yuck it up while you can trough-pigs…

Good digging Sheila; wouldn’t see that on the state sqwack box.

Poor McKenna, she only gets $6700 professional photography shots, while a gay backbench Newfoundland MP gets a Christmas vacation on a private island with Baby Doc.

Apparently, according to JT’s fans, Kathy Katula is the real liar.

The problem is that most Canadians rely upon the MSM like the CBC for their information or they simply don’t care.

But they know best so we should just shut up and trust them. It’s only wrong if conservatives do it.

One lies, and they all swear by it………until the next lie of course, where they will all swear by it.
The trouble with the perpetual party of lies is, one has to remember the last lie. That is a lot of remembering for people who don’t remember so well.

It isn’t ridiculed as “the selfie party” for nothing.

My thinking keeps wandering back to that single working Mom who pleaded with Trudeau for relief – living on $65 a month and paying more in Liberal-inflated energy bills than food – that is a subsistence life style – this is working class poverty – and there is more of it now than there was a year ago. Where is this morbidly selfish government’s priorities?

As long as working Canadians struggle in near poverty, ANY profligate frivolous government spending is not just wrong but immoral – a mortal sin.
