After the Holocaust, most residual anti-Semitism in the civilized west melted away. So what if you’re the Anti-Defamation League, a $55 million a year Jewish lobby group? You just don’t shut that kind of cash cow down.
Now, leftists love to talk about Islamophobia. But it’s Muslim anti-Semitism that’s raging. The ADL is actually needed again. But the problem is, they’re leftists more than they’re Jews.
You have to look hard to find any sign of radical Islam on the ADL’s website.
Instead, their boss, former Obama aide Jonathan Greenblatt, milks Jews — especially little old ladies in Florida and New York — for donations, by whipping up fears about the evil “alt-right.”
Here’s the new front page of the ADL website: “From Alt Right to Alt Lite: Naming the Hate”
I’m familiar with some of the people on the ADL’s list. Most of them are obscure bloggers, pretty much unemployed.
But one of them is my friend and Rebel contributor, Gavin McInnes.
They single out his comedy video "Ten Things I Hate about Jews" (which was later retitled "Ten Things I Hate About Israel.”) I was with Gavin McInnes when he made it. We were in Tel Aviv, on a pro-Israel trip.
The ADL took a Jew-lover and tried to pretend he’s anti-Semitic.
The ADL are the ones who are trivializing the Holocaust and anti-Semitism by turning those ideas into partisan talking points.
They’re about every threat to the Jews except the real, imminent, terrifying, massive one: Islam.
