David Suzuki is now calling for almost half of Canada’s land to be returned to a wild state. Once an idea only held by extreme environmentalists, "rewilding" is now coming into the mainstream, as Suzuki’s Earth Day speech shows.
This isn’t about creating more national parks, or taking the environment into consideration when we build new homes and roads. Rewilding is actually a plan to get rid of as many human beings as possible.
If that sounds crazy, watch and see what activists say in their own words...
My guest Monte Solberg, former Conservative Cabinet Minister, talks with me about the Liberals’ upcoming “cabinet retreat.” (They just had one, but anyway…) You won’t believe how much this one will cost us.
We also talk about the possibility that the PM’s attitude about building pipelines might be softening.
Next, another “recovering politician,” Peter Shurman, joins me to debate the Liberals’ non-stop fundraising scandals. He explains that political donations are “a fact of life” and says we need to be realistic about it. After hearing both sides, did Shurman change your mind?
