“I’ve never seen anything like it”: Justin Trudeau goes to Calgary — and meets 2,000 angry protesters

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Calgary isn’t much of a protest city — Vancouver is, with all of its professional environmentalists; Toronto and Montreal are, just because of their size and their rich labour union front groups. But not Calgary. It’s too busy working to chant on the streets

Now, though, times have changed. I'll show you the video — 2,000 protesters. I’ve never seen that in Calgary before; the last time I’ve heard of so much anger in the city was actually the early 1980s, when Doug Christie’s Western Canada Concept separatist party filled the Jubilee Auditorium.

It wasn’t even a rally — it was a full-out protest, and it was boisterous. I’ve seen violent rallies before in my day — always from paid, professional protesters on the left, often Antifa, often with masks or their faces covered. Not these folks — they were severely normal Albertans who are just at the end of their ropes.

But Calgarians have a sense of humour, too, as you'll see from some of their protest signs...

Not a bad way to blow off steam.

But not according to the bought and paid for Trudeau media.

Here’s how the CBC covered it — "Trudeau and Nenshi hugged it out."

Is that really the big news from yesterday from Alberta? 2,000 angry unemployed men and women at a noisy protest — but two leftists hugging is the CBC’s lead story? Because of course it is.

And look at Mariam Ibrahim, a former Postmedia reporter, who went to work for a left-wing Alberta labour union.

She is furious at those protesters:

"That is a fucking noose hanging from a tree on that guy's sweatshirt."

I looked really closely, and there IS noose on there.

It might not be in good taste. But it’s a joke. Because not everyone who is unemployed can go to work for Rachel Notley’s union front group to make six figures. Some people need a real job. But that’s all the Media Party needed to discredit 2,000 unemployed men and women with a legitimate grievance.

TONIGHT I'll show you the Media Party's reaction to that one sweatshirt, from reporters at the National Post and the Globe and Mail.

So the real news is that 2,000 Calgarians had a peaceful but noisy protest against unemployment being foisted upon them. And the media reports were that Nenshi and Trudeau hugged it out, and that someone wearing a novelty shirt wanted to kill Trudeau obviously and he’s really, really scary!

This isn’t going to get better. Trudeau and Morneau and McKenna are just fine with things the way they are. No pipeline is going to be built. Alberta will get poorer still.

Even when Notley loses next year, Trudeau will still block pipelines and tankers.

The only thing that’s changed in the past week is that Canada’s media is even more compromised, even more biased than ever.

This isn’t good...

NEXT: We hear a lot about how horrible Canada's residential schools were, and some of these criticisms may be legitimate. But what we don't hear is how many former students were actually grateful for this educational opportunity.

At The Rebel Live Calgary, I met a Rebel supporter named Gabe Desjardins. What he told me was so interesting, I've asked him to come on my show, to talk about his mother's experience in residential schools. It's a perspective you won't hear anywhere else.

FINALLY: Your messages to me!

“I’ve never seen anything like it”: Justin Trudeau

That’s what happens when you feel your country and are unable to be fiscally responsible.

Kissy-huggy. Everytime I see truduck stick out his chin and grab the sucker with both hands, one shaking vigorously, the very next thing I expect to see him do is to pull that person real close with both arms and give him or her a real quick rabbit fuck. This guy is not pm. material whatsoever, in any way shape or form.

Robert, here you go;

A teen girl and her mother are seriously injured following an assault in a Scarborough highrise building on Friday evening.

Neighbours called 911 around 6 p.m. after they heard an attack inside an apartment in the area of Danforth and McCowan roads, near Lawrence Avenue East, Toronto police say.

Emergency crews found a 17-year-old girl without vital signs and with stab wounds to her upper body. She was rushed to SickKids hospital in life-threatening condition, according to paramedics.

“[Officers] got her down and ready for EMS, and it looks like that probably helped save her life at this point,” Det. Jason Hillier of 43 Division told reporters at the scene.

The teen’s mother believed to be in her early 30s was also taken to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre with a head injury, police say. She is in serious, but non-life-threatening condition.

“It’s been a pretty hectic scene because it was active,” said Hillier.

Investigators are searching for a man, between age 35 and 40, around 5’9", wearing a white jacket and possibly without shoes.

He was last seen fleeing the area on foot north along McCowan Road near Trudelle Street.

Police say it’s not immediately clear if the victims and suspect knew each other.

I think you see opportunity here Ezra, as you seek additional funds to ramp up, but I think you need to think even bigger. Like be ready to take on all the fired conservatives. Don’t wait, talk to them now, before the hammer comes down on them. Heck, maybe they’ll WANT the buyout. With their buyout, how much do they need to come work for Rebel?

Would their presence bring in some ad revenue?

People don’t mind reading stories. They do it all the time in the msm. Do you need to change the website format to do a mix of vids and print?

You know, just the announcement of the program will alter the media, as they champion Trudeau for the next election to ensure their funds. I don’t think that’s by accident either. He gets the big push for free actually.

Oh, so they hugged it out huh? Umm, hey Ezra, isn’t that what Trudeau did with that crying lady that couldn’t afford 20k much less 100k for an electric vehicle? So that’s his tact? Share the pain? And Nenshi fell for it too? And the media bought and sold it? Seeing a pattern here? Where else has he done this?

Jan G, the first Residential School in Canada was founded for Mohawk children in 1831…almost 40 years before Canada’s Confederation. The schools in operation prior to Confederation were run by both the Catholic and Anglican churches in order to, “kill the Indian in the child”.
If you research parliamentary voting records, it was the Liberal Party of Canada that blocked Residential school closures until 1996.
Stephen Harper is the ONLY Canadian Prime Minister to have formally apologized for government involvement in Residential schools after the 1880’s.

Only one way to get Trudeau out as PM and save Canada: Watch the polls and VOTE STRATEGICALLY in the 2019 election. Whichever non-left party (CPC or PPC) is running ahead in each province in 2019, VOTE FOR THAT PARTY. That will ensure we get enough MP’s on the right elected to form a coalition government and get Trudeau out of office. The alternative is to split the right-of-center vote and re-elect Trudeau the Canada-destroyer by default. Bernier said recently (it’s on a Youtube video, the title of which I don’t remember) that he is only going after balance of power, not government, so you won’t hurt his feelings by putting him into power in a coalition or balance of power, as opposed to back on the opposition benches by a split rightwing vote in 2019. Vote smart in 2019, VOTE STRATEGICALLY!

Maybe we wouldn’t be dealing with honor killings and female genital mutilations had the government thought to do a ‘gender study’ first.
commented 2018-11-23 22:02:04 -0500
Good question Glenn. If Climate Barbie is so concerned about the impact on women when all those big, rough men move into town to work in the oil patch, why wasn’t she and her government prepared to do a gender analysis on the repercussions of bringing in hundreds of thousands of migrants from cultures which do not respect women and children by our western standards? Maybe incidents like the pool groping of children, rape murders like Marisa Shen’s, or the Danforth shooting of mostly women etc. could have been avoided.

Trudeau Senior once visited the Canadian Arctic Islands where Panarctic Oils was doing oil and gas exploration. In preparation for his visit, we were told that if we saw him standing on the edge of an ice floe that we should not push him in, however, if he fell in we did not have to pull him out.

I know that was said “tongue in cheek” but it did express the feelings held by most in the West at that time.

Are You prepared for Civil War…..It might be a good idea to think about it. Trudeau has and he is assembling his opposing Army. Mass recruitment after signing up for the UN open boarders fiasco.

Years ago I used to know a lady who had attended residential school in BC. She always said that it was the best time of her life, they were treated far better at the school than they were at home. I am sure the policy of sending native children to residential school was made with good intentions. I also believe that there were abuses at some schools, but it certainly wasn’t every student at every school as we are constantly told. I believe that there are many people who are successful today who would not have been if they had not attended a residential school.

The rallies the left attend are the scary ones and they know they are. Full of violence and threatening masked, armed protesters/ antifa, screaming, spitting throwing rocks, bottles of pee. Poor triggered little weasels, need some crayons and a puppy to pet.

The protest in Calgary was the most civil protest maybe ever. These leftist (Trudeau, bought and paid for journalists) are liars. You won’t be able to trust a word from their mouths ever again, (if you ever could). This is their pathetic attempt to direct a negative narrative. They can’t find anything, so they come up with this? Ah geez, at least the two with the signs about Marg’s swinging ways in the old days, didn’t question why Justin doesn’t look like his brother, the one who does the documentaries for the Iranian government. To the credit of the protesters, there was a boat load of material that wasn’t used. I think the message was, there was never a Trudeau who ever showed any of us any respect, so why should we be polite about the way we feel about him?

You notice they didn’t play the numbers game this time, " Oh there were hardly 100 people in attendance" line. Kind of hard to take a pic of that crowd and make it look insignificant. It was awesome! It made me proud, to see all those patriots.

- The people of Calgary have a right to be angry. The people of Alberta have a right to be angry. The people of Canada have a right to be angry. Paying off the mainstream media will only go towards covering up that anger, not ending it.

- So from what we’re hearing from Gabe (& others) the left is trying to destroy history based on their own revision of it.

Gee, did Jason Kenney see that sign about Trudeau’s mom and the protestors? He’ll have check the UCP membership list!

It was always the ‘Catholic’ schools that were targeted and portrayed as the evil, abusive schools. All schools were directed by the government.

There are some successful Native business people in various fields and some Natives do credit residential schools with giving them skills they needed to support themselves.

God love you. Gabe. The mission.
You can definitely thank the Catholic. All schools hospitals science are from them. The best record of human rights in history despite the controversy. It’s no wonder the pagan cult wants to destroy them. The gates of Hell will not prevail.

Dinesh D’Souza gives an excellent lecture on fake history and how the Americans have been misled and misinformed on who were Democrats and who were Republicans.
Get a coffee or a beer, it’s 1 1/2 hours long but very well worth every minute. He is exceptional.
(there are other shorter excerpts on youtube but they miss the full essence of the lecture)

Great show Ezra. Canadian history has been so distorted. I never knew how evil this world is until I got old.

ssAnother thing Gabe Desjardins mentioned was the benefits of residential schools. Though Jericho Hill School did a poor job of helping us adjust to the sighted world, I did learn that breaking rules had consequences. Today’s sighted kids could do with those lessons I learned there.
commented 2018-11-23 20:53:03 -0500
Gabe Desjardins made some great points about the real scene at at residential schools. But somethings happened at disabled children’s schools which were far worse. Jericho Hill School for the Deaf and Blind had a rampant sexual abuse problem for decades. The deaf alumni sued and won their abuse case in 1998.
