See what I did when campus fascists tried to silence me

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Last night I gave a speech at Ryerson University, in downtown Toronto. I was invited by a Conservative students club and a pro-Israel students club.

But I knew that far-left fascists would be there, too.

They’ve already assaulted Rebel reporters Lauren Southern, Sheila Gunn Reid and Gavin McInnes.

Last month, when I was speaking at the University of Toronto, masked left-wing fascist thugs stormed called our reporter Jay Fayza a “white supremacist” and pulled the fire alarm, so I continued my talk outside.

At least at Ryerson this week, campus security and police kept the thugs out.

But for some reason, they were still permitted to deploy sirens for 90 full minutes.

Then they escalated things, so I decided I would take on these fascists, doing something I’ve never done before — but I think I’ll do it again next time.

WATCH to see what it was…

NEXT: Our newest Rebel contributor, Caolan Robertson, joins me from the UK to talk about yesterday’s Islamic terrorist attack in the heart of London.

As you probably know, he and fellow Rebel contributor Tommy Robinson rushed to the scene, and their video report went viral.

Today we talk about the event, the reaction, and what this means for the future of England and the West.

THEN: Garnett Genuis, MP for Sherwood Park—Fort Saskatchewan comes on to talk about the fate of the Liberals’ anti-Islamophobia motion M103.

Yeah, you see availed niqab wearing a Muslim woman and you want to carry her groceries into her house. Pretty stupid, unless you want your throat slit. The Assumption behind the niqab is that the women have to be protected and can’t be alone with strange men, so you are probably you’re not only subjecting yourself to death you may be subjecting her to death or serious beating

Brilliant Ezra. But is there still a crime in Canada called ‘Disturbance of the peace’? Can the police not arrest those with loudspeakers and rape whistles, and remove them? I admire those in the audience who stuck it out despite the noise and disruption – this behaviour affects them as well as the speaker. I completely agree that educational institutions should not allow these behaviours – a zero tolerance policy is in order. So many people seem to have lost their manners…..

OMG. The stupidity is strong in those students.

Michael Chong voting in favour of this insidious M103 pretty well shows up his true colours, doesn’t it? Supposed to be a Conservative, but everything he embraces, this bill, and a carbon tax, identifies him as a blatant liberal or something worse.

Politicians (all of them) do whatever they think will keep them in power. Police are the domestic military wing of the political class, they enforce the laws that their masters instruct them to. they can not be trusted. The only control you or any citizen has is the space around you that you can physically touch. This comes with a cost though and most people are happy to bitch and whine but duck the consequences. We can fight now or we can fight later.

- How about white BLM protesters beating up a black guy? The left is becoming more pathetic every day. I wish I had been at the Ryerson event. It looked like fun. Lets hope this trend spreads.

- The fact that officials didn’t release the name of the London terrorist pretty much guaranteed it would be a Muslim. “Progressives” have become disconnected from reality at this point where I have no doubt that those idiots who were laughing at Tommy would still be laughing if it was their friends & family laying dead on the ground.

- Any Conservative MP who voted for M-103 should be expelled from the party (I’m looking at you Michael Chong.) Canada already has laws to cover this sort of thing. We don’t need to give sharia extremists special treatment. The real bigots are the Liberals. They had to have their arms twisted to admit there were people in the middle east who were victims of genocide; they had to be pressured to allow a handful of Yazidis (real refugees) in; they reduced the number of privately sponsored refugees into the country for fear that non-Muslims get in & we see that fake refugees coming across the US border will get to cut in front of first nations people when it comes to getting social services. Time to stop letting these Liberal bigots get away with playing the race card.

Ryan Janke, he knew they were coming, he was prepared, and he stated it quite clearly.

Canadian Sno-Flakes are soooo friggin dumbed down today . . . . Canada’s future is Dim !

Garnett is weak and ill-informed . . . Sherwood Park certainly did not send their “Best” and “Brightest” !

Jon Coupland said, “Its painful to watch Mr. Genuis twist himself into a verbel pretzel.”

Oh, I thought that was standard politician speak. Don’t they take courses on how to talk a lot and say nothing … “politico babble speak 101” to be followed next semester with “intro to baffle gab”. Second year is first semester is “advanced politico babble” to be follow next semester with “baffle gab: the next stage”

I wonder what those who blow whistles, bullhorns, scream and chant nonsense into our faces think when they see themselves on camera? They are surely embarrassed. They must know they look like infantile children, smug little Triggly puffs. If you see one you recognize be sure to tell their parents that they must surely be very proud of their offspring. Even if the rest of the world sees them as infantile kindergarten brats who are acting like they missed their nap time. Their disruption doesn’t change anything, but it sure does highlight who is being tolerated and who is not. Time we turn that part around. This civil disobedience of theirs is going to get out of control. Maybe then the authorities will stop acting like cowards. This is no time for them to be standing down.
Stop funding universities.

It is good to have some like minds here. The country has to know our numbers are growing along with our discontent.
commented 2017-03-24 11:36:56 -0400
The fact that our public paid universities choose silence, instead of action against these immature babies, masquerading as adults, just proves that they are in agreement with, and aide those who wish to silence free speech. It’s shameful and I detest them for it.
commented 2017-03-24 11:28:15 -0400
The university administration is just as culpable to allow such boorish, uncivilized fascist behaviour on the campus.
They presumably have various means to stop this, proclamations, fines, suspension, expulsion, etc. If the fascists stood outside the university president’s office making such blaring noise in protest, what do you think would happen?

Liza Rosie: Your anger is justified. There is simply no need for this ambiguous legislation which has the potential of turning on it’s head the foundational laws which have governed our society (arguably mostly successfully) and has by far caused more division among Canadians than any issue I have witnessed. I don’t even know how it will be applied to Muslims who think wearing a Niqab is B.S. and not part of their religion or those Muslims who are causing the fear or what they refer to as Islamophobia with their extreme ideologies. Will Muslims be able to attack other people’s beliefs? The fact that we have seen nothing done to radical Imams spewing hate towards other groups (Jews, Christians, other Muslims) is credible reason for grave concern from a government who has turned a deaf and is only interested in pandering to potential vote demographics.

Sorry, Caolan Robertson. (Spelled that wrong in previous post, not a common name in Canada). As the mom of two young adults, it is great to see another young adult leaning right.

Liza Rosie, you go girl! You say what a lot of us feel. No need to apologize. I think most of us use this comment section to vent a little. When we hear of the rape of a child we all are horrified. PMJT seems to favour other nations, particularly Muslim, over our own people. That is frusterating to say the least. Anger is growing in Canada and it should.

LIZA ROSIE, “I apologise to my fellow Rebels. I am ticked off. Too much crap in the name of Islam this week. It has rattled me”
Liza we hear you and a lot of us feel a similar disgust for our politicians pandering to political correctness and, likewise, are “ticked off”. Reminds me of the scene from the movie Network, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take this anymore”.

Keith Barnes , I agree that Trudeau’s actions amount to treason. But for an action to be truly Machiavellian , one has to possess some degree of sagacity. Trudeau lacks this depth of knowledge and reasoning ability and that is why I referred to him as a fool. The people behind him however do possess the attributes of treacherous reasoning and purpose and that is the scary part.

Which distinctions would those be Garnett Genius, “distinctions which should not be made”. Ezra is not prejudging wrongly, or making distinctions which should not be made. Most complaints of most Canadians don’t either. Your generalizations are insulting.
Garnet said Canadians were discriminating without any basis. The wrong kind of discrimination.
How about Female genital mutilation, is that a bad thing?
Raping girls and women.
Preaching the killing of Jews in Mosques in Toronto, on a weekly basis, is that a bad thing?
How about prayer rooms in public schools?
No go zones, Sharia courts and Mutaween?
It is Islam that we are discriminating against, not people. Garnett, we know the distinction and make the distinction. It is not honest to say most don’t make it. It is as dishonest as Iqra Khalid accusing Canada of systemic racism.
Speaking for myself, Islam has no place in Canada. Muslims who wish to respect Canada, are proud to be Canadian and do not want to impose the will of Allah, are as welcome as any immigrant has always been to Canada. This sharia push is disrespectful of all the immigrants who came here before this Islamic rush, and it is disrespectful of all of us who were here before Islam.

I apologise to my fellow Rebels. I am ticked off. Too much crap in the name of Islam this week. It has rattled me.

Garnett Genuis, the rising tide of concern over having the country flooded with Islam is a valid one. The left and evidently you Garnett Genius, are equating a natural response to this invasion on our rights and sovereignty, to a ‘rising tide of Islamophobia’. We have been insulted, accused, and are being invaded by a culture not compatible with modern civil democracy, just ask them. Ask them Garnett Genius, and understand what their response really means. Islam is happy to coexist with us in Canada, as long as Canada complies with their wishes. Well, Canadians will never comply Garnett Genius. Politicians like you will never make me cower. I know Islam is a threat to the west. What do you know of Islam. What? For God sake man, inform yourself (and I don’t mean ask your Muslim fellow Parliamentarians).
Read the damn Koran, understand the history of this theocratic cult.
You Garnett Genius are a part of the problem.
If there is any anti Muslim discrimination in Canada, it is politicians like yourself who are causing it. Yes you voted against m103, but you still accuse Canadians of Muslim discrimination, when as you all know, most Canadians are just concerned about Islam having precedence, and accomplishing what Islam dictates it will do, which is to subjugate the kafir. You are the race baiters, and you are selling us out.
Sick to death of politicians like you. Sick to death of being ignored, mocked, and insulted. Canadians do not deserve this, not any of it.
All you do is deflect just like the left does. A totalitarian who calls himself a conservative.

Excellent show as usual Ezra.
The niqab does not belong in Canada. I cannot interact with someone who’s face is all covered. Unless you are forced to wear it, what woman would. How could you go through life not ever feeling the wind or sun on your face, even the rain & snowflakes. This is a repressive practice which belongs to the dark ages. I have only seen a person wearing a niqab once in MB, but see a few more wearing the hijab. They stay very much to themselves in the stores, never making eye contact or smile at anyone.
M-103 should have never seen the light of day. Canadian soldiers have died for our freedoms & free speech is one of them & that is not to be fooled around with ever. Criticizing is not hating, there is a difference & I agree with Ezra’s concept of the niqab as a “stay away from me” sign.

Once upon a time collaborating with the enemy was considered a crime but now they fly their flags and change our laws to make us criminals.

MUTA WEEN commented 1 hour ago, stated,

Instead they get fools like Trudeau to pass laws to protect them and the virus within their so called religion.

Muta, Trudeau is a fool, I agree with that, but his biggest problem is, HE IS A TRAITOR TO HIS COUNTRY AND TO MANKIND. He is having his Butt kissed by his inbred Muslim friends and he enjoys it.

Good show Ezra and I totally support your reactions at the university. We all, each and everyone who believes in freedom, we all have to start pushing back at this craziness of the left marxist apologist of islamist violence. I am only one small woman but I am appalled to see the lack of courage and common sense going on right now, either by the politicians, the media, the police, etc. What do they all think? That they will all be safe and continue living their little lives without problem once islam has taken control?
As Caolan has noticed the defeatism of the Londoners following the terrorist attack, I am afraid that, if the silent majority do not react now, the attacks against the West, the westerners and our rights and freedom are going to get far much worse than anything we have ever seen. Violence will increase and increase and innocents will lose their lives. We cannot count on our politicians who, for the most part, are either corrupted or ready to accomodate any immigrant for votes. If we do nothing and remain silent, we are going to pay a very high price. And after that, there will be no politician left, only religious dictators, there will be no media except the channel of the government, there will be no judges other than self-appointed imams, there will be no police except a mob who will execute you in the street, and hey lefties, you can forget your government-paid welfare, pensions, child benefits, free education and health care. Like the Venezuelans, you will kill your dogs and cats for food.
I salute your courage Ezra, and please keep fighting for all of us.

Ezra, I appreciated your jousting with MP Genius, supposedly representing the Conservative caucus. A lot of political waffling going on when you appropriately tried to pin him down as to what he meant by bigotry. Pretty sad! He will probably say send somebody else next time. I.don’t think he was honest with respect to your assessment that the Conservative caucus is somewhat gun shy when it comes to political correctness.

There must be some way M-103 (and any subsequent law based on it) can be challenged in court as a violation of the charter of rights and freedoms.
