Congratulations to Abdul Haroun, a Muslim migrant from Sudan, the first to cross from Calais, France, to the United Kingdom, by walking through the train tunnel that goes under the English Channel: 31 miles, in a very narrow passageway.
Needless to say, it’s not meant for foot traffic — it’s two train tunnels, where trains whip through at 100 miles per hour. He committed a crime doing that, but here’s the crazy thing: he’s allowed to stay.
Abdul Haroun was hanging out in Calais. Just waiting to commit his crime, with thousands of other Muslim migrants, many from Sudan, other places in Africa, Asia, just waiting to get across. (The Rebel’s Lauren Southern braved the Calais “Jungle” to talk to them, in this video.)
The rougher thugs simply storm aboard trucks. But Haroun was the first to go by tunnel. Two migrants from Iran followed Haroun’s example. They pled guilty, but so what? A slap on the wrist, and then they won the lottery of life.
Tomorrow’s UK referendum on leaving the European Union isn’t about economics. It’s about whether UK will remain its own country or become just an extension of Europe, which has become a de facto geographic extension of the Muslim world.
We’re lucky there aren’t tunnels or bridges long enough to get from Europe to Canada. But with our fool of a prime minister at the helm, there are plenty of airplanes ready to bring Calais to Canada, 50,000 migrants a year...
