YouTube recently announced that it plans to censor what it’s calling "controversial" religious and supremacist videos.
It is part of their widespread effort that has been described as a “commitment to fight terror content online.”
That seems fine at first glance. But don’t be fooled:
“Terror” for YouTube is just another word for “conservative” and “right wing.”
In order to crack down on videos YouTube doesn’t like, they will now hide and demonetize any videos they deem to be “controversial” or “supremacist.”
There is a lot of content on the Internet that is posted daily, which is why YouTube announced that it will utilize the help of “Trusted Flaggers” to help identify problematic content.
One of those “Trusted Flaggers” is the Anti Defamation League (ADL).
The ADL describes itself as a non-partisan organization that “speaks up for those whose voices are not always heard.”
But only if you’re liberal.
After the ADL published its now notorious defamatory hit list that accused 36 conservatives of being anti-Semites, it became increasingly evident that the ADL is not “non-partisan”, as it claims to be.
The ADL is not the voice of the Jewish people, either. Instead, it is a far left organization that has historically aligned itself with anti-Israel Democratic politicians and even extreme pro-Islam sentiments.
It is easy to call the ADL a far-left anti-conservative organization.
But at The Rebel, we wanted to prove to you how left wing and anti-conservative the ADL is.
On the ADL website’s “Our Leadership and Staff” page, 16 ADL senior staff are listed.
So the Rebel conducted an audit of their FEC donations and social media, and discovered that ADL leadership has a documented liberal bias – an extreme liberal bias, thirty to one.
Along with the executives’ donations to Democratic candidates and Super PACS, an overview of ADL leadership social media also reveals a strong anti-conservative bias, especially with regards to conservative social media – the very job that YouTube has hired them for.
So much for being neutral referees.
WATCH my exclusive report and ask yourself:
If ADL leadership thinks we need a “Trump free safe space," what is going to stop them from flagging pro-Trump or pro-conservative content on YouTube to create a virtual safe space?
If the ADL and other left wing organizations serve as content filters for the entire YouTube community, we may find out what a virtual liberal safe space on YouTube looks like sooner than later.
