Trudeau visits Vimy — but betrays today’s veterans

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Jerry Agar here, guest hosting for Ezra Levant this week: As Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attended the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge on Sunday, many of Canada’s injured and wounded veterans feel he has betrayed them.

They want him to fulfill his 2015 election promise to restore lifetime military disability pensions.

Trudeau was the only party leader to make this commitment.

But almost 18 months after his election, a group of Afghanistan war veterans is in court having launched a class action lawsuit against Trudeau’s government on this very issue.

Various governments over the years, both Conservative and Liberal, made and broke promises to veterans.

But today it is the Trudeau government that requires the veteran to fight yet another battle, to charge yet another hill, while breaking yet another promise they perhaps never intended to keep…

Tonight’s guests: Sun columnist Lorrie Goldstein come on to make the case that Conservatives need to stop trying appease the Liberals.

Then filmmaker Cassie Jaye joins me to talk about her controversial men’s rights film called Red Pill Movie — a documentary that has been censored by feminists many times (as we’ve reported here at The Rebel.)

Space Moose you are pretty lost, i will make sure to not intervene if i ever see you getting attacked.

You have definitely chosen an accurate alias for yourself Space Moose.

I worry about a lot of things. Putin is not one of them. While he is no saint, he has certainly been turned into a scapegoat for the west.

The military is not responsible for defusing terrorist threats inside of Canada, unless the war measures act is used. It was not the military that took down Aaron Driver. It was a joint effort between the FBI and the police.

Even in the second world war, I would not have sent troops over to Europe. The war only took place because of the botched treaties of the first world war. Europe is not our problem. Stalin could have defeated Germany on his own.

At the end of the day, I would prefer to save Canadian lies and tax dollars.

“He went for a photo op (to Vimy) and to give another of his disgusting spiels on his view of Canada.”

And when Junior isn’t doing his spiel for the cameras the CBC is.
Interesting bit about the CBC has surfaced:

You think CBC would have learnt their lesson after their last debacle.

http://canadafreepress.com/article/cbc-airs-anti-white-rap-video
“The anti-white video aired at a time when the CBC is, surprise, surprise, asking for more money. Last week, the broadcaster asked for a further $400 million a year. Television advertising is becoming harder to obtain so the corporation wants to change the model to the one used by the BBC. The money is to replace advertising and lost sales as well as give the CBC the ability to create more Canadian content. We learned last week Canadian content includes bashing white people and hoping they one day disappear.”

I heard Jt slip and almost call it your country instead of his country in the presented election speech clip. Freudian perhaps? He went for a photo op (to Vimy) and to give another of his disgusting spiels on his view of Canada. Maurice Potvin got that so right. I noticed a TV clip where they (the two princes, Jt and others) were coming down a staircase. PM is dressed right and in an elite group, they all are presenting a somber face and there’s our idiot stick waving and grinning like he’s at a Disney park for the day. I hope Canadians don’t really think like Penson and anonymous and elect that twit again.

Some people like Space Moose wonder why people make a “stink” over a battle fought 100 yrs ago.
If it were not for the brave men & women who wore the uniform & fought for us, we would not have the life we have today. Those who fought entered into the battle no knowing whether they would live or die.
I say we not only mourn the ones who died, but also thank God they lived.

Bravo many did and won’t say they did. Why?Don’t want to admit you voted for a fool.

SALLY CITIZEN CITIZEN commented, “The Tories are so worried about being labelled ‘Alt-Right’ that they seem to go too far left. Rona Ambrose does indeed seem Red Tory aka Liberal. Nice hair though!”
Indeed, as ‘interim’ leader Red Tory Rona Ambrose, along with Michelle Rempel and others like Michael Chong and Patrick Brown have been nudging the Conservative Party of Canada to the left. Ambrose joins the Appeasers Hall of Fame that includes the likes of Brian Jean, Jason Kenney and Chris Alexander. Pathetic. They should remember the words of Winston Churchill, “An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last.”
PAUL MCCULLOUGH commented, “The CPC needs an actual Conservative leader”. Indeed. Like Brad Trost, a genuine, principled conservative – a “!00% Conservative” across the spectrum.

Anonymous said, “So what the hell makes you all think you’ere all better off with the CPC over the liberals?”

Because the Conservative are business friendly, run the economy far better, support freedom of speech and association, support the nuclear family, cut taxes instead of increasing taxes and creating new ones, and are generally better for the upward climb of society. The Liberal are none of those things.

So yes, Anonymous, we are far better off as a society and individually with the Conservatives in power.

Jerry, you have to show the full clip of PMJTs’ Vimy Ridge news conference. The one with a huge gaffe & delay, the one the CBC edited for the National.

This is just another photo op for our little dictator. I’m surprised he didn’t plant his cardboard image there. It would have represented his faux respect for our veterans, in the light of truth and reality!

“WE live in Canada. We are not in any danger of any military threats from any other countries. Hence, why military intervention that includes conscription is totally unnecessary and ultimately damaging to Canadians.”

LOL ok Space Moose, keep living with your head buried in the sand, your arse sticking in the air will make an easy target. Don’t worry though for when the shite hits the fan, and it is coming, real men like Bravo will step up as the geldings like you run for cover.

For your information it is not just “military threats from any other countries” you Space Cadet …er …Moose but that also includes acts of terrorism, acts of violence, etc. How quickly you forget and discount Canadian history –
Pierre Trudeau invoked the War Measures Act in Canada because of homegrown terrorism on our soil.

Space Moose.
The military has perfected turning men into monsters? No, the military trains them to do their job and hopefully to come home to their families alive and in one piece.
Your statement that there are no military threats to Canada is incorrect and terribly naive. Maybe you should think about Russian expansionism in the arctic.
Be advised that Canada’s armed forces have pretty much always been composed of volunteers. There were two short periods of conscription during the two world wars when “zombies” were reqired to serve.
The Kaiser may not have been the worst leader the world has ever seen but what about Hitler?
Just think, if the members of the volunteer militia and first nations warriors were like you and had not fought the Americans in 1812, Donald Trump might be your President. Maybe you should wear a red poopy after all.

The Kaiser was not that bad. We didn’t need to force young men to fight this stupid war.

Worse yet, is that there are people that think it is necessary to support the military, even when it is for pointless exercises. I say leave the rest of the world alone. We could save so much more money and lives that way.

This year I will be wearing a white poppy for remembrance day.

Space Moose – if there were no people to stand up and be counted – limp wrists like you would not be here today. People like you need to be taken out back of the wood shed and spanked with a short piece of 2 × 4 – but then again your stupidity also shows your typical entitled and smug Canadian life style.

Having been protected from almost every bad thing in the world by geographic location, your government – who will give you all the freebies you need to survive (and the cost goes to the tax payer), your military – who actually did help keep the Germans at bay – and the Americans – who provide an umbrella for the smug Canadian to actually think they are special and more.

Your parents – if they are still alive – obviously failed to teach you well – or perhaps they too are people who live the entitled life. In fact as the apple does not usually fall far from the tree – I would bet your parents are – or were – about as useless as you seem to be.

No matter – you are typical and if you are young enough you will actually live to see the evil come to your country. All you have yo do is travel to certain places in the EU to experience it first hand – dare you.

That is if you are able to get out of the basement you live in.

Probably not.

Now – go and read the poem “Tommy”

Cheers

Most people who read and comment here did not vote for the princess who has a limp wrist and a faggoty lisp and now rules Canada – but when you are talking to your friends and family – be aware that MANY of them did.

Space moose, are you really necessary? I don’t see you as filling a necessary niche here. Sean Penson already has that niche covered. It seems to me you’re redundant. Perhaps you have other qualities that you could develop, and in the process make a real positive contribution to society, and feel better about yourself to boot. Just a thought.
commented 2017-04-11 02:15:26 -0400
Why must people still make a stink out of some battle that happened 100 years ago? The Kaiser was never really that bad. If you want to get mad at somebody, then get mad at Borden for his war policy.

Military personnel are not special. They should not get any better treatment than any other working person.

Dismantle the military for all I care.

The military has perfected turning civilians into monsters.

If you are stupid enough to enlist, then you deserve all the consequences of having been in the military.

The male single quarters for senior non commissioned members at CFB Edmonton is also known as the home for battered men. I know one of these guys who lives in these single quarters because when he was on tour in Bosnia his wife at the time cleaned out all of their furniture and their bank account and left him nothing, so he moved into the home for battered men.

The pay for men and women in the Canadian Forces is basically the same, ie, same trade, same rank, same amount of time serving, and the pay will be the same. Do men and women both perform the same job at the same level and deserve the same rate of pay? Do men all perform at the same level and deserve the same rate of pay? I think the answer is no to both questions. Inequities exist and it is just part of life and this is just another feminazi hot button issue the Marxists use against the perceived privileged and arrogant white man.

We may be close to an international war against Russia, Syria and Iran or North Korea and who knows where China will align with. We should have a petition for the Liberals to oblige every newcomer to Canada to be drafted, along with their friends, the leftists retards. If you are a true patriot, don’t go risk your life. We will need you at home in the future.

Look at the face of Trudope when he recites his speeches. He speaks as if he gives a sermon, and there is NO real feelings, no truthfulness at all. It is fake. How Canadians voted for this total fake guy, and believed any of the crap he said or is saying. You have to be dumber than him to believe him. And that’s dumb. I hate this guy like I have not hated anyone else before. Good the vets, sue this corrupt government as much as you can.

KEITH BARNES:
I disagree with what you said about Trudeau.
The gravity of the situation would call for more than a Military Firing Squad…
A state-sanctioned public execution by hanging is much more appropriate…for treason!
Death to traitors.

I am so disgusted that this embarrassing excuse for a prime minister would stand on sacred ground and mouth his ridiculous platitudes when neither he nor his family have any idea of the sacrifices so many have made to allow idiots like him to exist
