Expert: High River "gun grab" violated UN Declaration of Human Rights

Brian LilleyArchive

We had a great time in High River last weekend standing up for fundamental freedoms, standing tall for those that had their rights trampled two years ago by the very police force that were supposed to protect them.

So far we have shared my talk on the political side of things, then Dennis Young, the man behind much of the research spoke of his trouble getting answers, and yesterday John Carpay on the roots of our freedoms and how the High River Gun Grab relates.

Now I want to share Rick Hemmingson's talk.

Rick is a lawyer from Lacombe, AB who knows the legislation inside and out.

Listen as he debunks the many tall tales, sometimes outright lies, put forward to justify the unjustifiable police action two years ago.

READ Brian Lilley's book CBC Exposed -- it's been called "the political book of the year.”

The High River gun grab violated every Canadian's civil liberties, and must never be repeated.

I have seen the RCMP do some very commendable work but unfortunately they have very dark days also and this dispicable gun seizure is one of them.Is it arrogance or stupidity that cause this? or both?
The GREG MATTERS killing by RCMP will always leave a dark shadow for me forever

This is so disgusting, I never have trusted the RCMP. But they are fellow Canadians and they know better that do this shit.

Lost a lot of respect for the RCMP. Not the individual officers necessarily (although in many cases especially in High River, the individual went along knowing what they were doing was wrong and that in itself is wrong). However, the supervisory staff all the way to the commissioner has become a political body and to hell with ‘Serve and Protect’.
I hate to be repetitive but this is also a sign of the ROT that is taking a grip in our Canada. When one cannot trust the police to say nothing of a once elite force, then you know that things have gotten bad, very bad.
