In late January, the Liberals were in Calgary for a cabinet retreat to discuss the election of President Trump, but documents show they spent thousands of dollars on a luxurious stay at the city’s oldest and fanciest hotel, the Fairmont Palliser.
The Prime Minister himself paid almost $190 per night, a cost which exceeds the government spending limit for the City of Calgary, but the Liberals care so much about your money that they booked it anyway.
They also had all their meals at the fancy hotel, which totalled $17,000, including the cost of rental for the space.
And then of course there were the travel costs, expenses for vehicle rentals, tens of thousands paid for cargo shipments... The list goes on and on.
In fact, there were 950 pages of expenses to go through, and those I’ve mentioned are just the tip of the iceberg. It’s no mystery how the Liberals are spending us into debt.
Do you plan posh trips to fancy hotels when you can’t afford it? Well, the Liberals do and there’s no doubt this one trip cost taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.
They could have held the meetings in Ottawa, but I guess the Liberals were bored with the bubble.
Let’s face it, we’re not paying the Liberal cabinet to work when they go on these trips for meetings.
We’re paying for them to go on holiday as one big happy family of thirty, plus their entourage.
Spend, spend, spend, as long as it’s on the tax payer dime.
$2 billion from CPP to pay for housing in Mumbai, India.
Who says India gets to spend CPP money?
How many holidays has Baby Doc Trudeau taken since becoming emperor? I figure every three to four weeks, sometimes tacking it onto an actual (and lavish) governmental trip, and sometimes scheduled the trip around vacation time so we pay for the little prince.
Not saying that he is, but I have a feeling that he should come out of the closet, and its about time the MSM reported what they know instead of being hush about it.
