Anthony Padula is the 45-year old Montreal man who was arrested last week for writing something mean on Twitter. Padula is actually a liberal who was arguing with someone critical of Islam.
At one point, Padula tweeted sarcastically:
I am against all those things and I need you to prove you are also, by killing all refugees at the airport before they come rape your family https://t.co/Y5xiQReNql— Hermit Spirit (@Hermit_Spirit) January 31, 2017
Nobody was reading it. Except a cop, who came to Padula’s house, arrested him, and charged him with the crime of spreading “hate.”
He’s been barred from using the Interet on any device, or possess a firearm (which he doesn’t, anyway.)
But get this:
Padula was ordered to see his doctor within 48 hours of release, and take any medication and follow any treatment prescribed. (…)
Padula’s lawyer, Anna Levin, said her client was interviewed Thursday morning by a criminologist at the Institut Philippe-Pinel psychiatric hospital…
Is that not what they used to do in the Soviet Union, and still do in North Korea and China and Cuba?
The mass shooting at a Quebec City mosque is being used as a political weapon, to silence anyone who has genuine questions about public policy, like immigration, refugees, terrorism, crime, sharia law, jobs, language skills, misogyny — all the things that mass Muslim migration brings.
I’m not a conspiracy theorist. No need to be.
No need for theories, when there are this many facts.
WATCH as I lay them all out...
NEXT: Donald Trump has repeatedly promised that going forward, would-be immigrants would be subjected to "extreme vetting."
Dr. Daniel Pipes joins us to talk about his comprehensive list of suggested questions and methodology he says the Trump administration could and should use during this process.
THEN: Our own Gavin McInnes has recently endured confrontations from violent "anti-fascist" protesters, even getting pepper-sprayed when he went to speak at NYU.
He and I talk about the divide among conservatives when it comes to how to deal with these escalating assaults.
