Kellie Leitch has entered the leadership contest for the Conservative Party of Canada. Leitch isn’t well-known but she is accomplished: A doctor, professor and MBA. As Conservative MP for Simcoe-Grey, she was a parliamentary secretary, then a cabinet minister.
Word is that tomorrow another candidate will declare, namely Quebec’s Maxime Bernier. Other contenders have been mentioned: Michael Chong; Tony Clement; Jason Kenney; Peter MacKay and even media personality Kevin O’Leary.
For more than a year, these candidates will criss-cross the country selling memberships, selling themselves. That’s too long. We need a strong leader today, to rail against Trudeau’s insane, dangerous policies.
Tonight I’ll talk about what kind of leader the Conservatives should look for.
The Rebel be covering this race. We might even host a candidates debate. And we’ll be at the Conservative convention in a few weeks, in Vancouver.
Every step of the way, we’ll be reminding the party:
Conservatives aren’t just watered down liberals...
Tommy Robinson is my first guest tonight. The author and freedom fighter explains his latest maltreatment by UK officials just for standing up against radical Islam.
NEXT: It sounds insane, but the EU actually uses European taxpayers' money to build Muslim settlements on Jewish land -- to ethnically cleanse the territory of Jews.
Now an Israeli NGO called Regavim is fighting back against this bizarre arrangment, and one of their leaders, Ari Briggs, joins me to talk about it.
FINALLY: My favourite part of the show -- your emails and tweets to me, good and bad!
