Khadr payout proves Trudeau cares more about terrorists than veterans (Guest host: Jerry Agar)

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

(Jerry Agar guest hosts for Ezra Levant...) How does convicted terrorist Omar Khadr get a settlement cheque faster than you can get a tax refund?

Trudeau campaigned on the promise that he would be better for veterans than Harper was.

So far? Our veterans and their widows get court fights and delays — but there's a hurry-up for Khadr, so as to beat a U.S. soldier’s widow out of the money.

I’ll also look at the NDP’s search of a new leader. All the candidates are vying to be the one with the best income redistribution program, but is that policy the best way to help the poor?

I explain why sometimes, “tough love” and encouraging personal responsibility are better ideas.

NEXT: Rebel contributor and Sun columnist Candice Malcolm joins me to talk about the shocking details of the Liberals’ $10.5 million payout to Khadr.

THEN: Peter Shurman, former Progressive Conservative MPP, comes on to talk about everything that’s wrong about the Ontario Liberals’ minimum wage hike.

PS: For most of this week, Ezra Levant is in Iraq, along with other members of The Rebel team!

But on tonight's show, he explains how you can play a part in this special mission.

What Ezra Levant and the like won’t tell you.

“An Ontario Superior Court judge has turned down a request for a freeze order on Omar Khadr’s $10.5-million settlement.

Lawyers for the widow of a U.S. soldier killed in Afghanistan, and another injured U.S. soldier, were in court seeking a freeze order pending the final outcome of their bid to get an Ontario court to force Mr. Khadr to hand over his settlement to them.

We don’t, thank goodness, in Canada have one law for Omar Khadr and one law for all other Canadians," Justice Belobaba told the courtroom in announcing his decision.

Khadr settlement far from unprecedented; U.K., Australia made similar deals

With the $10,000,000. dollar payout and apology, Justin Trudeau, along with the ‘Liberal’ controlled Supreme Court, are ‘VIRTUE SIGNALLING’ a message to Conservatives; as well as to Liberals and the rest of the world. That is to say, … ‘the Liberal Government of Canada places the responsibility for all Islamic hatred & violence against the West on past Conservative Government Policies’; while ignoring almost 1400 years of historical evidence of a religious hatred for the uniquely Western concept of freedom and liberty. The ‘devout’ followers of the Koran believe in only one supreme form of government; Sharia Law. Sadly, the default position of Liberals and people on the Left is,’ to always take the side of the perceived VICTIM’, so long as they’re NOT Conservative or Christian. The government should stop trying to ‘impress’ the globalist leaders at the UN and G20, and instead act on behalf of the majority of Canadian’s wishes (71%) to sustain a free and democratic future for Canadians. LEGAL immigration is to be welcomed & encouraged, but we should NOT so readily change our laws within our society to accommodate what can only be considered as an ‘inferior’ religion and culture. It’s in the immigrants’ best interest by far, to adapt to Canadian Culture as soon as possible.

Anonymous, careful or that heart on your sleeve is going to bleed to death.
Last time I checked it was Muslims killing Muslims. Why does that make it our obligation to take them in?
Last time I checked ISIS was a Muslim construct( of many races).
This isn’t about race, it is about the ‘religion’ of satan and death.

Bring the third world to Canada and that is what we will become. Omar and his family should never have been let in so that Omar could be born here in the first place. Anonymous, have you no compassion for the Speer family, and what if the soldier killed had been Canadian? Omar left his country to fight against it.

Cry me a river Anonymous. Justin is the one who is ‘prioritizing’ by NOT bringing in Christians.

So if Khadr received millions and an apology for his Charter Rights being denied, can we assume a precedent has been set by Trudeau?
Paul Bernardo’s Charter Right of “security of person” was denied in jail when he was assaulted. Since he’s in the custody of the federal gov’t, does that entitle him to cash and an apology too? Apologies and cash should be forthcoming to all prisoners assaulted in federal custody (for having their Charter Rights violated), no?
Tell me how the Khadr precedent does not apply to ALL Canadians in custody that were abused?

- The Liberals have no morals or values. Their agenda is to gain power at any cost & hold power at any cost. Once they have that power they represent globalists, not Canadians. They do all of this with the full support of the bought & paid for mainstream fake news media. They are a disgrace.

- Trudeau is a lying sack of garbage who cares more about his socks than he cares about Canadians. The only way the Liberals won’t have to face this story come next election is if (when) they do something far worse.

- The $15 min. wage has been a disaster wherever it’s been implemented. The Ontario Liberals are the poster children for failed policies.

- Wealth redistribution is never about helping the poor. It’s about creating dependency & stealing wealth. Notice that the ones doing the distributing are always well off? It’s about destroying the middle class through forever increasing taxes on employers & employees. Leftists don’t have morals – at least at the leadership level. They could care less about the poor. Now they’re taking this to the global level.

I suspect there is a lot of funny business going on with this Omar payout. I wouldn’t be surprised if that money was tagged from the beginning. Omar couldn’t give it to the widow if he wanted to. You can be sure Trudeau is getting something out of this as well as Omar’s ‘friends’. That money is already spent. Why else would Trudeau have handled it in this in manner?

Khadr waived his rights – agreed Candice.

Trudeau saying that the Charter applies to all Canadians, he is wrong it does not apply to firearms owners Bill C68 violets the charter about 17 times, so the Charter does not apply to just over 2 million Canadians.

(Copy and paste from Holly’s Scheer article, because I posted it there by mistake first)

Given the Supreme Court of Canada’s previous ultra-liberal, uber-stupid, un-be-fucking-lievable
decisions on the Khadr case, I had thought that the $20M lawsuit launched by his lawyers would probably be a slam dunk; and recognizing the subversion of the Canadian “justice” system those decisions represented, I could actually see the perverted reasons behind the $10.5M settlement as having saved the Canadian taxpayer a lot of money (as Goodale alluded to). Not that I agreed with that – this is one instance where, despite it probably costing the full $20M, plus punitive damages, plus court costs, I would have actually approved of the government waste to fight a failed cause in the name of what is right.

But upon further thought, if it was such a slam dunk, why would Khadr’s lawyer agree to settle? (Pro bono, my ass. That vulture and his team of worms have been angling to pick at the carcass of this settlement from day one, and the bigger and fatter that carcass is, the better for them.) And that brings up the question of just what is in the “confidentiality agreement” that Goodale and Raybould-Wilson found it so convenient to hide behind during their joint statement.

Here’s one rampantly wild, conspiracy-theorist speculation for y’all to consider. They already knew about the U.S. court judgement awarding the widow Mrs. Speer far more than this settlement, and that her lawyers would file for this settlement cross-border if they couldn’t keep it out of the public eye until the money was “disappeared”. If an international injunction against payment, or lien against the settlement had succeeded, Khadr would get nothing. (The vulture and his worms would get to keep their share, that judgement was not against them.) Did Khadr and his team agree to settle for so much less because of a clause in that confidentiality agreement that will guarantee indemnifying him against outside judgements – in effect, to replace the money he loses to the widow Speer’s lawsuit? Is that where the other $9.5M went? And we would never know, because the confidentiality agreement is, well, confidential, so the Canadian government of the day could have hidden anything in it.

Just a thought.

Anonymous, did you watch Ezra’s report? – Save the Christians is a mission to help, as help is needed.
Are you not aware the most persecuted people in the world are Christians? Who is targeting Christians worldwide? Yes, it is Islamists who are killing them.

Smilin Scheer needs to get some lessons from Trump and Paul Joseph Watson on how to throw out some “red meat”.

A REBEL FAN: Exactly my point. Group identity bias is what the problem really is. Right wingers only value human lives if they’re either christian (preferably white) or haven’t been born yet.
commented 2017-07-11 04:34:51 -0400
ANONYMOUS, you’re angry with right-wingers while it’s the UN putting priority on aid to Muslims so that others can’t even go to refugee camps that radical Islamists control that’s the problem here. Don’t blame Ezra or right-wingers for problems the UN creates.

commented 2017-07-11 03:12:00 -0400
The man who says Islam is not a race is saying christians are being ethnically cleansed. We are all human for fucks sake. There are christians and muslims of all races. The rebel medias audience fails to understand that. They hate the religion of Islam and devout muslims more then they hate the atrocities against human beings (FUCK RELIGION) committed by ISIS. ISIS is committing atrocities against human beings. We have to stop with this tribal group identity bullshit because that allows ISIS to win. There needs to be solidarity between muslims and christians.

I can go on about the hypocrisies of right wingers. You people say you’re pro life yet you want the government to prioritize refugees according to their religion. What about atheists? What about human beings overall?

There is actually a legal precedent in Canada for this. It has been swept under the rug with political correctness and the appology to interned Japanese .

It is the case of Keneo “Kamloops Kenny” Inoue. He was born and raised in Kamloops but decided to go to Japan in the 1930s during the invasion of China. His proficiency in English got him a position in the Kempetai….sort of a blend of the GESTAPO and the provost corps….by the time that Hong Kong fell he was a Captain.

I will not bother to recount his atrocities to the Canadian POWs….suffice to say he was charged with War Crimes….the only Canadian of that era to have that distinction….his lawyer objected that he could not be charged with war crimes because he was a Canadian citizen….the judges said “fine”…changed the charges to treason…and hanged the son of a bitch.

But under a regieme that “A Canadian is a Canadian no matter what he does” ….the notion of “treason” has become moot and meaningless….at least from a liberal perspective.

Khadr was not tortured. He was sleep deprived. Every new parent goes through sleep deprivation. Khadr was not a child soldier according to the UN international law, because he was not under 15. Khadr admitted of killing the American. He was held in Guantanamo by the US, not Canada. He pleaded guikty and was convicted to a lifetime in prison. Harper accepted him back in Canada. He was then released before the end of his sentence. Canadians owe him nothing, nothing.

When Ralph Goodale was asked to clarify the amount paid out to Khadr…..deflected answer. I for one believe the pay out was either more than 10.5M or there are other unmentioned benefits or both.

Also, Trudeau himself stated that the Canadian Gov’t would never cooperate or negotiate with terrorist demands. Guess he forgot about the late Canadians, John Ridsdel and Robert Hall.

You’re nopt all religious bigots. Scholars of Islam hate radical Islam too. Below is an explanation on why it exists.

The Noble Quran by Muhammad Muhsin Khan and Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali:

The Hilali-Khan translation has been criticized for inserting the interpretations of the Wahabi school directly into the English rendition of the Qur’an. It has been accused of inculcating Muslims and potential Muslims with militant interpretations of Islam through parenthesis, as teachings of the Qur’an itself.

Dr. Ahmed Farouk Musa, an academician at Monash University, considered the Hilali-Khan translation as being a major cause of extremism and a work of propaganda distributed by Saudi religious authorities with money from its oil-rich government. Similarly, Imad-ad-Dean Ahmad, head of Bethesda’s Minaret of Freedom Institute, has claimed that the translation is a Wahabi rendering of the Qur’an and is not accepted by Muslims in the US.

A number of academics have also criticized the Hilali-Khan translation on stylistic and linguistic grounds. Dr William S. Peachy, an American professor of English at College of Medicine, King Saud University at Qasseem considered the translation “repulsive” and rejected by anyone outside of Saudi Arabia. Dr. Abdel-Haleem, Arabic Professor at SOAS, London University, noted that he found the Hilali-Khan translation “repelling”.

The Director of King Fahd International Centre for Translation, King Saud University, Riyad, Dr. A. Al-Muhandis, expressed his dissatisfaction with the translation’s style and language, being too poor and simplistic.

The Hilali-Khan translation has also been criticised by several prominent Western Muslim academics as well. Khaleel Mohammed, Sheila Musaji, Robert Crane, and Khaled Abou El Fadl has taken the translation to task for supposed Muslim supremacism and bigotry.

I don’t think words are enough. Even Shakespeare said kill all the lawyers and nothing was done. Jesus words still aren’t comprehended by most, but His actions represented Him and gave us a path to salvation.
Children don’t care if you have money, they need love. If you love them they will prosper.
Most people don’t understand what love is.
Love is a action verb.
