Guest Jason Kenney: Is it too late to save Alberta?

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Alberta is a disaster. Unemployment jumped almost a full point last month to 8 per cent. It’s now higher than in Quebec, Ontario or Nova Scotia. For 15-19-year-olds, it’s skyrocketed to 24 per cent.

And Notley insists on raising the minimum wage. How many young people who are barely employable at $11.20 an hour will be let go when Notley thinks their evil corporate bosses can afford to pay 30 per cent more for labour?

Of course, Edmonton is doing just fine. Last year, according to Statistics Canada, public sector jobs in the province grew by 47,000, while 100,000 jobs were lost in the private sector.

Based on this and other economic indicators, I’m worried about Alberta’s reputation as a place to invest.

My guest Jason Kenney may be facing off against Notley in the 2019 provincial election. Is there anything he thinks we can do?

We talk about the Alberta NDP's junk lawsuit (they're basically suing themselves over cancelled power contracts), Kenney points out that this move is an assault on the sanctity of contracts, which the entire free enterprise system relies on.

THEN David Harris, Director of the International Intelligence Program for INSIGNIS, joins me to talk about a troubling story about a former Washington, DC transit officer who converted to Islam who has been charged with helping ISIS.

Harris talks about the implications of this case. Isn't it only a matter of time before we see a Muslim law enforcement officer use his own weapons in a terror attack?

He says Muslims themselves have been raising the alarm about the loyalty of some police officers in Canada and the U.S, and he gives some troubling examples.

FINALLY: Your messages to me about my trip to Montreal, and our new anti-OPEC billboard on wheels!

I miss Ralph Klein so much.

Alberta’s economy has been suffering, and so has the labour force of Alberta.

We can blame politicians and political ideologies all we want, but Alberta is subject to the price of oil.

Perhaps The Rebel could do some investigation to find out the root causes of this low oil price, and how it is impacting Albertans.

I hazard to disagree ‘on who will be Alberta’s next Premier. The Wild Rose Party was formed to oppose the “Progressive” nature of the PC Party & ever single thing’ Jason Kenney promised on the show, can safely be assumed to (also) be implemented by the Wild Rose’. Brian Jean deserves the leadership position as there is just too much Pee in the PC’s. Wild Rose in 2019’!

I believe that Brian Jean has been the only opposition to Notley and has been very consistent in doing his job. The PC party has been taken over by the liberals and I can no longer support them. The Wildrose party has a large membership and would be the logical choice to fold the real conservatives into. That said I believe that Brian Jean deserves to be leader and Premier in waiting.

That’s all good, but Kenney still hasn’t explained to Alberta how he is going to unite the right. There are probably a lot of people just like Ken Hanson, who will dig their heels in against the Alberta conservatives. I really can’t blame them. How will he scour out that party? Should there be a name change since the PC’s are so hated for their misuse of power in Alberta. Will he and Brian Jean both agree to a coalition, will one be absorbed by the other? What is Jason Kenney going to do to unite the people of Alberta?

Regarding Notely and her marauding maniacs, they not only need to be brought down, they should absolutely be chased out of Canada.

Ken Hanson said, "I will never vote provincial pc ever again no matter who is running it. "

It is hard headedness like this from the supporters of both Conservative parties that will keep the Conservative vote split in Alberta, so keep the bull head stubbornness going, Notley will love you for it.

Since 9/11 – IN THE NAME OF ISLAM: 31,466 Attacks, 199,846 Killed, 280,612 Injured…. that we know of.

Ezra, how about inviting Brian Jean on your program and asking him the same questions you asked Jason Kenney?

A lot of the young people have been beguiled by the socialist message drummed into them by the media and the education system. Witness the strong support socialist Bernie Sanders received from young Americans. Hopefully the consequence of elevated unemployment of young Albertans as a result of the socialist NDP policies will be like a douse of cold water to the reality of the so-called utopia promised by the socialists.

I’m proud to say I’ve been with you from the start. I’m sorry to say I’m very angry. Lets just go find em and kil them. I’ve lived the Lauren Southern report on the rape judge. Dismiss any relevant testimony. I hope to Christ we can turn this around by being aware of the 5 Ps. Thanks rebel

Hi, Regan, I totally agree with you, I just don’t find Brian Jean has what it takes, he just doesn’t come across very good to us here, wish a new name and a new leader would happen soon to give us a little hope.

he has what it takes , I like bian jean but he just does not have what is takes , him and Kenny would be unstoppable and they know it, notley is done the ndp is finished, they will run up the debt but the gov workers cannot save them they are hated from one end of the province to the other, They had a chance to make a difference but they threw it all way, they are toast

I will never vote provincial pc ever again no matter who is running it. The party is corrupt and rotten to the core and loaded with liberal progressives. Dare I point out that Jason Kenney accepted a position as an MP in the last federal election and he owes his bosses (you know those little people who voted him in) a good deal more service than he is offering. VOTE WILDROSE, UNITE THE RIGHT AND FUCK THE PCs AND NDP!

Muslims should not be permitted to join the Police Force. It dose not make sense to arm an individual or individuals, with a firearm, if said individuals have ingrained in their brains, the words of the Quran, that state that they must kill all who will not convert to Islam.

This is akin to giving a Pyromaniac a box of matches.

I really like Jason Kenney and I hope and pray that he is the next premier of AB. I’m very relieved to hear that the next provincial election will be in 2019, I thought they could push it to 2020. I love that Jason is out speaking to the people, because that commie Notley and the MSM have tried to silence us.

Ezra, how many of your listeners drive pickup trucks, with a big tailgate, begging to become a billboard? Could you create something (magnetic) to put on my truck? I would pay for the magnet info.
I know each region would be different, with different messages, but I have done it for election candidates, why not you?
Your “Fire Wynne” decals are WAY too small.
I need a BIG message for my truck! Think about it!

So will Jason Kenny straighten out Patrick Brown? I don’t think so. The Saudis have their dicks too deeply stuck up their asses!

Jason was unequivocal about repealing the carbon tax.
