CBC’s revenue drops 62%. A real company would be bankrupt.

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Interesting story from online news source Blacklocks: “CBC Revenues Nosedive 62%.”

What would happen if your company lost 62 per cent of your revenues?

Many newspapers and magazines in Canada have lost 62 per cent of their ad revenues, too, which is why a newspaper or magazine is shut down every month in Canada, or has massive layoffs every quarter.

Only the CBC is immune.

They blew their Hockey Night in Canada deal but Trudeau rewarded them with a $150 million dollar campaign pledge and another $675 million on top of it.

Imagine Steve Bannon of Trump’s White House appropriating $15 billion to give to Breitbart.com. Well, that’s exactly what Trudeau is doing.

Most of the CBC’s operations are exempt from Access to Information. They lied about Peter Mansbridge’s $2 million salary, and never disclose how many people are watching.

The Rebel had 24.9 million views last month.

Amazing — thank you! On a shoestring budget, too. Precisely none of which came from the government.

If they were a real company, the CBC be out of business within one payroll period.

They’re being propped up by Trudeau, with your money. Which means exactly what you think it means:

You just can’t trust anything they say.

NEXT: The Rebel's Brian Lilley (who literally wrote the book on the CBC) comes on to talk some more about what is going on at the state broadcaster.

THEN: Our newest Rebel, Tommy Robinson, joins me to talk about the refusal by UK police to prosecute Muslims who practice female genital mutilation, for fear of being called "racist."

Wait, is the liar whose not smart enough to use quotation marks and clearly write what he thinks talking again? Talk about desperate.

I can’t be bothered to click on your alleged Canarylane link Jack. You know, given your obsession with boys (including your own son) in dresses.

Nnaumbua Farrell,

I did post what I mean numerous times. Why didn’t your brain process that? Do you only have short term memory. Maybe you start at the beginning and read this entire thread over again, so that things are cleared up for you.

Nnaumbua Farrell,

If you go to their website – there are stories posted daily like the link I provided.

Clicking on links actually helps.

Yes, the magazine itself isn’t daily.

I’ll know better for next time.
commented 2017-03-01 21:05:40 -0500
LOL

I’m sorry Jack, I shouldn’t have assumed that you were smart enough to write what you mean.

Nnaumbua Farrell,

Actually I clearly did state more than once than Canadaland isn’t a daily news site, so you should have already been aware of what I meant instead of focusing on the one time I forgot to include the word “daily”.

Perhaps if The Rebel could afford a proper comment section, people could edit any mistakes they may have made. I am sure people like you would happily pay for it.

Calm down Jack. You need to learn how to clearly express yourself. You didn’t clearly state that Candyland wasn’t a daily news site even if you meant to say it.

" Maclean’s is a news site. Canadaland isn’t…"

Sorry Jack.
commented 2017-03-01 20:52:43 -0500
Nnaumbua Farrell,

Macleans does daily updates online.

Done and done, bitch

You lose – no matter how you to try to spin it.
commented 2017-03-01 20:52:40 -0500
And you used daily to refer to the number of days in a week on which Canaryland provided reports. You said it was about three times a week.

Nnaumbua Farrell,

Macleqns does daily updates online.

Done and done, bitch

You lose – no matter how you to try to spin it.

Sorry Jack, you’re lying again. If you meant Candyland wasn’t a daily news site, as compared to Maclean’s, then you also meant to say that Maclean’s was a daily news site. It isn’t it’s weekly.
commented 2017-03-01 20:30:09 -0500
Nnaumbua Farrell,

I clearly stated and meant daily news site and just proved the difference between Macleans and Canadaland regarding said daily news.

Done and done, bitch.
commented 2017-03-01 20:27:17 -0500
Lol. You explicitly stated Candyland wasn’t a news site.
commented 2017-03-01 20:14:13 -0500
Nnaumbua Farrell,

Well then let me quote one of your posts.

“CANADALAND is a news site and podcast network funded by its audience. Our primary focus is on media criticism and media reporting. CANADALAND is registered as a limited liability corporation with the province of Ontario (2460079 Ontario, Inc).”

1. You were already aware about the OUR if you know how to read.

2. They state their primary focus which confirms that they are don’t cover the daily news like Macleans does. Oh look:

commented 2017-03-01 20:07:16 -0500
Then why did you say this Jack?

" Maclean’s is a news site. Canadaland isn’t…"
commented 2017-03-01 20:02:21 -0500
Nnaumbua Farrell,

I couldn’t be more calm.

I clearly said that Canadaland isn’t a DAILY news site like The Rebel or The Toronto Star if you actually need further clarification.
commented 2017-03-01 19:57:57 -0500
Take it easy Jack. Quotation marks were invented for a reason.

Now, you said Candyland was wasn’t a daily news site. Then you changed to saying it wasn’t a news site at all. Then you implied it was. Would you like your quotes to help you out Jack?
commented 2017-03-01 19:45:41 -0500
Nnaumbua Farrell,

The OUR was a quote from Canadaland’s own description. You know that. I hope you do anyway, otherwise you are dumber than I could have possible imagined.

Canadaland is not a daily news site. A simple click on their website would confirm that, but their media industry content is still under the umbrella of news.

If you don’t still don’t understand, I can’t help you.
commented 2017-03-01 19:41:09 -0500
David,

If the majority of Canadians were conservative – I couldn’t argue against the CBC appealing to the masses. But that isn’t the case. CBC are appealing to the majority of Canadians, who are liberal.

I don’t pay union dues. I am not in a union.
commented 2017-03-01 19:40:11 -0500
Annnnd cue adhominem.
commented 2017-03-01 19:38:43 -0500
It’s good of you to defend a CBC has been who isn’t known as well as Ezra.

Why did you say our twice Jack? Did you twice misspeak because you’re not smart?
And is Candylane a news site Jack? Yes or no buddy.
commented 2017-03-01 19:37:22 -0500
JACK…..Would you still be the cbc devotee you are if by some chance tomorrow they totally flip flopped, promoted only conservative party ideals, and mocked and disparaged the liberals.?In all honesty would you be good with that? To the non answer on my other question, I must assume your union dues are paid up and you would have no problem which political entities the union “bosses” sent your money to.

Of course we all cringe at where tax money ends up much of the time. When the cbc dips into the realm of political favoritism and propaganda t6o promote one party, USING TAX PAYER MONIES to do so, I have a problem with that. With the knowledge you claim to have, you should have a problem with that as well. Could it be that you lack some knowledge?

Nnaumbua Farrell,

I am quite calm and laughing at your idiocy.

I am not Jesse Brown, so whatever you think is irrelevant and I am quite sure that the actual Jesse Brown wouldn’t care what someone named Nnaumbua thinks. His record speaks for itself.
commented 2017-03-01 19:32:27 -0500
And what’s up with this our pronoun you’ve twice used?
commented 2017-03-01 19:25:20 -0500
Don’t be a nobody like Jesse Black. Answer the question Jack.
commented 2017-03-01 19:22:23 -0500
Calm down Jack. Don’t be angry that I’ve repeated your own words both explicit and implicit. Is Candylane a news site Jack? Yes or no buddy.
commented 2017-03-01 19:17:18 -0500
Nnaumbua Farrell,

So you are confirming that you have a reading comprehension problem, even when you posted it initially.

Cool. Understood.

No wonder The Rebel is your speed – you need to spoonfed bullshit visually.
commented 2017-03-01 19:12:39 -0500
Jesse Brown’s a nobody, just like his site.
