Today the Washington Post ran a story about Donald Trump’s vice president, Mike Pence, and his wife Karen. The two of them seem to be inseparable, having fun, and it’s sort of cute.
But one thing about this story has absolutely driven left-wing pundits mad:
"In 2002, Mike Pence told the Hill that he never eats alone with a woman other than his wife and that he won’t attend events featuring alcohol without her by his side, either.”
I’ll show you some of the insane reaction from liberal pundits. For example, here's the editor of the leftist magazine, Mother Jones:
“If Pence won't eat dinner alone with any woman but his wife, that means he won't hire women in key spots.”
(Yeah, nobody tell this journalist that Mike Pence, as governor, appointed a woman as lieutenant governor.)
Hey, do you know who probably wishes her husband never engaged with other women? Hillary Clinton...
Today, feminists and social justice warriors don’t hesitate to make accusations against men, especially men in power with a lot to lose.
So sorry, ladies, Mike Pence’s remark wasn’t an anti-feminist thing to say.
It's the result of feminism.
If only all these shrill harpies could save just one percent of their Mike Pence hatred for, say, those who actually oppress women by the thousand, in places like the Middle East — and more and more, in the west...
