Man charged over “Islamophobic” tweets ordered to see psychiatrist

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Anthony Padula is the 45-year old Montreal man who was arrested last week for writing something mean on Twitter. Padula is actually a liberal who was arguing with someone critical of Islam.

At one point, Padula tweeted sarcastically:

Nobody was reading it. Except a cop, who came to Padula’s house, arrested him, and charged him with the crime of spreading “hate.”

He’s been barred from using the Interet on any device, or possess a firearm (which he doesn’t, anyway.)

But get this:

Padula was ordered to see his doctor within 48 hours of release, and take any medication and follow any treatment prescribed. (…)

Padula’s lawyer, Anna Levin, said her client was interviewed Thursday morning by a criminologist at the Institut Philippe-Pinel psychiatric hospital…

Is that not what they used to do in the Soviet Union, and still do in North Korea and China and Cuba?

The mass shooting at a Quebec City mosque is being used as a political weapon, to silence anyone who has genuine questions about public policy, like immigration, refugees, terrorism, crime, sharia law, jobs, language skills, misogyny — all the things that mass Muslim migration brings.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist. No need to be.

No need for theories, when there are this many facts.

WATCH as I lay them all out...

NEXT: Donald Trump has repeatedly promised that going forward, would-be immigrants would be subjected to "extreme vetting."

Dr. Daniel Pipes joins us to talk about his comprehensive list of suggested questions and methodology he says the Trump administration could and should use during this process.

THEN: Our own Gavin McInnes has recently endured confrontations from violent "anti-fascist" protesters, even getting pepper-sprayed when he went to speak at NYU.

He and I talk about the divide among conservatives when it comes to how to deal with these escalating assaults.

@harley McCartney…islamic scripture consists of two parts. First there is the koran (Arabic for “read” in the imperative) “Read!! Read this oh infidel! Read it and believe!” is it’s titulary line. It is supposedly what the illiterate mohammed dictated to scribes as a sort of California New Age channelling exercise.

The other part is called the “hadith” , these are collections of rememberances of the acts and words of mohammed collected after his death from proported witnessess. There are six major hadiths and countless minor ones, sort of like the miriade of gnostic writings, apocrapha, pseudopigrapha, etc in christian scripture.

Saloman Rusdie wrote a “historic novel” based on one of these obscure hadiths (sort of like the Gospel of Thomas).

Ayatolla Khomenie issued a death fatwa for blasphemy because the Shiites consider the hadith to be apostacy.

Calling it “islamophobia” would be a real streach even under sharia law because there is really no concensus in sharia law even between the various sects of islam.

I hope all those who voted liberal take some responsibility for what the liberals are now doing to our Country, I hope even more that you realize your mistake and take steps to help your fellow Canadians to get rid of their ilk.

So forgive e if I get the spelling wrong, Salman Rushdie, author of satanic verses would be arrested in Canada then for hate speak if bill m-103 passes. He already has a fatwa? Murder if seen price on his head from the religion of peace. Now he has to fear here in Canada? WTF.

Just got my e-mail back from Bernier; he will be voting against Bill M-103, while the liberal Ambrose wants a $50.00 donation, probably to pay for her vacation.
This M103 is so important, I hope everyone e-mails their favorite candidate

It seems they want to replace Islamaphobia with dictaphobia.

- The handling of Anthony Padula almost sounds like something out of the Soviet Union. Was the last election supposed to be a mandate for Trudeau to be dictator? He seems to think so. This is disgusting. How long before the US closes its border with Canada because our idiot man-child makes us a security risk?

- These black block wimps are only brave when they have overwhelming numbers on their side.

Hopefully Padula’s doctor will prescribe voting conservative.

Jay Kelly: This isn’t about salvation. This is about mass migration from some of the most dangerous regions on the planet during a time of conflict. It also serves to remember that many of these countries were Christian before they were over taken and those other religions live as second class citizens and are now the ones in some cases facing annihilation. During the WW2 we stopped immigration from Germany as did the U.S. and other allies. This was about keeping our countries safe not salvation.

Maybe we should replace the term Islamophobic with the word blasphemy . When the rubber hits the road , criminal charges will be laid for insulting Islam which is blasphemy. This will require expert testimony and only a religious scholar or religious leader , a Muslim will be able to determine the guilt or innocence of the accused. Judges of course will make the determination , but given that they are not religious scholars, they will defer to the mullah or Islamic expert. In reality , we will have Islamic religious courts sanctioned by Parliament. It will be the equivalent of the Spanish Inquisition.
Mutaween and Sharia Courts. Thanks Justin and your Islamic Liberal Party

This just proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that not only will the Globalist/Communists prey on anyone that disagrees with their ideology, but destroying their lives, but that they shall turn on their own once they have silenced anyone with Conservative virtues that believes in free speech.

I have no use for these politically correct Bozo’s that are destroying freedom in Canada. While I disagree with the Liberal view point, I do support the right for them to express their opinions freely without persecution or prosecution.

As I commented below, it is inconceivable that Conservatives, who should uphold conservative values and principles, would take us down such a dangerous path towards limiting our constitutional right to freedom of expression! Thus, the upcoming vote on Motion M-103 will be a litmus test distinguishing the true Conservatives from those that are not, joining the traitors, the Liberal and NDP MPs, who are selling out our country.
Michael Chong’s constituency office has declared that Chong (whose vision is “a much bigger, more inclusive” Conservative Party) will be voting for M-10-3. Kellie Leitch has said that she will not. CPC leadership candidate Pierre Lemieux opposes M-103 and has appealed to his Conservative colleagues to stand against M-103, not being “Liberal Light”, helping the Liberals move their social agendas forward. The others?

Harold Hoff said: “Ralph Goodale, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. You sound very sincere in your hopes to deprogram intolerance, but this approach flies against fundamental human nature. Telling people to shut up, keep it bottled up inside because you’ve got “wrong think” is just the match to light the fuse of intolerance, hate anddivisiveness. You’re inciting a dramatic increase in the problem you’re hoping to solve. 10 years from now, when the damage is done, will you remember when I told you so?”

That is exactly right. It will be bottled up in people who are not free to express themselves. And when it does come out, look out.

First point, if you wanted to go back in history to nip a political agitator in the bud Hitler is not the optimal target…Karl Marx is. There would not have been a Hitler had there been no Karl Marx. If Hitler survived WW1 and gotten into politics at best he might have made mayor of Munich and perhaps been remembered (by very few) for notable oratory in German, and perhaps for some sports stadium or art gallery done in a bombastic archetectural style.

Second, so they threw the butterfly net over that guys rant tweet but let that BLM bitch incite race war. What is the criteria for arrest? BTW psyciatic assessments are under the Mental Health Act not under the Criminal Code.

Things are comming to a head, if the rumours I am hearing are true next week will be the most newsworthy week in decades and Trump’s approval rating will go through the roof.

What’s truly bizarre about this is that a man can be arrested for verbally sparring with an opponent on Twitter, but Yusra Khogali can block traffic in the back of a truck, on a downtown Toronto street, armed with a loudspeaker, all the while yelling about white supremacy. She’s the same one who wanted to kill men and white folks last year. Somehow, she’s never arrested. She’s never ordered by a court to see a psychiatrist. Two very different sets of standards.

Hi Ezra, thank-you for making the fact that this “Islamophobe” Twitterer was ordered to see a Psychiatrist your main news story tonight. In my opinion this ability by the Government to use Psych wards and poisonous drugs as a political weapon to silence opponents is not being reported on enough. I personally am one who has and is having this tactic being used on me and I can tell you it ruins peoples lives. I encourage you to consider investigating more about forced Psych admissions and how they are out of control in North America and doing another show on it as this could be something you too might face one day (as you have said). Please also consider making tonight’s episode the one you choose to make free to the public as this information is crucial to where our Country is and where it is heading with motions like M-103 so that more people can take action like signing The Rebels petition against anti-free speech in Canada. Thanks.

I noticed yesterday that while all this uproar about protests was going on and the Quebec shooting still hasn’t been fully reported by media because they don’t know exactly what did happen there, the Liberals, of course, looking for more money, are considering breaking another election promise and raising the retirement age from 65 to 67 or at least giving less money to those who retire at 65 and more money to those who retire at 67. This is similar to what they did with Liberal Motion M-103, by trying to sneak it though parliament without informing Canadians that their free speech could be in jeopardy and then trying to gain sympathy for the Motion because of the Quebec shooting.

Therefore, it would be safe to say that Liberals use diversionary tactics to ram through parliament measures that could be considered unpopular or not in the best interests of Canadians. While Canadians watch the outrageous protests, they are oblivious to real changes in government that are going to effect their everyday lives.

It’s diabolical!

Hey Ezra. You should stop worrying about the government trying to shut the rebel down. Instead, you should be worried about getting thrown into the nut house for your views on Muslim immigration.

At the rate that Canada is going at, it won’t be long before Canadians are moving to Hungary to get away from it all.

Jane Avis I agree. If what Syed Hussan said in his rant at the T.O. rally doesn’t qualify as hate speech then nothing does. How does he get away with that? How does ignoring the law when it is the selected minority not cause more distrust and friction? This accommodation and anything goes if it’s BLM or Islam is going to cause big problems, and it will be on Justin’s head. There is no longer any equality. There are second class citizens in this country who do not have the same rights as others and it’s us. Until we are the minority in this country and as Syed Hussan has stated or threatened, our way of life dissipates under their feet, they will not be satisfied.

I want anyone on the left who is reading this to understand that I don’t hold my opinions because of Ezra or Faith or anyone else. I do my own homework as do most who come here. My opinions are my own so stop saying the Rebel is inciting anything. I’m talking to you cbc.

And if Muslims reject their unholy false prophet and accept Jesus Christ they can be saved too.
commented 2017-02-08 01:27:46 -0500
Jesus Christ went out of his way to the Samaritan woman. She was not a Jew; she was a gentile. Somehow Jesus felt it necessary to make a point that not only Jews can be saved, but so can Samaritans and Syrians and others in the mid-East.

Jay Kelly tries to change the narrative by writing posts for the express purpose of denigrating Christians. I’m sure they’ll be doing a mental assessment. How much does trolling pay these days?
commented 2017-02-08 01:00:48 -0500
Ron Voss, you are correct. Even the conservative voices seem to be playing a game with the word “islam”. Instead of islam itself being the problem (which it is) they keep qualifying and modifying it with prefixes and suffixes so as not to offend they who must not be named. The only vetting can be NOT ONE MORE!
