Did you hear about the gay pastor in Austin, Texas? He claimed he ordered a cake with the pro-gay marriage slogan “love wins” on it in icing, but the Whole Foods bakery actually wrote “love wins fag” on it.
The pastor filed a massive lawsuit. More than 10,000 news stories were written about this "hate crime."
Except… the cake was in a box with a see-through cover. It’s amazing that he even bought the cake without noticing the slur on top. That’s almost — what’s the word? — unbelievable.
Whole Foods made public the security camera video of pastor buying the hate cake. And it proves the pastor was lying.
Hardly a day goes by without a similar hoax making headlines. Why do the perpetrators do it? Some are just hucksters, but there’s also nothing higher on the ladder of life these days than being a victim. The funny thing is, there are real victims all over the world, raped and killed by ISIS, for example.
But America and Canada are so victim-free, that we have to invent them to feed the outrage industry...
Government pensions are a pyramid scheme that’s almost gone broke. Even undoing Harper’s modest reforms on eligibility ages, as the Liberals are doing, will cost $11 billion a year, every year. My guest Professor Ian Lee says that, instead of putting the retirement age back down to 65, Trudeau should raise it 70, and explains why.
Conservative MP Garnett Genuis talks about the weird fervour with which Trudeau’s Liberals are pushing euthanasia. Genuis agrees that some Liberals are euthanasia “extremists” and says even some people who are in favour of assisted suicide need to know "the fine print" in the Liberals' plan. It’s scary.
And of course, I end up with your message to me, the positive and the negative!
