"Ontario facing ‘epidemic of Islamophobia’ survey finds,” says the Toronto Star headline.
The Star is quoting a survey sponsored by the same people who brought you those anti-white, pro-Muslim posters last month, after the ISIS terrorist attack on an Orlando gay nightclub.
The Star reports:
“Only a third of Ontarians have a positive impression of the religion and more than half feel its mainstream doctrines promote violence (an anomaly compared to other religions).”
So Islamophobia has now been redefined to mean anyone who doesn't like Islam?
Islamophobia is so bad, the Star has to make up examples, citing the “woman wearing a hijab [who] was attacked at a supermarket in London [Ontario] in June.”
I’m glad we’re Islamophobic if it means being afraid of Islam. We should be.
I don’t need more polls to find out what Canadians think of Muslims. What I’d like to see are some polls of Muslims, to find out what they think of us, and our values:
Freedom of speech, our laws (not sharia), tolerance of gays and Jews.
Do you think the Star would report that..?
NEXT: Over the weekend, Black Lives Matter Toronto marched in the city’s Pride parade as a “honoured group.” But then they held a sit-in in the middle of the event, issued demands, and called the Pride organizers racist.
Lorrie Goldstein of the Toronto Sun talks about what happened. It’s incredible, and disturbing.
THEN Professor Tom Flanagan and I talk about Jason Kenney’s recent speech at an Alberta “United the Right” event. It looks like he’s running for the leadership of the Alberta Provincial Conservatives, but is that really where he belongs?
FINALLY: Your letters to me!
