Yesterday, the Governor General made an announcement on behalf of the prime minister himself: That one of the nannies Trudeau hired when he was elected has now been fired.
Can you believe our Governor General -- the Queen's representative in Canada -- is dealing with the Trudeaus' childcare arrangements? It's weird, but the Media Party couldn’t care less.
Justin Ling, with that "edgy" online website, Vice, tweeted:
“But seriously, though, folks, the obnoxious pearl-clutching over the prime minister's childcare is the worst and we should be ashamed.”
Of course, the Prime Minister’s office has Ling and Vice on a leash. When Trudeau went to a small Indian reserve in the far north a few months ago, Vice got an exclusive deal to cover it. (Even the Aboriginal Peoples TV network was turned away by Trudeau’s police contingent.)
And have you seen those pictures from the Parliamentary Press Gallery’s annual gala dinner? Each MP brings a journalist. Half of them are dating each other anyway.
Oh, did you know Global News has Trudeau’s photographer’s fiancee covering… Trudeau?
While Liberals treat taxpayers money like their private slush fund, the Media Party are either sleeping with the Liberals, or wish they were.
